Schnyder sat in the lounge with a rather large book in his hands; or more correctly a grimoire... He looked closely at the texts and shapes; the different kinds of spells and enchantments it contained knowing that he probably wouldn't even want to try learning most of these; especially the nastier ones; he found them quite disgraceful and lacking in honor and pride as a wizard. But reguardless he took atleast some interest even in the ones he was less than fond of simply to understand them and in the event he be caught he might be able to disengage them. Schnyder didn't like to show it much but he had developed a great sence of pride in his sagacity and moreso in his Astromancy and Ethrealmancy as he found that compared to some other forms of magic and spellweaving they were quite neutral and merciful. Coming across a sacrificial ritual Schnyder sighed and closed the giant book twisting a knob on the cover and pulling on it making the grimoire lock itself before he popped the knob back in and sealed it with a simple crossed square and diamond mark until he was ready to read both some of the more enlightening practices and the ones that sickened him so...

Almost reeling he put the great piece of reading material underneath his right arm using the hand to hold a firm grip apon the spine. Sometimes he wondered why he had chosen this book to check out from the library; sometimes he wanted to burn it; othertimes he found something graceful and interesting and he wished it was his piece of scripture. Normally this was a teacher's book for classes built around defending one's self against treacherous magics and surviving to see the battle through however for Schnyder it had a more important meaning to study. He used this book to balance his Astromancy and Ethrealmancy; to obtain a much deeper level of control over them and a much deeper depth within each use but still enough he had a long way to go before he was done with these scriptures; each page gave him a better understanding of exactly how he could use his technique and made him wonder where he really came from and what exactly he really was. Each page also made him feel more in touch with his technique. Though he rarely used it in public he practiced vigorously in his privacy to understand it more rather than just learning geometry and drawing more shapes; stars and markings but the core creation; execution and disarming of it.

Water sprang from the fountain as the maroon eyed boy got a drink of water returning to his seat and taking a deep sigh before looking at the grooves in the ceiling almost smiling. He didn't know who he was; where he came from; and how he could do what he did but oddly enough he was content... happy even that he could enjoy learning this type of sagacity and wisdom in a safe environment where his appearence didn't scare people and for as seldom as anyone every would see his technique noone would try to analyze or even care about it... In truth he had become almost comfortable here.

Connor ambled slowly down the hall. She didn't have much to do, besides study for homework. But she was really tired. She'd stayed up late working on homework, and she'd woken up early too. Needless to say, her brain was half dead; her imagination completely depleted. Meaning she wasn't about to imagine anything up, meaning that she really did have literally nothing to do.

She wandered into the lounge, hoping that if nothing else, she could stare into space or fry her brain on TV or something. And if she was very lucky, there would be someone interesting to talk to that didn't care alot about the intelligence of their conversation partner. Evidently, she was very bored. She hated talking to people usually.

She saw a boy getting a drink from a water fountain. Well, he looked interesting enough, but she couldn't very well run over and talk to him, so she walked over to one of the seats and curled up on it. She realized how much she missed her little brother, but she couldn't really go see him today. It took imagination to go places or to bring him there, and she didn't have enough to even try. She leaned her head on her hand and sighed softly.

Schnyder watched as a young lady sat near him; she seemed distraut; stupified even; tired. Schnyder thought for a moment trying to decide if he should do or say anything to her; he began to think rubbing his chin with his free hand. Schnyder removed his glasses carefully putting them in his coat pocket taking a moment to gather his thoughts. Without saying a word Schnyder popped his knuckles and put his hands on his kneecaps; lifting his right index finger to stick from a 180 degree angle from his palm and then began to slightly move it. A small white line appeared above the girls head and then halted at the other side across her head coming to form a triangle before another triangle formed and then was ringed by a white circle; in no way glowing but lingering as the boy made no real sound with his voice but instead mouthed out a chant to keep his mind focused; ending each line in perfect sync with the lines of the hexagram (6 point star)
"Element of earth
Opposite of Cancer
Cardinal quality
Challenge of Libra and Ares
Affinity with Taurus and Virgo
Saturn give it's blessing
"
As the ring formed he mouthed out
"Capricorn"

In the open space of the Hexagram appeared the symbole for the astrological sign Capricorn

Then all at once the halo-eque object dissapeared and the Ethrealmancy began to work it's ways; Schnyder made a specific point to use the word blessing so that his mind would not create a Capricorn circle to dull the mind... No this was an Ethrealmancy technique created to sharpen the mind and make one more aware. Schnyder decided to do this because she would not see it with the position her body was put in; he then took a deep sigh making sure noone else so him using Ethrealmancy.
