Jass sat on the stairs, about half way down, he held a book in his lap that caught all of his interest, turning page after page as he read, his long black hair fell about his face, his light hair scanning the pages. The ballroom was light, but outside evening was falling, the sky was turning orange, and the light that seeped through the windows made the ballroom look quick beautiful

On the dancing floor was Hallow, her high heeled boots clinked lightly on the floor as she walked around the larger room. Her black skirt flowed about her ankles as she walked, tapping a pen against the side of her head, mumbling unrecognizable words under her breath before sighing in frustration, and tossing the pen to the ground. She folded her arms, and turned to look at Jastere who was still sitting there reading. How annoying. She narrowed her silvery gray eyes.

She stopped down and picked up her pen again and walked towards the stairs and slowly walked up them til she was a couple steps below her twin brother.

"It wouldn't kill you to help me." Halloween growled, annoyed. Her brother looked up at her, and frowned, before letting a smile flash over his face.

"Help you? Its your own story your working on. I can't help with that." He said, leaning back, brushing his long hair out of his face.

"Agh." She groaned. Turning on her heel and walking back down the stairs to resume her walk about the room.

Sileny walked slowly into the ballroom, eager to meet new people. She saw a girl and a boy, with obvious similarities. Twins, she guessed to herself. She hurried over, and stopped in the center of the floor, smiling broadly. She waited for a moment, then said, "Hello! My name is Siley, or Sil. What are your names?" Her voice was still slightly British due to the fact that that was the last place she'd projected to. She laughed internally, she believed they would probably think that she was some crazy British girl.

She twirled gleefully in the center of the ballroom. She loved to dance! She hadn't even realized that there was a ballroom here, but if she had, she would have been here much sooner. Again, she had to laugh internally because despite loving to dance, she could not actually hear music. When she projected herself, she could, so she would usually go to a lot of clubs and dances when she was projecting, just to get the experience.

"Hello! My name is Siley, or Sil. What are your names?"

Hallow jumped startled, she had been completely taken by surprise and clasped a hand over her mouth to keep herself from nearly screaming from the girl. How dare she just appear there and act so chirpy about it. Hallow whirled around, glaring hard at the girl for a a few moments. Ugh, no wonder. She's a blond. Hallow thought darkly. She grind her teeth, a bit to angry to answer, but luckily Jass finally decided he should interfere Hallow from giving the girl her death glare.

He stood up and walked down the stairs and tugged on Hallow's arm, pulling her away from the smaller girl. He smiled, much more friendly then how Hallow was, who was still fuming.

"Hi. I'm Jastere, call me Jass though. And this is my sister, Hallow." He gestured to Hallow, who shot a glare at Jass.

"Halloween." She corrected grumpily.

"Hi Jass! Hi Hallow..een.." she said while grinning the whole time. They hadn't realized she couldn't hear and she definitely wasn't planning on telling them straight up. She looked around the room for a few moments, completely unaware of having scared Halloween, and also making Halloween so angry. She just smiled and looked around happily.

She noticed the book that Jass had been reading so she turned to him. "What book is that?" she asked quickly. She peered over to try to read the title, but she couldn't so she gave up. She went back to looking around the room quietly, waiting for the response. She would take breaks from looking around the room in order to face their mouths so she could see when they replied.

Jass stared at Sil, and wondered how she could be so.... happy seeming all the time. He cocked his head to the side, curious as to why, but pushed that aside for now. He glanced down at the book he held in his hand and held it up, one finger was in the nook, marking his place.

"Its called Interview with a Vampire, by Anne Rice. Good book." He side. The spine was worn, along with the pages, some were even torn, it indicated that he must have read it a lot. After all, he did have a odd love for vampires, just like his sister. He stuffed his free hand in his pocket to his black pants, and looked at Sil again, before looking towards one of the large windows.

"Do you like reading, Sil?" He asked, jsut to keep some form of conversation going, and to practice his social skills some at least, which he was never very good at.
