Nightmares

Izzy walked in the forest. It was very peaceful at night. The moon was shining, and Isabelle looked up to the sky. She had one thing on her mind and it was the nightmares she was having, she didn‘t know why she kept on dreaming it. Every night it was the same.

Arek was walking in the woods when he noticed a young woman doing the same. He decided to go talk to her.

Isabelle didn't know someone came up to her. She turned around little startled, "Oh, hi." She said, wondering how long he had been standing there. Isabelle pushed all thought of her nightmares away.

"Sorry if I startled you. I didn't mean to." he said to her. "I'm not sure if we've met. I'm Arek." he said holding out his hand.

Token traveled through the tree tops, not yet used to civilized life. He was happier in the forest than in some stuffy room, with scientists poking at him. Suddenly, he heard voices close by, canine ears perking. Bare feet silent over the slightly frozen branches, Token was hanging above everyone before you could say 'holiday spirit'.

He hung down upside down, his head swinging into view. He grinned mischeviously, revealing fangs more canine than human. He wore a red and black striped t-shirt, loose, and baggy blue-jeans.

"I'm..." She paused listening to the sounds of the forest. She thought she heard something she wasn't sure. "I'm Isabelle, call me Izzy and I don't think we have met before.." She said to him.

"Well, that saves me the embarrasment of forgetting your name. I'm terrible with names. So, Izzy what are you doing out here?" he asked, suddenly realizing she was in the forest alone... at night.

"I was thinking..." Isabelle said her voice trailing off, she didn't feel like she was alone anymore. She always had feelings like she was being watched or something and usually she was right about the feelings. "You?"
