Food Festival
Celebrated on the first weekend of November, this is an island-only holiday, celebrating the foods of all cultures. Various cultural groups come together to present their own culture's food, setting up stalls throughout Oceania Park. There are a number of cooking demonstrations, and winning stalls are awarded the honor of catering the Pirate's Feast the following weekend.
Pirates' Feast
Celebrated on the second weekend of November, this holiday is an island-only celebration of the arrival of the first pirates to arrive on the island. This is primarily celebrated with a large feast held in city hall, catered by the winners of the Food Festival. The food being provided changes each year, leading to a huge amount of variety.
Carpe Noctem
The second weekend of November boasts a significant event for the people of Manta Carlos. Carpe Noctem is a bonfire festival held in a clearing in the forest. This night is said to be one where the walls between the realms of the living and the dead are especially thin. Many come to mourn and remember loved ones, and most who visit claim to see the faces of their dearly departed in the flames of the central fire.
Virtual Reality Alternate Universe Simulator: Great Train Heist
This is a Virtual Reality Alternate Universe ICC event. It will run twice, once on Saturday November 24 and once on Sunday November 25. One day will have the Marshals, and one day will have the Outlaws. You can see the calendar post here. Watch for the signup thread coming soon.
