He stopped playing and smiled as he turned around. He sat on the stool hunched over, elbows on his legs, hands together, and fingers laced. His hair fell infront of his right eye as he watched her with his head tilted. "Thanks, but it's not really mine... Just stuff I used to play all the time from other artists."

She sat up, through the poppies. "Yes, but everyone makes it their own somehow. Little changes here and there. It's inevitable. Whether you mean to or not. Plus, I'm hearing it from you, not some old dead guy!" She smiled, and went over to him, and sat down next to him on the bench.

When she sat down, he instinctively started running his hand up and down her back. "Yeah, but I like hearing it from those old dead guys. They're so much better than me and actually know what notes make the song. They didn't have to improvise because the songs were originally theirs and they knew how to play them."

Enelya bursted out laughing, and she kissed him lightly on the cheek. "Yeah, but I've never heard it from the old dead guy... for obvious reasons, and from what I've heard, your wonderful! Plus improv makes it so much more fun to listen to because you can't expect what will be next. Predictability can be very overrated."

He smiled, looking at the floor. "I guess improv is fun. Though, predictability is nice sometimes when it's something you enjoy, you know? I love listening to their work and knowing what parts are where so I can play along in my mind. Or like I wouldn't mind sleeping in a tree with you every night. Or predicting how my skills are going to work as I use them." He slipped the tree comment in the middle, wondering if she was going to notice.

She gave him a small smile, and put her head against his shoulder, it was almost as if it belonged there. "I suppose your right... I do like being about to sleep in the tree with you. That kind of predictability is nice... And, knowing whether or not your powers are going to work is always nice too!" She laughed a little, nudging him with her head.

His smile stuck to him as she put her head on his shoulder. He touched his nose to the top of her head. He spoke softly, "We should do that more often. It's fun, I get to spend time with you, and the night sky watches over us before we wake up to a sunrise."

She smiled, and laughed a little, "Its almost like a two for one deal..." Her voice trailed off as she closed her eyes, and wrapped her arms around Kotah, giving him a small embrace. "I thought we were going up to the roof this evening though, to paint. But whatever you want to do is fine with me."

Kotah thought to himself but spoke aloud. "Yeah, lets go to the roof now. Besides, if we get too tired, you can just sprout a tree on the roof, right?" He nudged her and smiled. "That really is an amazing gift you have, Enelya. I envy what peace you must have with yourself, being able to create and sustain life."

Enelya smiled, and nodded slightly, "Sure, just let me run to the art room and let me get my paints.."

"That really is an amazing gift you have, Enelya. I envy what peace you must have with yourself, being able to create and sustain life."

Enelya blushed, and smiled slightly.
