Noel sat by the lake. No one seemed to understand her...not since she'd lost her voice. It was so frustrating! Not being able to talk to anyone...arg!!
Marc walked by the lake noticing a girl who seemed very upset... He walked over... "Hi." He had given care not to read people's minds that didn't want it...
Noel looked up at the guy. She couldn't say 'hi' back, so she just waved and smiled. He must think I'm some sort of stupid kid, she thought. But she appreciated the guesture.
He frowned lightly picking up on her thoughts but not quite understanding why she thought he'd think she was stupid... "what's wrong? Something bohering you?"
Marc laughed lightly a little... "Well you got yourself into a predictament... Why can't you talk what happened if it's alright I'll read the answer in your mind if it's okay. You see you thought a little loud that time so I picked it up without trying to... I can read minds.."
