"Feel I could learn a thing or two from you about being sassy."
The smile stayed on his face as they shook hands. Fe was far from a shy one, and that much was obvious by how blatantly she had checked him out.
After the handshake, Stefan's hand moved to the back of his neck and rubbed it a bit as his demeanor seemed to change a little, the laid back boyish attitude coming out a little more.
"It's.... different. I'm in a whole new world. Casually joking and chatting with stars. Luckily haven't really had people recognizing me yet."
His lopsided smile came out again. Man he really could lay it on thick when he wanted to, and still looked and felt natural.

"Sassiness often has a lot to do with cheekiness and wit, and a lot to do with not being afraid of what others think," Fe told Stefan with a wide grin.

Listening to Stefan as he told her how he was doing, Fe shook her head at his concerns when he was finished.

"We, the almighty popular ones," Fe joked. "Are only people whose natural glamour is focussed to outshines others," she pointed out. "And you know what glamour is, right?"

"It's that facade that we all hide behind so that others only see the parts of us we want them to see."

Stefan listened to her words and considered them. He agreed with a lot of it but also found himself disagreeing. The part disagreeing was his mother scoffing at the idea of not being who you are as that was the most beautiful part of a person. But this was different.
"It's still very new. It was similar to being back home and seeing Thor walk in for the first time. Granted...I leaned he's a dick but it was still new and took some adjusting at first."
Stefan talked very casual. A smooth smile on his face. Spending years with gods was similar to being around celebrities, except these celebrities could ruin his career.

"Well, if it helps at all, just remember that some of us here, like your gods, are also huge dicks," Fe joked with a wicked grin.

"Joking aside, Wondeeville is still small compared to most labels, and if you need help or anything most of us would be willing to show you the ropes," she told him as she shifted her handbag to the other shoulder.

"I appreciate the advice and offer for sure."
Stefan's lopsided grin popped out once more. He did have some questions but he wasn't sure exactly how to ask them. Finally figuring the best way would to just be blunt about it he turned to Conrad and thanked him for the help and that he was going to take a break for a bit.
Once he had left the booth, Stefan looked back to Fe and sighed a bit trying to find the words.
"Don't really know how to ask this, but what I really need help with is that facade you talked about. I know I gotta find a niche to project. Just being talented and attractive isn't the only thing you need."

Fe looked sideways at Stefan as they walked down the hall with a rather smug I-called-it look on her face.

However, Fe didn't rub it in. She just liked the validation of knowing that she had been right in her personal assessment of Stefan.

"A facade is not that hard to create..." she said as her heels clicked on the linoleum. "You just need to figure out what you want people to see or perceive you as."

"Do you want to be that edgy singer that gets all the girls," here she looked sideways at him and winked. "Or do you want to be some extension of yourself... like the handsome but wholesome singer that volunteers at food kitchens."

Stefan thought for a moment as his strides kept pace with her. Even while getting advice, he moved and held himself with a sense of confidence that seemed almost welcoming and friendly.
"I mean, all that sounds good."
His boyish grin played out on his face before he continued.
"I really don't know. I only know how to be me, and don't even know how to describe that. I just kinda go with things."
It was very obvious at this point that Stefan was very new to this type of dealing. He had performed and given small shows before but never had he needed to brand himself and then push that brand.

Fe nodded as Stefan talked. She knew what he meant about only being himself. She was also kinda the same as always, maybe a bit more exaggerated and flamboyant on stage. However, she also instinctively knew there were some major differences between her and Stefan.

"I get that you wanna be yourself on stage and all that," Fe started. "And I took that route myself. However, in real life, I am a sassy bitch who thrives on attention," she told him openly and unapologetically.

"You, I feel, are neither sassy, bitchy, or deliberately attention-seeking," she stated as she flipped her hair a little as they walked.

"And because you are a genuinely nice person... " here Fe smiled warmly at Stefan. "I'd suggest you find a way to place a barrier between you and stage you, cause if not, you are gonna burn out fast like a comet on reentry."

Her logic was sound yet again, but that only made sense from someone who had been dealing with this for a while. Stefan made sure to take in everything she said, and also picked up that she liked being right.
"You got experience with this. You've also heard my work and seen me a little, so what would you suggest for stage me?"
Stefan knew his stage presence was there. He could rile a crowd up while singing and playing, but what about between songs? How about after performing and meeting fans? This was what he needed to develop before he was out on stage next.

"It's true, I have seen you perform," Fe admitted thoughtfully as she glanced sideways at Stefan. "You like things up and close, even personal... Though many guitar solo singers do," she remarked casually as she considered what things he might do to place some space between himself and his fans.

"Maybe next time, move back a little from the audience and sit on a high bar-type stool when you are doing ballads," she suggested. "Bright lights also help, even if it's just a spotlight on you in a dark room," she said, thinking about techniques she used herself.

"It creates a sense of you versus them, that you are special, and not a sense of you, just strumming along with a group of friends."
