Nothing Better Than A Time In The Park, Right?

James had the day off from his day job. He worked at a coffee shop not too far from the park and saw and he did like it quite the amount since it was a fairly easy job that he could make a living from without too much hard work. He was still fairly new to the island so he wasn't really used to all the abnormal humans that had lived here for so long. Not to mention he was probably one of the only immortal ones for miles. Well at least partially immortal.

The day had started off pretty well for him and probably a lot of others given the way the weather was this morning and all the way up until this very moment. It was, and still is, sunny with a light overcast. The The overcast wasn't enough to keep the sun off of your skin and heating you up but that's what the ever so gentle breeze was there for. It caressed the skin of everyone in it's path and had no problem lightening the load that the sun was putting on the body of every being and organism who fell vulnerable to it's harmful rays. The breeze was just enough to move your hair from your face but not enough to make you uncomfortable for even the slightest reason, unless you were simply just a kill joy and had no other purpose in life but to be such a person. James was enjoying the day to its fullest extent in the hope of relaxing. He decided to refrain from cutting his hair for a while so that he could remember what it was like to have long hair. It was long enough to reach to his nose though he kept it out of hiss face. The wind made sure it stayed away as well.

James had made his way to the island's park early this morning and had been there ever since. Its about 1:20 PM now. The sun was at it's peak in the sky and brightened up everything under it. Sitting on a bench in the middle of the park, James held his head back and relaxed his body. He was off to the side in case anyone wanted to sit on the same bench, which was made to fit at least 2 people. His right arm was on the edge of the arm rest. His eyes held its closed position. It was a little harder for James to relax since his ears were slightly better than a humans. He could hear a lot more but not enough to benefit him like super hearing powers or what not. He was just able to hear things a little louder. Nonetheless, he tried his best to stay in his position without falter or disturbance.

There is a pretty plenty of people in the park. Each person holding their own activity, either with a companion or alone. Bike riding, walking, listening to music, jogging, relaxing, walking pets, etc. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves, with or without a person to be with. James had hoped to meet more people now that he was settled in fully to the island. He had to get used to the people here one way or another, right? Even though, he still had a bad feeling, in both his chest and head, that something was going to go wrong today. Discarding the reoccurring thought from his head, he tried to keep his positive attitude and relaxing day at it's peak.
