Jass sat on the stairs, about half way down, he held a book in his lap that caught all of his interest, turning page after page as he read, his long black hair fell about his face, his light hair scanning the pages. The ballroom was light, but outside evening was falling, the sky was turning orange, and the light that seeped through the windows made the ballroom look quick beautiful
On the dancing floor was Hallow, her high heeled boots clinked lightly on the floor as she walked around the larger room. Her black skirt flowed about her ankles as she walked, tapping a pen against the side of her head, mumbling unrecognizable words under her breath before sighing in frustration, and tossing the pen to the ground. She folded her arms, and turned to look at Jastere who was still sitting there reading. How annoying. She narrowed her silvery gray eyes.
She stopped down and picked up her pen again and walked towards the stairs and slowly walked up them til she was a couple steps below her twin brother.
"It wouldn't kill you to help me." Halloween growled, annoyed. Her brother looked up at her, and frowned, before letting a smile flash over his face.
"Help you? Its your own story your working on. I can't help with that." He said, leaning back, brushing his long hair out of his face.
"Agh." She groaned. Turning on her heel and walking back down the stairs to resume her walk about the room.
