"Well how do you know we aren't?" Kacey asked not waiting for much of a answer. "I have a boyfriend already." Kacey said leaving it at that, she wasn't going to discuss Ian.
"Well, I see he likes you but you don't like him. Poor guy, I pitty him. He seems awful in love with you, no one just puts their life on the line for someone like that. Well I guess that doesn't matter." Charlie said whisfully...
"Actually we are friends and he did tell me he loved me that day. When he said it I didn't know what to do. I mean have a boyfriend, so I couldn't really say it back or anything." She said unsurely as she sighed.
"I'm guessing you like him too then. Why stay with this other guy if the feeling is mutual, I mean if he cares that much and maybe you do then why let another guy get in the way?"
"I....I....i don't know." Kacey said, unsure of what to say. It was to complicated to explain. "It's complicated." She said, not knowing what else to say about it.
Charlie shrugged... "I don't know, it'd just that maybe you need to think about it a little instead of ignoring the question and making accuses. I mean you can't ignore it forever. I mean..." Charlie decided to shut his mouth... Since when did he become a expert on relationships...
Had she really been ignoring the questions for that long? Or did it just seem that long? Kacey didn't know. "You mean what?" Kacey asked wondering what he was going to say next.
"I mean that things can happen... To you, or him, and then you'd be sorry that you never answered the question that bugged your heart." Charlie said going straightly to the point....
"Yeah your right. But I still don't know." Kacey said, she still didn't know what she was going to do, so many people were telling her what to do thinking they were helping her when they were only making her more confused. "I....I....think I love him back."
"Then talk to him... Tell him your confused, I mean he'd probably be happier knowing that, then not knowing anything at all." Charlie said in a fatherish manner....
