No Powers

Ian sat on a bench looking around at some of the people who were around the lake using all their powers. He saw two kids shooting some thign at each other and another two looked like they were using their powers to fight each other for fun. Ian noticed a lot of people with powers. He didn't have powers, ro at least none he knew of. He looked down at his hands and flexed his fingers trying to make something happened but nothing...

Ian sighed and watched the other people use their powers, but didn't let it get to him. He decided he'd try to get his mind off the subject so he looked put his hands in his pockets and looked up at the sky.

Maria walked by and saw some boy sitting and looking sad. "Hey. Do you mind if I join you?" She asked.

Ian moved over a little bit making room for her, "No, i don't mind at all." said Ian as he looked down from the sky to the girl.

"Thanks. You don't look to happy. Do you mind if I ask what is wrong?" Maria asked.

"Well." said Ian, "All these people here are running around using their fancy powers and stuff, and I'm sitting here with no powers at all." Ian shrugged.

As Stephanie was walking by the lake, she saw a guy and a girl sitting by the lake, talking. She was alittle lonely and new herself, so she decided to ask if she ould join them
"Hi," said Stephanie, "Mind if I join you all? I'm Stephanie. Stephanie Choi." she liked to make a first impression, and she beamed at herself for making such a good one. At least...thats what she thought.

Ian turned to the girl who had just adressed them. "hello." he said with a smile, "I'm Ian," he said as he turned to maria as to give her a chance to introduce herself.

"Hi! My name is Maria." She then addressed Ian. "Well. I don't have any powers either. I wonder why we are here." She said thoughtfully.

"Do people keep asking you why your here?" he asked, "because everytime I mention it someone asks why Im at this school then.' he said.

"No not really. I tell them that my powers are my emotions. Really lame but they don't really care." Maria said. "I don't see my frinds anymore. They have disapered."
