"Even more curious than me..." he muttered.

"I dunno... Maybe some other time, ok? I'm more susceptible when the night sky is out and when I've been alone all day." He looked over at her, thoughtfully, his hair hiding half of his face.

She looked at him gently, and nodded, leaning against his shoulder. She put her fingers on a couple keys, and made a little tune. It was short, simple, and sweet. She didn't know how to play the piano, but it sounded good enough to her.

"That's perfectly fine with me.. Maybe I'll get it out of you the next time we fall asleep in the tree over the lake..." Her voice trailed off, and she closed her eyes. It had been a long day, and she was getting sleepy.

He glanced at her on his shoulder and smiled. Gently resting his head on hers, he said quietly. "Maybe, yeah..." He paused before adding. "You sound tired... Rough day?"

She nodded, "Got in a fight with a squirrel. Wouldn't believe me that nuts don't grow on the trees in the winter time. I tried to convince him he needed to save up, so he wouldn't go hungry. Wouldn't believe me... I tried...ended up that I had to just leave him alone, getting another, older squirrel to convince him..."

Enelya had to say, out of all the little creatures she's come upon in her years, squirrels were her least favorite, boisterious, michevious little devils. They always think they are better and smarter than someone else. Little buggers.

If he was facing her at the moment, she'd get to experience one of his "Uh huh..." faces. Arguing with a squirrel... he thought for a moment, Yeah, I supose it'd be worse than arguing with myself. They're annoying even when you CAN'T understand them...

"Squirrels... You know, I used to think squirrels were cute when I was younger, but I later found out they're really annoying... even when you can't talk to them. If it makes you feel any better, there was one particular squirrel that had to endure part of my... experimental period."

Enelya sat up and laughed, "Good! I usually respect most of the animals but those little guys... UGH! They are horrible. They won't listen to ANYONE! Took away all my energy aruging with the little devil!" She shook her head and put it back on his shoulder. "Then, I had to endure a whinny grizzly. Got a thorn in his paw...again. Silly oof, if there were thorns in that part of the woods last time he got stuck, then there were thorns the second time. I swear, bears are cute and cuddlely and all, but the have no brains at all." She pointed to her head and sighed.

He smiled, enjoying the fact she was talking to him about her day, and he nodded in understanding. "That bear reminds me of one of my siblings. There's a large section of the woods behind the house where the ground is coated in thorn bushes and some of them look like trees... Anyway, he would always wind up stuck in some bush and one of us would have to drag him out. I had eventaully cleared a path through there, since I love the way it looks. Archways of long, thin tendrils covered in spikes, theatening to grab you and never let go... The way the sunlight bearly filters through the fingers of some monsterously horned demon." He smiled to himself. "I love gothic art styles way too much." He chuckled.

She laughed, and grabbed his hand, playing with his fingers, putting them inbetween her own or just holding them.

"Some kids just never learn, and I swear, that bear is never going to grow up! I tell him, 'listen, these guys hurt, you should know, don't walk in this part of the forest again okay?' Then next thing I know I hear him howling through the trees. News travels fast when you can talking to trees." She winked.

"Those tendrils kinda reminds me of Lord of the Flies..." She always remembered things she read, once, in the library, she had been intrigued by the titled, and recently read it in the Academy's library.

He watched her quietly without pulling away.

"Those tendrils kinda reminds me of Lord of the Flies..."

"That's a fun book... I've read it a few times myself. I find it almost humorous how the author turned everything into a symbol of some sort." He was playing with a zipper with his other hand. "Myself, I just like playing with imagry, not even giving a point in the story half the time. I'm not as good as I'd like to be, which is why I think I took up drawing, painting, and that sort of thing. It's a lot easier to translate when the subjects are in the same language, picture and paint, rather than picture and words."

Enelya continued to play with his hand, and nodded as he spoke. "If you asked me to describe a sunset in words.. I don't think I could do it, but I can try and capture it with my paints... plus, I don't think you should try and describe a sunset... I don't think anyone would do it justice."

She sighed, "What about your day?"
