Gabe had decided to take Bill to the festival that was currently going on around the city. He thought it would be a nice idea for something to do, it'd be a shame to stay inside all day with the weather being as nice as it had recently. He'd heard there was going to be a lot of music which he hoped would be entertaining and there was something to do with flowers too, which he knew Bill really liked.

"We're here," Gabe announced to his boyfriend, shooting him a small smile. There were a couple groups of people around but luckily the park wasn't as crowded as he'd expected, Gabe wouldn't have minded there being crowds they brought atmosphere, but he knew it'd wreck poor Bill's head to have so many people about. He imagined it'd be far more crowded downtown, as there was more action taking place there. Perhaps they'd head down there in the evening but for now he was happy to enjoy some sun in the park.

"Wanna sit down over there?" Gabe tilted his head towards a bench, "or will we walk around a bit first?" His legs were a little tired as they'd been walking for ages to get here but it'd be a shame to not look around them after coming all this way. He'd let Bill decide though, as he didn't mind either way.

<div align=center>People. People everywhere. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. William frequently complained about never being able to go out anywhere, now they were out. He wanted to go home. His head was hurting and he could feel sweat beading on his palms. He shuffled closer to Gabe and clung to him, pulling himself close and frowning softly. The day was warm and bright, he didn't much feel like taking off his sweater however, that wasn't something that really happened all that often. He wasn't all that sure why Gabriel announced their arrival, "uhm. Yeah. I know. I have eyes." He mumbled, lifting an eyebrow at his boyfriend.

William placed a hand on his head and adjusted his hat just a little. The regular foil hat that was usually upon his head was in fact underneath the one he wore. It didn't make for much use, but it looked good at least. Besides, at least people didn't give him strange looks for wearing a foil pirate hat all the time. Not my fault.

The boy shrugged, "eh. Don't know. Don't care." He was more or less indifferent to the options he'd been given, he didn't much want to be here to begin with, and his mood was dropping south by the seconds. "Can we go home now? It's too hot and there are too many people." He muttered, pulling his hand away from Gabriel's and wiping them on his jeans. He proceeded to fold his arms and stop. "No more walking.".</div>

Gabe could sense that something wasn't right with Bill, the boy had a sulky expression masking his face and he was clinging far tighter than necessary onto Gabriel. Gabe was a little bit irritated about the fact that he could see Bill's mood taking a turn for the worst considering William had been nagging at him for ages to take him out somewhere.

Realising that William's bad mood had probably something to do with the amount of people and maybe the heat, Gabe pressed a kiss to his boyfriend's cheek. He decided he'd better be extra complimentary with William today if their trip out was going to last any longer than half an hour.

"You do," Gabe nodded, "you've very pretty eyes." He could see himself reflected in William's doe-like eyes. Gabe wondered if the boy's hat wasn't working right and perhaps that's why he was irritated. But William was nervous in public and around strangers regardless so it could have been down to either of those things.

"C'mon Bill," Gabe pleaded. He tried to keep his tone light, the last thing he wanted to do was offend William. "We've just got here, let's sit down and enjoy ourselves for a while." He didn't find it as busy as William did, Gabriel and William had very different views on how many people was too many.

"We can grab somewhere in the shade," he promised, "that way you won't be hot." Gabe grinned and added, "well aside from the other kind of hot, que no se puede evitar."

<div align=center>William shot the man a strange look, "what the fuck?" He pushed the man away, it was too hot for him to be so close. "Because that isn't weird, or creepy." He muttered. Perhaps talking like that wasn't the best way to keep William's mood steady right now. He evidently hadn't liked that. The heat was perhaps the worst thing, it made him uncomfortable and prickly, he didn't much want to take his jacket off, either. Leather wasn't the best thing to wear during a day like this. He was evidently struggling with it. "I wanna go home now." They should have driven, or at least caught the bus.

"Stop it. You're making me really uncomfortable." He muttered, folding his arms and glancing up to Gabriel. He didn't want to sit down much, he'd rather just go home. But he knew the older boy would complain if that happened, and therefore he didn't have much choice but to deal with this stupid place and sit down like the other boy had suggested. He'd much rather be back in his dorm with a fan on him. William hated hot weather, but then again, didn't he hate the cold as well? He'd very likely end up getting burned today. Great.

"Ugh. Fine. Let's sit down. I don't care." He was feeling temperamental and snappy. He could feel people staring at him and he didn't like it one bit. These were mostly just paranoid thoughts, but they bothered him nonetheless.</div>

Gabe tilted his head, and raised an eyebrow. He wasn't sure why William was being so irritable with him. All he had done was give the boy a compliment and a kiss on the cheek, nothing he hadn't done before. "Why was it creepy?" He asked with a hint of a frown. He hadn't liked Bill pushing him away either, but he decided to pretend it hadn't happened.

"Maybe you should take off your jacket, Bill," Gabe suggested. He could see William struggling with the heat, and the leather jacket clearly wasn't helping. He didn't know why the boy hadn't taken it off earlier, though if he thought about it long enough he'd realise that William wanted to hide the scars on his arms.

"But we've only got here...." Gabe repeated, he didn't want to leave straight away, there'd have been no point in coming all this way. It probably would have been smarter for them to have gotten the bus here, but Gabe hadn't realised the walk would be so long. At least he had enough for their fare back.

"I am?" Gabe didn't understand why he was making the boy uncomfortable, was it because there were other people around that the things Gabe said were bothering him or would they have bothered him when they were alone too? "I didn't realise, sorry." He scratched the bridge of his nose, if he wasn't able to get William's mood to take a better turn then it was going to be a very long afternoon.

While in theory Gabe had gotten what he wanted with Bill agreeing to sit down, he wasn't all that happy about it because there wasn't much point in them sitting down if William was gonna be cranky all the while.

"Let's sit there," Gabe spotted a nice bench, under some trees, well shaded and out of the way. He took Bill's hand again, determined to bring the boy over even if he was reluctant. When they sat down Gabe smiled, trying to lift William's spirits. "Thank you." He had tried to ignore the snarkiness William was giving him until now, "can I get a smile please, Guillermo? They suit you a lot better." He hoped this would work instead of having the opposite effect, which he knew it very well could.

<div align=center>William sighed audibly. "I don't want to take off my jacket." He stated. Gabriel was probably right and that was probably the exact reason why William didn't want to take his jacket off. No matter how hot it got. He had to choose between heat stroke and the possibility that someone might stare at him. He was choosing heat stroke, evidently. Though he'd probably crack and take it off with persistence. He didn't answer Gabe's other question, merely shot him an irritated little glare. He wasn't a happy bunny. Not at all. He muttered something spiteful under his breath and folded his arms.

The chance that he'd be able to pull Bill out of this awful mood he was for some reason in rested on William forgetting that he was feeling grumpy. There usually wasn't any real reason for it, he was just feeling irritated and spiteful, and of course Gabriel would end up getting that taken out on him.

He reluctantly sat down on the bench and crossed his legs up onto the seat, yanking his hand away from Gabe's and placing them both in his lap. In response to Gabe's question he merely scowled even harder at him, "oh so you're telling me I look ugly when I scowl, wow thanks that makes me feel so much better nice going Gabe." He muttered, "well you look stupid all the time, so."</div>

"Alright, suit yourself." Gabe shrugged, "if I were you though I'd take it off before you faint." He was a little worried that William would end up collapsing if he kept it on, he could spot beads of sweat already forming on the boy's forehead.

Suddenly he remembered that he had a bottle of water in his backpack, he'd felt stupid lugging the bag around but at least it meant he had everything he needed. "Here do you want some water, Bilvy? It might help cool you down a bit." It wouldn't work a miracle seen as it had warmed up a bit in the bag, but it'd help.

Gabe sighed audibly. William had taken it wrong, he had predicted that might happen but he'd taken a chance on it. Stupid, he told himself. "No, I'm not saying that." Gabe argued, "you look lovely all the time, but you just look even nicer when you're happy." He laughed when William told him he looked stupid all the time, "if you say so." There was no point taking it to heart, Bill was just being a little childish .

"Seriously though Guillermo," Gabe continued, ignoring William's scowls, "I don't mean that you look ugly at all. I just was hoping we could enjoy the nice day." He glanced at Bill, waiting to see how the boy would react, not expecting much to change.

<div align=center>William muttered something spiteful and struggled out of his jacket, dumping it heavily on Gabriel's lap and folding his arms huffily. He all at once felt very exposed and just a little uncomfortable, but at least he wasn't as hot. He sheepishly took the water bottle from Gabriel and unscrewed the cap, taking a tentative sip, before going for a slightly deeper one. The water wasn't in fact all that warm, and was still cool from when it had been filled up. The boy purred softly at the cool sensation that flooded over him for a brief moment. Though he took a second to remember that he was grumpy today, before screwing the cap back on and pushing the bottle back into Gabe's hand. "Hmf."

William was being completely childish, he never meant anything nasty he said to his boyfriend, it was usually just things to spite him and hurt him at the time while he was feeling grumpy. It never usually worked to make Gabriel upset, however, since he knew underneath that Bill didn't really ever mean anything that he said to him. Not anything mean, anyhow.

"Hmf. Shouldn't have said it then, should you?" He glanced sideways at the older man, frowning and scratching absently at a scab on the base of his wrist. He was evidently feeling pretty uncomfortable by now, but it was better for him than passing out from heat stroke, which inevitably would probably have happened. William wasn't very good at dealing with heat, he didn't really tend to drink enough either. God knew how easily he passed out, besides, even when there wasn't any heat involved.

The boy sighed audibly, unfolding his arms and dropping them into his lap, shifting ever so slightly so his legs were crossed up onto the bench. </div>

Even though William had been grumpy about it, Gabe was just glad the boy had taken it off. Bill would definitely have passed out sooner or later, he could almost see it happening. He was happy when his boyfriend started drinking some of the water, and as the water started to cool him down he could see Bill's mood lifting.

"There now isn't that better?" Gabe asked, folding Bill's jacket and leaving it down beside him. Unfortunately for Gabe the boy was too stubborn to give in that easily. When Bill shoved the bottle back into Gabe's hand , he unscrewed it again and had a sip, before putting the lid back on and putting the bottle into the backpack.

If it were a serious fight some of the things Bill said would most likely hurt Gabe, but for now he wasn't too affected by them as he realised it was just being said with intentions to hurt or annoy him. It was times when he wasn't sure if Bill meant what he said that the boy had the ability to hurt Gabe.

"No," Gabe admitted, "I shouldn't have said that. " He shifted a little in his seat. "But I didn't know you were going to misinterpret it either. " He blinked, "I didn't mean for it to sound nasty or anything. " He'd hoped it'd have got a smile but the opposite had happened.

<div align=center>William shook his head quickly, he was far too stubborn to admit defeat that easily. He was a placid boy, and sweet for the most part. But once his head got to somewhere like this, he was very unlikely to give in easily. He didn't like to lose. "Hmf. No." He mumbled, drawing his knees up into his chest and resting his chin on them. He didn't want to be here, but thinking about it he didn't really want to go home either. Gabriel and Bill had never really gotten into a serious fight, at least not one that might end up being dangerous.

William whimpered softly, glancing sideways to the older boy and frowning at him. "You're being mean to me." He muttered, hunching his shoulders, "you're gonna make me cry." His voice wavered a little as he spoke, though that was the only hint that he was going to follow through with what he was saying. "It did sound nasty. You're nasty you're horrible to me." He squeaked, resting his chin back onto his knees and scowling forwards again, most likely at the situation rather than anything else. William was no fun whatsoever when he was as grumpy as this.</div>
