Keen
Konpeitō sits at a window table in a plant-based café. He's looking down at his phone and occasionally looking through the window expectantly.

Osmond Rhichter
Walks into the cafe, a nervous energy about him. His body tense and brow ridged. He checks his phone, reading a text then looks right to where Kon sits. His eyes widen, and he's slow to school his face into something neutral. After a moment's pause he sits across from Kon. "Mr. Konpeitō" He says.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Looks up, bright as usual. Has a moment of confusion, but carries on. "Oh. Hey! Didn't I tell you you don't need to call me Mr. Konpeitō?"

Osmond Rhichter
"Have you?" He says, distractedly. His foot is tapping and his hand has a slight shake to it.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Frowns, looking concerned now. "Yeah, but that doesn't matter right now. Are you alright? I assume you're, uh, from Bleedr?" Laughs a little. "Unless you're just looking for a conversation."

Osmond Rhichter
He grimaces, then says, "Yes, I am. From bleedr." Another grimace and his face smooths into something more controlled. "Please forgive my rudeness, I am. . . hungry."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"It's fine~" He smiles. "We might as well start now, then, yeah? Pretty lucky that we know each other. I hope that makes things easier for you. I've been doing this for a while. I don't judge."

Osmond Rhichter
"I. . ." He considers it, then, "Yes, it does make things easier." Oz moves to touch Kon then stops short, "I forgot to mention. To feed off you I must be in contact." Though Kon agreed to be fed on he will wait for permission.

Konpeitō Hatsu
He definitely reels back a little when Oz reaches out, but upon clarification the tension fades on his face. "That's fine." He lays a hand out. "Fair warning, I might get a little rude from hunger, but I'm pretty good at controlling myself."

Osmond Rhichter
Relaxes when the tension leaves Kon, he was worried for a moment. "Rudeness due to hunger is forgivable." Oz said and placed his hand on top of Kon's. The moment contact is made, he begins to draw Kon's hunger.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"You know, somehow I'm surprised you're on the app, but I guess this would be an easy way to get food without any problems."

Osmond Rhichter
"Ah," He hesitates, uncomfortable. "I. . . prefer not to use it." He adds, "I do not find anything wrong with the app or those who use it." Oz looks away, and sighs. "I try to keep my hunger under control." Yet here he is.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Tilts head. "Oh well, to each their own. I mostly use it as a donor. Sometimes I donate to the Sanguine Society, and I work as an organ donor at the hospital. I rarely do energy and emotional stuff though. It's always a unique experience." Laughs.

Osmond Rhichter
Huffs a short laugh, then regards Kon thoughtfully, "Your abilities put you in a unique position to help." As Oz eats, the tension is slowly leaving his body and the charged air about him eases.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Looks accomplished at Osmond relaxing. "Yeah they're pretty versatile, even if it's hard to bring up that kind of work. A lot of people find it unnerving."

Osmond Rhichter
Shrugs, "I have lived on the island my whole life, little truly unnerves me." A pause, "I think it's good you use your powers to donate. It is an important job."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I've only been here for a little over a year. What's it like living your entire life here?"

Osmond Rhichter
Oz closed his eyes for a moment, thinking over his answer. "I have never lived anywhere else, nor been to the Narrow Reality. If I could compare life there to here perhaps I could answer better. But," He opened his eyes.

"Growing up on the island, the many people who live here are simply normal to me. I grew up with demi-gods, other half demons and normal humans.

"Bakeries that sell human meat are as commonplace as the bakeries that do not. I remember being dared to eat sausage made of human meat for a dare when I was eleven." He huffed, as he was the only one brave enough to do so.

"I meet people all the time who are new to the islands, and they are what I measure my experiences against."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I understand that. Whenever people ask me what Japan's like, I don't know what to respond. Althooough, I never actually got to experience Japan, I just lived in it... Being dared to eat something sounds pretty..." He scrunches his nose. "I hoped you liked it, at least."

Osmond Rhichter
Huffs, and shrugs his shoulders, "Young boys will do the most irresponsible things. We were reckless and too eager to prove ourselves." Very slight smile in the quirk of his lip, "It tasted no different from regular sausage, if only a little sweeter."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I wouldn't know about that. My first real life experience with kids was when I came here. They're pretty different from how they're portrayed in show. And how they portray themselves online. Oh! But my first experience eating humans felt like I was daring myself. It took me a while to not be so antsy about it."

Osmond Rhichter
"Is anything ever as it appears on television?" Amused huff. "I take it now you have no such qualms?"

Konpeitō Hatsu
"No. Sometimes I do, but I get over it real quick. I've learned to not talk about it so openly, just in case some people don't appreciate the topic."

Osmond Rhichter
He nods, "It can be an uncomfortable topic for some. I have no qualms about discussing it." He sighs, almost done feeding and feeling the most satisfying fullness he hasn't felt in a long time. "How are you feeling?" He asks after a moment.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Would 'hungry' be too obvious of an answer?" he says with a laugh. "Really hungry, but the conversation helps." He looks out the window, then around the café before looking back at Osmond. :3c "How are you feeling?"

Osmond Rhichter
Resists urge to roll eyes. "I'm almost done." He could stop now, but it's been so long since he's been this full. Oz balks at the question, but makes himself answer. "Better. . . much better."

Konpeitō Hatsu
He can't help but ruin things a little. "You know? From an outsider's perspective, we're two people who have been holding each other's hands, staring into each other's eyes, talking."

Osmond Rhichter
Eyebrow twitch. Was pleasantly surprised as they were having such nice conversation but now Kon has to be his cheeky self. "Don't be cute, Mr. Hatsu"

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I'm not. I'm adorable. But thank you for the compliment, nonetheless." ;3c
"I'll also take charming, handsome, and breathtaking."

Osmond Rhichter
Levels Kon with a look, "Annoying, insufferable, bratty."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Laughs. "You know I'm not so bad. If I was really insufferable, you wouldn't still be here. Or you would have already kicked me out of your class... Maybe you haven't because I your most hardworking student?"

Osmond Rhichter
Kon has a point there, a point to both, but Oz won't give him the satisfaction. Deadpan he says, "It is because you need the most help."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Do I now?" He has the cheekiest smile. "Is that why I often speed ahead the rest of the class? Or I ask questions that are a bit ahead of what's being taught? If I'm doing something wrong, I should know. Managing money is one of my favorite things. I need to do it right."

Osmond Rhichter
Shoots Kon an annoyed look, "Stop acting like the cat that stole the cream. It's unbecoming." Has forgotten he's still touching Kon's hand because he's worked up now.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Alright, alright!" Is trying to hold back a smile, but he does look a little concerned now. "I didn't—Okay, I sort of intended to ruin the moment, but in all fairness, I'm hungry and cats are predators. And you know how I can be when I'm not hungry."

Osmond Rhichter
Heavy sigh, "No, you're fine. You did warn me." Removes his hand and pulls out his wallet. "What would you like? I can pay for your meal."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Takes his hand back. Is semi-surprised by Osmond offering to pay. "Give me a moment to think. I'm actually really hungry." Nervously laughs. "I was going to get a breakfast burrito, plant burger, and a salad." Looks a little embarrassed at all of that. "I don't mind splitting."

Osmond Rhichter
"I suspected as much, and it would be no trouble for me." He's a little guilty about starving Kon, even though it was mutually agreed to. "You may get whatever you'd like, or however much. I offered to pay."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Alright... But first, I want to apologize about how I treated you." He puts his hands to his cheeks. "I like to mess around and sometimes I go too far. Even if it's really fun seeing your reactions."

Osmond Rhichter
Closes his eyes for a moment, "You have always liked to get a rise from me." He comments dryly. Oz shakes his head, "I accept your apology. I am not upset with you." He levels Kon with a look, "If you go too far be assured I would say so." Then his face softens, "But you have not."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Shakes his head. "I gave you a chance to tell me to stop. To back out. Now I've just been encouraged. Anything that happens from here on out is on you."

Osmond Rhichter
Exasperated sigh, and rubs his hands down his face. "I am not responsible for you." He grumbles. "Or your actions. If you would get something to eat before I rescind my offer to purchase you a meal."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Is trying very hard to keep the laughter from bubbling up. Moves out of his seat. "We have to head to the front. Are you doing anything after this?" he asks as he walks.

Osmond Rhichter
Mild glare at that but schools his face into a more neutral expression. He follows after Kon. “I planned on finishing a report for work then opening a bottle of wine.”

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Aw, I wanted to ask about how your eating works. But now that I say that out loud, that might be rude." He waits in line behind one other person.

Osmond Rhichter
“Another time if you’re that curious. It’s not that exciting anyways.”

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Another time then~" Moves to the front and orders his food, then lets Osmond do the payment. "Now that you're know I'm the app, you don't have to worry about using it to find someone. Or maybe you have more to worry about, considering it's me."

Osmond Rhichter
Pays for the food in cash and moves out of line with Kon. “. . . Perhaps.” He says, and adds hesitantly. “This was one of my better experiences.”

Konpeitō Hatsu
He isn't even sure if that's a compliment or just sad. "Then I'll have to be kinder nice time and give an even better experience. I can't have my rating going down because I'm being annoying, insufferable, and bratty." He says that playfully, not offended at all. Actually may sound a bit proud of it.

Osmond Rhichter
The answer is sad, going by the expression on his face. “I shudder to think what constitutes as kinder for you.” He says, but there is no bite in his tone. “But for now your rating is safe.”

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Let the idea haunt you until next time." His voice rises and lowers, as if he's telling a ghost story. "But I won't hold you up. This was fun, and I hope it was mostly fun for you. At least 70% fun."

Osmond Rhichter
Unimpressed by the spooky tone. “It was pleasant.” He says.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I'll take that as an 80% then." Winks. Takes his food from the counter, carefully, but easily, balancing them. "Well, Mr. Rhichter, I got a lot to eat now. Don't let all that energy I gave you go to waste."

Osmond Rhichter
“Try not to over do it.” Though he knows its a moot point. It’s the thought that counts? “Take care and I suppose I will see you at my Monday class.”

Konpeitō Hatsu
"You do worry about me." He'd put a hand over his heart if they weren't full. "Yeah! I'll be sure to study hard, since I need the most help."

Osmond Rhichter
He regrets saying that now. “Take care,” adds, “Kon.” And takes his leave before anymore teasing can happen.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Byee! You take care as well!"

Fox Tarts
Scene: After one of his classes in the community center, Oz is packing up his briefcase.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Stands up from his table and fumbles with his bag. "Wait, before you go, I got something for you." >:3c

Osmond Rhichter
"Hmm?" He watches Kon fiddle with the bag, his expression holding slight worry.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Catches that expression. "Don't look like that." >:T "Do you think I'm about to pull a bomb out or something?" Digs into his messenger bag.

Osmond Rhichter
"Or something." Though he tries to look less worried.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Can you eat sweets?" He pulls out Ziploc bag with an assortment of small pastries. "I had last week off from work and was bored out of my mind, so I did... a lot of cooking. And baking. I've been giving them out."

Osmond Rhichter
He's surprised to see a baggie of sweets, "Yes. I can eat sweets." A slight pause, "They look good, you did a good job."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"See? Nothing scary. I should have sectioned them off better, now that I think about it." He eyes a cake pop getting pressed against a brownie, then moves over to Osmand to give him the bag.
"But thank you~ I actually don't eat a lot of sweets, but a lot of people like them. They're an easy gift to give."

Osmond Rhichter
"A plastic container would have been better," He agrees, but accepts the bag and adds it to his brief case. "Given your flair for the. . . colorful, I would have pegged you as the sweet tooth type."
"But thank you for the gift."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"You'd think, huh?" He laughs. "With the name too. I was made to have this whole funfetti, birthday-cake look."

Osmond Rhichter
Totally dry and deadpan, "I thought your theme was five-year-old's cat clown drawing."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Pfft. "You know, you're not that far off."

Osmond Rhichter
"That you were designed by a five year or or that you are a cat clown?" Smallest up turn of his mouth into a smile.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Can't it be both~?" Goes to sit down at a nearby table. "Not a five-year old, but my dad had the artistic skill of one, and I was designed in his 'perfect image.'"

Osmond Rhichter
Leans back against a table, thinks for a moment, "And you like the bright colors and flair, so you've kept the design?" Then adds, "I ask as I know you can freely change yourself."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Ah, you caught me. In all fairness, I used to wear colors that were a lot brighter. Now I go for a more pastel goth aesthetic. It's still eye-catching, isn't it?"

Osmond Rhichter
Dry look, "I could never not notice you, Konpeitō."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Puts a hand over his heard. "Mr. Osmond Rhichter. Are you trying to flatter me?"

Osmond Rhichter
"Merely pointing out that the blind could notice you. Call that flattering if you so wish."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I'll take it. I deserve it after all that work of giving you somewhat crumbled pastries."
Kicks his legs a little. "So, what's been up with you? I feel bad for not calling up more of my friends to hang out last week."

Osmond Rhichter
Shrugs helplessly. "With me? You consider me your friend?" His tone is questioning and a little disbelieving.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Flares pink a little. Alllll over. "We talk casually enough and we see each other regularly. I think I see you more often than most of my friends. I actually don't hang out with a lot of people."

Osmond Rhichter
Blinks, he did not anticipate that reaction. Stunned silent, then, "Ah. . . I. . . I see your point." He sighs and rubs the bridge of his nose. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. . . come off the way I did. I don't 'hang out' with many people either."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Don't worry~ I'm very chill. I don't find you insulting. If I did, I wouldn't attend your classes."

Osmond Rhichter
"You wouldn't have been the first. Not that I am in the habit of insulting my students but-" He shrugs, "However, I suppose we would be considered friends."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Good." "Looks like we both need to get out more. Actually, what sort of stuff do you do? Other than teaching financial classes, half-insulting your students, and being hungry."

Osmond Rhichter
"I-" Kon has a point so he can't deny it. "I cook, I exercise-" Cuts himself off as Kon would likely not be interested in that, "When I have the money I hunt for fine wines and when I don't, I read. I'm rather boring."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Tilts head. "Doesn't sound boring to me. Actually, I do all of that... exceeeept for the wine. I don't think I've ever met a predator of wine."

Osmond Rhichter
"Glad to know. My sister won't shut up about how boring I am. And it's easy one must only know their prey." Slight smile.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"You have a sister? First I learn you were once a child, now this. You really are an enigma..."

Osmond Rhichter
Rolls his eyes, "If it's that shocking then perhaps I should not mention I have a brother as well."

Konpeitō Hatsu
He goes grey and leans against the table. "I'm in shock. I hope you're prepared for the murder charges you'll soon receive." Then he laughs, going back to normal. "But seriously, from what I've gathered, it's a sibling's job to insult family."

Osmond Rhichter
"Don't be so dramatic." Huffs, as Kon returns to normal. "You would be correct, though, it is a job my sister is especially taken with. She can't go one day without making some teasing comment or another."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"There's only one person I feel close enough to consider a sibling, but he's pretty tame. I don't think I could tease him either. I'd be too worried about saying something hurtful."

Osmond Rhichter
Bluntly, "You should meet my sister than, the two of you could banter into the sunset. The meaner the teasing the better in her book."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"... Would you really want that?" Squints. "Think about it. Do you our our teasing would be restrained between her and me?"

Osmond Rhichter
A pause, "You're right. I would not want the two of you teaming up against me. Good catch."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Clicks his tongue. "I shouldn't have said anything. Oh well, someday we'll get in contact and make your days on this island an absolute terror."

Osmond Rhichter
"Don't be so down, if you spend time with me you'll come across her sooner or later."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Oh right! I don't need to exercise, but I wouldn't mind going on runs with you. Actually, have you done yoga before?"

Osmond Rhichter0
Makes a face at the word yoga, thus expressing what he thinks of that idea.

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Seriously? You're always standing and working. I don't need to go into the whole mindfulness, relaxation stuff of yoga, but it's good for stretching and endurance. It'll keep your joints strong for when you become an old man. And, well..." He looks Osmond up and down, then falls silent.

Osmond Rhichter
"Did you forget I that I said I exercise? I go to the gym regularly for strength training. I am not afraid for my joints." Though, his eyebrow did quirk in annoyance at the insinuation. "I am in excellent shape."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I know, I know. I can tell." Wink. "But you confirmed we're friends now. It's important that I show concern for your health and degrading joints."

Osmond Rhichter
"For hell's sake, Kon, I'm only thirty!"

Konpeitō Hatsu
Nods somberly. "That's my point."
Is trying SO hard to keep a shit-eating smile off his face.

Osmond Rhichter

"Yes, and yoga will save my joints, balance my digestion, align my chakras and bring me eternal inner peace."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I'm glad you understand. We can go to a class together. There's an afternoon class on Thursday, if you're available.'

Osmond Rhichter
Long, heavy sigh. "Yes, yes. Fine."

Konpeitō Hatsu
... "I didn't actually think you'd resign that fast. Or at all, really."
"Shit. Now I have to reschedule for yoga."

Osmond Rhichter
Gives Kon a blank look. "You son of a-" He sighs. "I suppose it's an appropriate punishment for offering plans you didn't intend to commit too." Small smirk. "I shall hold you to your invitation."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"You're the only one who will suffer in the end. Even before I learned how to shape-shift, I was flexible enough to work as a cheerleader, and my stamina was limitless."

Osmond Rhichter
"Yes, because I am an old man who tires walking up a flight of stairs."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"See? Now you get it. But don't feel too bad about it. I swear, people above the age of 25 barely exist here."
"Or I should say non-humans above the age of 25 barely exist."

Osmond Rhichter
Just sighs.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Was not actually trying to sound insulting but realized he did. "I'm calling you a rarity! It's a good thing!"

Osmond Rhichter
"If you insist. And no, before you ask, I am not insulted."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Good~ Can I have your phone number? It'll be easier to schedule than communicating over Bleedr."

Osmond Rhichter
Pulls out his phone and sets up a new contact for Kon. "Agreed."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Takes out his phone to do the number exchanging thing. "Perfect! I'll leave you to packing up then. I have stuff I need to rearrange because someone couldn't bother to be a little more stubborn, and now's better than later."

Osmond Rhichter
Dryly, "Forgive me for being so accommodating and accepting your offer to 'hang out' when you bemoaned your lack of people to spend time with."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"You also said you don't hang out much either. If anything, this could be a pity hang out."

Osmond Rhichter
"Don't call it that. That sounds depressing."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Laughs. "I'm only saying, we both 'bemoaned' not having many people to hang out with. But I do appreciate you being so accommodating~ It would be boring if you were predictable."

Osmond Rhichter
Don't remind him, Kon. "Take care, Konpeitō." He finishes packing his things and goes to leave. "And I'll see you Thursday."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"See you~ Don't forget to eat my snacks!" Packs up his own bag before heading out.

Walks in with a newspaper tucked under his arm.

"I suppose work like that should be done by someone"

Konpeitō Hatsu
Perks up. "Hi Osmond!"

Fuyuko
Looks at her phone again, stands up "This time spent here was useful, but I'll go now"

Konpeitō Hatsu
Clicks his tongue. "And it was so active earlier. Alright, byee~ It was nice talking to you!"

Fuyuko
Observes Kon for a moment "If you say so" nods at Osmond, takes her parasol and opens it as she exits

Osmond Rhichter
Watches as Fuyuko takes her leave, giving a polite nod before turning to Kon. Deadpans, "What a surprise."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"A pleasant surprise, I hope~ I made tea earlier. Want me to make you a cup? I'll have to boil the water again."

Osmond Rhichter
Takes a seat on the end of a couch, "Tea would be nice, thank you."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Gets up and goes to the kitchenette to boil water. "You missed all the activity earlier. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing though. Some of it wasn't too fun."

Osmond Rhichter
Shrugs, "You can't predict who will come in or what they will do."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"That's part of the fun, I think. But I can predict somewhat. I come here frequently enough that I sometimes can have a good guess at who will be around, depending on the day and its time."

Osmond Rhichter
"Truly your most powerful ability. Spending too much time at the community center." The sliiightest upturn of his mouth into a smile.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Comes back with Osmond's tea, then goes to throw his own empty cup into the trash. "I know you're joking, but I'm very proud of my networking skills. Maybe I should call it my most powerful ability."

Osmond Rhichter
"Thank you." Sips the tea, seemingly immune to the boiling temperature. "I agree. Knowing the right people can get you far on the island."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Ah, it's—" Oh okay he's fine then. Goes to sit beside him. Lays his tails on Osmond's lap. "Consider yourself lucky to know me while my reputation is still early in the making. Give it three years and I'll be very well-known here. And then I'll..." waves his hand, looking for the right word, "rule the world or something like that."

Osmond Rhichter
"I'll drop your name whenever I want to get into all the exclusive candy stores." Hesitates for a moment and quietly and quickly gives his tail a pet. "ruling the world sounds like too much work for you."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"I'll be sure to tell them to not give you any discounts," he says with a teasing voice, then gives in to purr. "I'd rather someone else rule and I help out where I'm needed. Less work for me and more benefits. It's nicer to be the man behind the man."

Osmond Rhichter
"What would I ever do." Sips more of his tea. "Behind the man and not the cat in his lap? Hmm."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"Now that you mention it, I like that a lot more. Unfortunately, that means the one who's leading will have a really sore hand from petting me all the time."


Osmond Rhichter
Huffs, "Only because you're so demanding."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"You say that like it's a bad thing. Think of it this way: that means I want your attention more than anyone else's."

Osmond Rhichter
"What makes you think it will be me doing your dirty work?

Konpeitō Hatsu
"The man behind the man, or the cat in the lap in this case, makes all the decisions. Last time I checked, my tails are on your lap, meaning I'm on your lap, meaning you'll be doing my dirty work."

Osmond Rhichter
Looks between Kon's tails then his face, and shoves both tails off with his free hand.

Konpeitō Hatsu
Brushes Osmond's face with his tails as he tries to get them back onto his lap.

Osmond Rhichter
Quickly realizes this is a losing fight. Also spits out some hair that of course got in his mouth. "Find some goon to do your work."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Laughs. "Wouldn't you be considered my goon if you're the face of the operations?"

Osmond Rhichter
"I am the face of nothing. This is your business."

Konpeitō Hatsu
Shakes his head sadly. "I'm hurt. I was willing to help you out with your work if you help me out with mine. Perhaps I need to teach you some networking skills."

Osmond Rhichter
Flatly. "I work in real estate. Appraising houses. What help do I need?"

Konpeitō Hatsu
He shrugs. "Dad worked in cyber security and I was still able to help him. I'd help around the house to give him more time to work, or I'd help him review his work when he was struggling. Also you still teach finance classes. I can be a teacher assistant there, seeing as how I'm your best student. You need to think bigger." >:3c

Osmond Rhichter
Grumbles, "More like my biggest distraction. Especially if you tried to be my assistant teacher."

Konpeitō Hatsu
"You should know how good of a work ethic I have. You biggest fear should be me being too good at my job and too likable."

Osmond Rhichter

"That's good. I was really worried about that. I know I can be overly playful."

"I had a feeling. I. . . I don't have the best history with dating. I'm not used to making public displays of affection. It was strange for me, and caught me off-guard, but I was not uncomfortable by it."

"I have no idea. My dad worked in cyber security and I would help him there, so I've been thinking of something similar. I've also made a hobby out of building computers and making masks... I'm focused on something that can make me money, though I do like the idea of." He pauses, getting a little flustered. When he speaks, it's clear he changed his mind. "I like the idea of doing something relaxing, like cleaning or cooking."

Thinks for a moment then stands up. "I think I still have it somewhere. . . If you would wait a moment." He vanishes around the corner and goes upstairs. Oz is gone for a few minutes then returns with a course catalog for the SA college. "Have a look through this. It lists the various degrees and courses the college can offer." The book is likely outdated but there are many tabs in the section for business degrees.

Finishes his drink while he waits, then when the book's given to him. "Oo, thank you. It's so hard to choose, you know? I get thrown into this life and the school's like 'Okay, time to figure things out.' Anyway, finance, economics, and accounting all sound appealing."

Shrugs and takes his seat again. "Finance is what I specialized in." A pause, "At risk of sounding cliché, I think you should look at programs you think you'd enjoy. If cyber security interests you then why not attempt it?"

"I can't say it's something that interests me. It's something I'm good at because it was helpful. If anything." He laughs. "I know it's obvious, but I really like handling money... or anything involving organization. I love planning and seeing everything come together. And I like being at the top."

"Then perhaps business administration?"

Goes to find that in the book, nodding along as he reads. "This... sounds really interesting. I like how much it encompasses." Looks it up on his phone.

Small smile, "You could give it some thought, and continue to research what's out there. I'll support whatever choice you man."

Big smile. "Thank you. I'm getting excited now. There's so many options. And with my quick learning I could get through all of this so fast. I'd just have to figure out what job to drop if I ever do this... Oh, how did you decide on what you wanted to do?"

Catching some of Kon's enthusiasm. . . and it comes crashing down. "Ah, it. . . it worked out to a job in my father's business in the end." He stands, "I think I'm going to open a bottle of wine. Would you care for some?"
