Now Neighbors: A Misunderstanding?

Zoe turned her head to look at Rosetta, they were more alike then first thought? Deciding not to push the topic right now she filed that knowledge back in her mind so she might be able to recall it with greater ease in the future. For now though something else that caught Zoe's attention was the mentioning of a job in private security. It hadn't really occurred to her until Rosetta had brought it up maybe Zoe could also tell Geo about it and they both could obtain a job to pay for things here on the island.

"That might be something I shall look into, it did not occur to me that one could look for a job as public Security." Zoe turned around and sat down on a chair that was near by while she waited for the clothes to finish. "Do you know where I could start looking? The faster I can finish this process the sooner I do not have to worry about my financial."

Zoe shrugged. "I would assume security would be closest to what I would have done before. It is either that or I join rouge elements and become an assassin for hire. But as my programming is very keen on this matter. I wish to not be breaking the laws of this world for my profession." Zoe's washer eventually made a little chiming sound let her know it was done. The process from washer to dryer was a simple matter and the dryer was going rather quickly.

"The news paper? I guess that would work... but wouldn't the local library have computers connected to the... internet. To be able to hunt for jobs as well? Though for some reason when I was looking for a job based on how other see my form it took me to a site to be a 'courtesan'... when I looked this word up I saw other women that wear..." Zoe motioned her hand up and down her form pointing out her mostly lack of clothing. "less than this. The sight suggested going to a place I went to before when undercover called Temptations... I am not sure if that might not be more appropriate for me."

"You are probably right. the laws here are... different. I've tried to learn the laws but they are sometimes... confusing." Zoe blinked as she recalled one of these rules that humans had made for themselves. "Such as apparantly in... Texas i think it's called. One cannot use a feather duster when dusting one's house. I could not find an adequate reason as to why it is in place." Zoe shook her head. Humans are weird as far as Zoe could research.

Rosetta also explained to the Android what the Courtesans actually did. Nodding her head side to side Zoe understood most of what the woman was saying. "I do not see how this would be unhealthy nor unsfe for me. I am able to killing most human with a single punch to the chest without hesitation if I am threatened and I cannot contract diseases. I do understand however that this... selling my body. Would be counter to my own desires." Zoe's eyes caught the faint flush on Rosetta's cheeks but she did not ask why she had an inrush of blood to her cheeks at the moment.

Thinking back on what she had said Zoe realized that she did indeed have desires that she would rather not have contradicted. Though as she did so Zoe perked up and wanted to ask this organic something that was troubleing the Android. "Tell me Rosetta, is it... strange for an organic... or I guess anyone... to collect stuffed animals?"

Zoe actually chuckled at those ridiculous laws. Humans certainly did come up with the most ridiculous laws for themselves. However when Rosetta said that she use to collect stuffed animals before or that she wanted to get them back... what did that mean. "You sound like you have become depressed. What do you mean by that you wanted to have them back? This would mean that you no longer have the collection..." Zoe actually began to sound worried for Rosetta's Collection.

However Zoe had also gone internally into her memory banks and began to hunt through the list of stuffed animals that she had with her. She hadn't been able to keep all of her precious collection but she did keep the vast majority of it with her. So it took about 5 seconds to get to the item she had on her list that might help Rosetta start things again. "About later, you said that you are going to take me to find more of this under wear. May I ask where we shall be looking? The place the person I had gone shopping with before had taken me took me to a store with three big red X's above the door and I am curious if that might be the same shop."

Zoe shook her head at what Rosetta was saying, why would ones parent try to attack their own offspring. Sure it happened a lot with mindless beasts in the wild. But Sentient life forms rarely tried to do so. Sure they would attack each other over worlds or ideals, but usually when one came across their own child or parent then things were so conflicted it tended to break most organic beings. "I... am sorry then. That is a great shame that your parents might do that. Though coming from me that I guess is ironic since I was attempting to kill my... I have been calling her Mother. But she is my Origin Programming. The one that my code is based off of and since they are female I am pretty sure Mother is the proper title to use here. When I was tasked with killing her though I did not know she was my mother the Corporation sealed that knowledge away from me..."

Deciding to leave that conversational topic there it seemed Rosetta was rather... flustered by where she had gone with Xandar to first acquire her clothing. "Fetish wears?..." Zoe's mind connected to the internet and looked up the definition of what a Fetish was. "Fetish: is an object believed to have supernatural powers, or in particular, a man-made object that has power over others... I do not understand what this would have to do with clothing."

"I have seen some of these other under garments, they do not breath like these can. My body's cooling processes are hindered when there is to much between my 'skin' and the air. Will we be able to find clothing that will be able to cool my body down while still being this 'less provocative' that you think is more appropriate?" Zoe was actually curious, if there were some better clothing than what she was wearing at the moment to help her cool down. Her processes sometimes became over taxed with to many people around and the last time she had a problem she had to look solely on Xandar so she didn't over heat.
