As for what Gany wanted: "For now I just want the freedom to be in the same room as Sazz and talk to him. The obvious way would just be to talk to me about how doing that is okay, but I don't know if you have any other ideas." Who knew, maybe Monday had something that coukd cure him of these compulsions.

"That's good," Monday replied, relieved to hear the angel had been chastised for his words.

Hearing Gany's request, Monday began to wonder if he could alter the compulsion somehow to allow Gany more free will.

"Okay," Monday said as he sat back in his chair. "Ganymede, Sazz is a good person and you can visit him whenever you want and be in the same room as he is. Also..".

Monday then paused a moment and added. "From this moment forward, you'll have free will to decide when somebody compels you to do something," he stated calmly and with a hopeful look on his face as he said the words. Monday was not sure how well this would work, but it was worth a try.

Ganymede looked relieved when Monday said he could be around Sazz again. But this quickly turned to confusion at the next thing Monday said. Then, for a split second, hope - did Monday use magic on him? Was he really free? Was that true? Ganymede checked the magic around him. No, it looked like Monday was just taking a shot in the dark.

It was a nice thought at least.

Ganymede smiled at Monday and stood up and gave him a hug. "Thanks, Monday. I don't think that second thing will work, but thanks for trying it."

Monday was surprised, but pleasantly so, by Gany's unexpected hug and, without questioning why, quickly hugged him back.

"You're very welcome," Monday replied, touched, as he let Gany go. "You know, I've been thinking ... Sunday makes charms and wards. "

"If you wanted, she might be able to craft you something so that you can ward offs compulsion better," he explained.
