"I-I w-will. Th-thank you."
Charlie said that, but she wasn't sure what she would do if the bullying did get worse. Would she be able to tell anyone, much less Eein?
Charlie kept her eyes down on her own legs and the grass, ripping glass blades off the ground and fidgeting with them. The self-conscious feeling she had wasn't going away, and when Eein spoke to her the next time Charlie looked at her, yet again surprised by his thoughtfulness. Charlie wasn't used to being treated this nicely. She suspected that Eein felt this was his duty, since Charlie was his ex's little sister. That made Charlie feel bit less self-conscious, and the blush on her cheeks died down.
"I-I do-don't...B-but a-are you o-okay wi-with wa-walking me ho-home? Si-since, um...J-Jazz is pro-probably th-there..."
Charlie looked a bit concerned as she finished her sentence, her sister had a new boyfriend now, but she knew that the breakup had been a bit tough on her. She didn't know how Eein had taken it, Charlie didn't know much about relationships and thus couldn't guess or speculate either.
