Appearance Description: Noor is a person that stands out in a crowd. She is around 5’6’’, and her most striking feature is her long, natural straight white-blonde hair. She is asian in appearance and features, with a slim body, and a light skin tone. She seems to be of mixed racial descent, but whether this is true or not is unknown. She is a bit gangly in stature, with thin arms and legs but rather large hands and feet. She can usually be seen wearing muted colors, and likes to dress up often. Her way of moving is graceful and with purpose, as if every action was planned ahead of time and choreographed to the second. Noor also tends to prolong eye contact with others, which may be uncomfortable.
Personality Description: Noor is a bit of a tough egg to crack. She is constantly switching between personas and it is hard to find her being genuine with literally anyone. She is an actress at heart, and her powers and college major are a testament to that. She is manipulative in order to make things easier for herself, will usually not introduce herself to a person unless she knows a bit about them, via the rumor mill or her own investigating. She takes time and dedicates herself to becoming whatever a certain person likes in another. If one is bubbly, she will also be so, and if one is easily annoyed, she will change herself to be on that individual’s good side. Some can see through the facade, but it takes some time around Noor to realise it. She is not inherently a bad person, persay, as she does not want to really harm others, but on the inside, Noor feels very little for the people around her. She has been through so many lives that her current one does not hold much of a meaning. Her “true self” is a bit selfish, and somewhat nihilistic. The reason she tries to be on good terms with others is to test her own abilities as an actress. She has a lot of regrets, and deep down is wracked with guilt. These feelings are easily pushed away at the idea of a new person to toy with; a new scene to act out.
Powers: Metempsychosis- With the ability to swap conscious minds with other people, Noor can effectively “switch bodies” with another person. This ability much be started by physical contact of the other person, and takes only a few seconds. She carries her own memories, emotions, and mental abilities, and does not gain anything from the other person except their physical body. The side effects of his power are rather unfortunate, however. Noor cannot switch back, and once she has transferred consciousnesses, she cannot return to her original body. Noor never learned how to properly control her powers, and as a result, sometimes when swapping bodies, the other person’s mind will be lost, leaving Noor and the braindead body she once possessed. She believes this happens when she is stressed or not concentrating, but nothing is confirmed as of yet. She has no desire to switch bodies with other people for a long time, and this power can only be utilised on another's character with explicit permission.
Biography: Noor’s past is a bit muddy, as it is so long and arduous that she cannot remember all of it. She cannot even recall what her true gender was, and if Noor is even her real name. Originally, she was of Arabic decent, and lived in the Middle East in the early 1900s. She lived the quiet life of a merchant’s child, until her powers manifested around the age of 13. She was playing with some friends in her house, when suddenly she touched her friend’s hand, and her perspective was different. At first, it was a funny joke, until the two realised they could not switch back. In a panic, they went to their parents. When their pleas for help were written off as childish nonsense, the two were forced to live each others’ lives. Over time, Noor grew into an adult, and was set up in an arranged marriage. She detested the idea of a forced marriage, and switched bodies with a random person passing by in the street. The cycle of living other peoples’ lives continued for a long time, over the course of around 40 collective years. Noor found herself in America, now in the body of a young man. She had became bored with the world, and decided to entertain herself by switching bodies in rapid succession while in the crowded streets of New York city. After a significant amount of transfers, Noor turned to see several bodies she had previously inhabited collapsed on the pavement. She realised, with shock, that there were very real and dangerous consequences to her powers. Scared to switch again, she lived out the lives of several people until old age, and didn’t move into a new body unless necessary. At one point, she came across a group who told her she had to stop, and brought her to The Academy for a proper life. She took on the last name of Summers, and has traveled to the academy to attempt to accept what she has as it is.
