Nina was a small girl, looking no older then thirteen or twelve but in reality she older then just that. She was use to being thought of as a child and it was past the point of where she found it annoying.. she was now just dealing with it.. the same way she was dealing with what was inside her. “Bad Nina” and “Good Nina” were always fighting for control over her. It was strange knowing that there was another person just waiting to come out of her.. actually two people inside of her to be precise. “Normal” Nina often had to fight for control.. to stay conscience but there was nothing really that could be done. Nina was finally starting to understand this or at least she was trying to.

The small teenage girl bit her lip as she sat up in a tree with a book in her hand.. she wasn’t paying much attention to the book though.. she looked down at the view from the bottom. She wasn’t high up.. Nina was too afraid of climbing any higher.. but she was high enough so that no one would spot her from ground distance. Nina avoided human interaction by all means possible.. it was her fear of “bad Nina” coming out that made her so unsociable. She just didn’t want anything she’d regret to happen.. it was best that she stayed by herself.. Sometimes it made Nina extremely lonely but how could that be helped? The last time “bad Nina” came out something terrible happened.. Nina couldn’t let it happen again. Not that she’d remember anyway… once “Bad Nina” or “Good Nina” came over her.. she couldn’t remember a thing.. I suppose it was a blessing and a curse. To forget all bad things so easily… it must be a blessing.. right?

The trees near Nina began swaying violently as powerful blasts of wind collided with the trees. A winged humanoid landed near the tree. It had draconic looking wings and slit eyes like a cat...or dragon. It looked up at her as its wings disappeared and its eyes reverted into blood red pupils like its hair. The being was male, although he did have a feminine face and creamy white skin. The boy looked up at Nina and with a demonic chuckle he said,"My my you bite-size human, what are you doing in a tree?" he queried. The boy smiled like an Archdevil as it watched something living being torn apart. "I am Akriloth" he stated. This human was odd,it seemed pubescent but from the pheromones it was releasing from its body, she was older than that. It intrigued the dragon as he tilted his head while staring at the girl with his bloody red orbs. Compared to him, this human was horrifically tiny. He chuckled yet again,he found it somewhat cute. He really wished this brat had chose a better place to sit. The scents that drifted from all around sickened him, decaying fish from the stupid lake and the birds from the nearby mountains smelled no better. Unluckily for this little girl,he was already getting mad. For her sake she better not try to make him any angrier.

I suppose her “hiding spot” wasn’t as good as she thought. Nina took on a frighten face as she bit on her lip slightly harder. She so desperately tried to find a place where no one would see her and… well that was blown. Nina’s bright pale blue as continued to stare at the figure talking.. Nina twitched at the words “bite-size”. Oh how kind and sweet… he was stating the obvious. Yes she was in fact tiny.. No she did not like being called “bite size” but what could she do? Nina could never risk “bad Nina” coming out so she shunned away thoughts of actually saying something about that comment.

She blinked, still intensely staring. “I was hiding.” She said quietly and as simply as possible. It was true.. “I-I-I’m Nina-Kai.” She introduced herself, in another soft spoken tone. Nina could hardly help her shyness and her easily frighten nature. It was far too apart of her. Something she had always been since she was young.

Akriloth laughed at the little girl and her timid ways. "You need to speak up human,I am not as young as I once was" he lied. Age has liitle to do with a Dragon's senses. He honestly didn't like shy beings,he found them amusing, but hey weren't fun to converse with. Not even eating them is as entertaining. At least this girl hadn't said something she would have regretted, his recent experiences with her kind showed him that humans these days have no respect for greater beings such as himself. "Why were you hiding? Afraid a wolf would eat you?" he teased. Playing with humans was indeed very amusing. Each one differed greatly, their emotions usually made fools out of them, unlike dragons they couldn't live for centuries to master their emotions and abilities.

The small figured girl with blond and pink hair began to climb down from the tree. She leaned against the tree and looked down at her feet for a moment. “Sorry.” She said, apologizing for not talking loud enough. Nina said sorry far too much in her lifetime, once again it was something that couldn’t be helped. If Nina wasn’t like this.. well that meant she wasn’t normal Nina anymore. It definitely meant that good or bad Nina had taken over somehow.

The seventeen year old girl shook her head as she lifted her gaze up at him again. “No that’s… that’s not it..” She said, this time actually making an effort to talk louder. “I just didn’t want… anyone to see me.” Nina said, trying to explain but she couldn’t really think of the right words. “I was afraid that the other… the other me inside.. would do something bad.” The small girl said, how could he possible understand? No one could really.. not her brother or sisters.. because of her.. her sister's were dead. In fact Nina-Kai was officially a killer. Of course not that one could tell by looking at her. Her looks were opposite of what you would think a killer would look like. She was small, cute, adorable looking even... she didn't really have the whole killer profile going on for her. But then I guess that's a good thing right..
