Oh no!

Oren was currently fretting and working himself into a panic. Someone's first day of school is hard enough, but the poor faerie boy had also gone and lost his timetable before he'd even arrived in the school building. He had no idea which class he had first, and he was frantically looking around trying to see if there was anybody his age. He just needed to tag along after somebody for a while, until he could acquire another timetable. Oh dear I hope I'm not late...I don't wanna get detention. He'd learnt about detention last night while watching some crappy tv show. He was still amazed by his television set, it's like a box but it shows pictures. He shook his head, still finding it hard to believe.

While the teen was mulling over how televisions could possibly work, he didn't realise he was still walking and that was how he ended up smacking right into the middle of someone's chest. He jumped back instinctively, "sorry! " He squeaked, hoping they wouldn't be an ass about it.

Zero was just wondering around with her nose in a book. Her short boyish hair and her boyish clothes giving the impression she was a boy. Her cap sat low over her eyes so she was just focusing on her book until she felt a small force bump into her. She was still fairly new...only about a week or so herself. She heard a small eek of apology and closed the book putting it in her bag. "It's alright. It's partly my fault for having my nose stuck in a book." She replied her voice indifferent but not unkind her expression serious but also not unkind.

She looked at the boy for a bit before pulling out the timetable she found on her way to school. "Hey would this be yours?" She asked. "I found it just a bit away from the gates." She said noticing the boy seemed lost and confused. Sure she couldn't read minds but she did have detective abilities and enhanced senses she could easily tell.

Oren looked the person he had bumped into up and down, he was surprised to see that they had blue hair. While that probably wasn't unusual for most people, the faerie had never heard of hair dye before, and he hadn't known anyone that had naturally blue hair either. The teen regarded the book with some skepticism, aren't those things made from trees? He shuddered, if his tree got cut down and made into paper he'd be dead by now. What if someone else suffered that fate? He couldn't think like that anymore though, he reminded himself. He was going to have to get used to the strange ways of human beings if he was going to make a home here.

"Oh! Yeah that's mine," Oren nodded, taking the timetable off her with a smile. "Where did you find it? I can't believe I lost it..." He shook his head at himself. He wondered if this person would be able to show him around, "it says I've got something called math first? Do you know where I'm supposed to go?" He sighed, all the classrooms looked the same to him.

Zero looked around the halls. Once up and once down, once up and once down. She looked back at the boy. "Math is this way." She said leading him down the hall. She stopped outside of the classroom holding the door open for him. "Looks like we're in the same class." She said giving him one of her rare small smiles. "I'm Zero by the way." She said.

She went over to her desk and gestured for him to take the desk next to hers. She placed her cap in the corner of her desk, and as usual she got glares and stares and had whispers fly about her around the classroom. She was used to it by now.

"Oh, okay!" Oren chirped, and followed the girl down the corridor. He was glad he'd bumped into somebody friendly, at least now he was going to arrive to class on time. "Great," the faerie boy returned her smile. He nodded when she introduced herself, "it's nice to meet you, Zero. My name's Oren. " He began to feel a little panicky again when they entered the classroom, he hadn't realised there was going to be this many people. Where am I supposed to sit? He wondered, looking at the amount of desks.

Then the teen noticed that Zero was motioning to him to take a seat beside her. He smiled gratefully at her as he took it, not noticing the stares and glares that the girl was receiving from other classmates.
