Not the best way to spend a day

Chad rushed the Hospital doors. He was sweating un controllably. Chad kept looking down at Mandy. There was no receptioness at the front desk, only a silver bell. Chad smashed his hand down on it to the point that it broken.

A lady came rushing in. ''What do you want sir! I have a knocked out friend here. A vent fell on her leg. She told me she think it's broken..."

Mandy heard Chad speak to the woman,then attendants placed her on a bed.
Mandy looked up at Chad through worried eyes.

But suddenly Chad was gone.

"Chad, I can't feel it...." Mandy moaned, turning her head to look at Chad only to find that he wasn't there.


"God, help me!!!" Mandy said as one of the attendants put a mask on her. Then everything went black.

As the guards began holding back Chad he heard Mandy's cry. ''Im still here...but they want let me in! Listen sir I need to get in there''! The guard called down two more guards. ''I dont think so sir''!

The two guards carried Chad out. ''Wait, I just need to see here. Get of me''!

Chad threw the two men of him. Then they told him either the waiting romm out you out!

Chad yanked the guards arm off of him. He headed to the waiting room.

Mandy woke slowly, even though she kept her eyes closed, her eyes felt like a heavy weight was keeping them down. She felt like she got ran over by a bus or something really heavy.
But all of a sudden Mandy remembered what happened. The vent... it collapsed. I think it landed on me. Chad!!!
Mandy suddenly tried to sit upright but was pushed down by a firm hand.

“I…” Mandy tried to speak but couldn’t for the dryness in her throat.

While Chad was sitting down waiting un patiently a man came in rushing saying ''Chad Jackson...any Chad Jackson here. Me sir that'll be me. Well your friend does appear to have a spranged ankle. She doesn't need a cast but she'll have to limp when she walks. Do you have any medicine here?

Yes but im afraid to ask you to leave because you cant stay here. Why not! Sir please we dont want any trouble. Then let me stay. Sorry but no, you can say goodbye.

Why do I need to say goodbye....did something happen to her. No, were only going to allow you in this time and when she's out''. Chad walked in the room angry as can be. As soon as he saw Mandy in the bed he rushed over to her. ''Are you okay''?

Mandy was woken by the sound of footsteps, but kept her eyes closed.

When she heard Chad's voice, her eyes shot open.

Are you okay?

"Yeah, I guess." Mandy said her eyes closing in pain.

"I hope that I get to leave soon," She said sadly, "So many bad memories...."

Mandy's head turned away from Chad for a moment, then wipped back around.

"Youre not hurt are you?" Mandy said, picking at imaginary lint on her blanket.
