Hazel smirked. Yeah, she figured dwarf was something he was called. Something that she herself almost did.... "You are probably called dwarf cause of the hammer. Dwarves are usually associated with them, blacksmiths, and being greedy miners." The last one was because of some mythology, but that was neither here nor there.

Her face grew solemn for a second, listening to his response as she faced away from him. Of course his parents weren't around. It was a bit dumb of her to think otherwise, given he was wandering a random neighborhood by himself. But Hazel shook it off quickly, needing to focus.

She floated back in, with a plate of eggs and sausages. Omelet, with veggies. And of course some apple juice. She set the plate down, landing on the chair next to him. "I'm.... Sorry to hear that, Seven.... I know how it feels, not having your parents around at an age like yours." Hazel brushed his cheek with her hand. "Eh, sorry, I should let you focus on eating."

It was weird... She finds someone who looks similar to her family, and at a similar age has lost his family like she did. But, he seems to be handling it better. At the very least on the outside he is handling it better. The real question was what he was thinking on the inside....

Seven beamed at Hazel as she brought him the nice smelling plate of food to the table. At this point he was quite hungry and the fact that they were talking about who he was was, oddly enough, making him even more hungry. Of course, along with his hunger he started to feel a pang of sadness at the mention of his parents and it showed on his face for a couple seconds before he covered it up again with a smile.

When he felt Hazel's hand on his cheek he sighed. And then dug in afterward. He found the food good, really good. It reminded him more of a homemade taste that he hadn't had in a while. A tear traced down his cheek as he chewed. He gave a bright smile to Hazel

"It's a little lonely at times, but it's okay. I miss my family though..."

Hazel could feel the sorrow in Seven at the mention of his parents. She knew it because it was what she always felt when she talked about her parents. Maybe to a different degree, but none the less, it was still a prominent feeling.

There was a large pang in her chest. He seemed content with the eating, but she saw the tear go down his cheek. Seven was definitely acting a bit though. Maybe not always, but right now he was faking at least some of the happiness.

"Thanks, Seven..." Hazel brushed her hand against his face again, wiping the tear away. She knew what is was like, all to well. And she wanted to help. It would be a major change that she was definitely not ready for...But it might be good for Seven... "I.... I miss mine as well. It's not easy being alone, but you aren't. You will make friends, and.... I would like to extend my hand out. I'm still pretty young, but if you want, I'd like to be your family..."
