Today Jii and her big sister Ria were visiting for a playdate. Aehru Henghai insisted on it. That Arjean needed more friends and that Jii was in a rough place too. The only reason Arjean went along was that Junchi was downright excited to have a playdate. Junchi's happiness was Arjean's happiness. Even if they wanted to scream, cry, and break something.
Aia Anrong was on watching duty while Aehru Henghai gave Ria parenting advice while eating. In the meantime, the kids were out in the garden, with Junchi give a long explanation on every plant in the garden. Arjean stuck close by Junchi, giving Jii a wary stare. They were like a guard dog. One that hid behind their owner with their tail between their legs.
This was so exciting! Too exciting. So exciting that Junchi's head felt light that any moment he would fall over. Or maybe any moment he would pick up the tiny Jii and twirl her, but he knew better. What to do first? What to do first?
The garden, of course! Junchi showed off all the plants they had. Flowers, fruits, vegetables, bushes, trees. All kinds of plants. He took an apple from an apple tree and gave it to Jii like it was a gift. "Do you like apples? Our apples are really really good! We grow them allllllll by ourselves with our magic and garden skills."
