Violeta could feel the anger and aggression boiling out of Tomo. Honestly she was thinking it was probably good that she had left Tomo to carry her sister. It would probably help keep her from losing control and lashing out at people too much on their way out. Violeta couldn't help but begin giggling a little bit with all the emotions in the air.

With the two siblings properly earplugged up Vi readied herself to physically shove an open path through the crowd and cleared her throat. This song wasn't like her usual fare. Normally she chose to sing things with a very soothing sound and sometimes almost ethereal. This was her same feminine voice but it came out extremely loud and raged with anger. Instead of making everyone angry though, she had latched on to the fear coming from Shiro and was spreading it like ripples in a dark pond throughout the crowd. As each person heard her song of fire and destruction they felt a little pocket of sheer terror well up inside them. Some people might have been resistant to such effects but the vast majority had no choice but to feel this fear.

People began to look around with wide eyes and as soon as Violeta could tell the effect was working she began shoving and flinging people out of the way. She was being careful not to hurt anyone too badly, mostly, though there would be plenty of people with bruises the next morning. Served them right for partying with people that would allow a 14 year old in without questioning it. She never let up her song until all three of them were safely out and away from the crowd.

Outside in the street Violeta stumbled a little and leaned her back against the wall next to Shiro, gently patting her on the back with one hand as she removed her own earplugs. Her head was still spinning from the sheer amount of emotions she had been feeding on and even still her eyes remained glazed over as she tried to come down from the feeding. Which wasn't exactly possible due to the emotions being given off by Tomo and Shiro but they at least were less overwhelming.

Vi turned to them with an uncontrolled grin still on her face. "I'm glad youuu texted us Shiro. Why.... were you even here?" Her voice had a bit of a floaty quality to it as she struggled a little bit to stay focused. "I'm sorry, I don't remem- remember right now if i've met you but are you Shiro's sister?" She asked Tomomi as she tried to stifle a little bit of a giggle.

Though carrying Shiro seriously hurt Tomo's aching back, limbs and chest she never showed it on her face. Hell, she didn't even feel the pain properly through her anger and adrenaline and worry. She didn't even have the energy or concentration to wonder what the purple haired chick did. All Tomo cared about was getting Shiro out of this shithole. So when the purple chick sang or something, and seemed to vause a weird reaction in the crowd, Tomo just followed after her when she started basically throwing people out of the way. Somewhere at the back of her mind Tomo was impressed by this chick but didn't give it any more attention.

The purple chick stopped singing when they exited the crowd, and the three of them stumbled to the street. Well, the purple chick stumbled. Tomo's steps were steady, for Shiro. She let Shiro down and rubbed her back when she leaned on the wall.
"Yer okay my ass. What the fuck happened in there? Why are ya even here?"
Tomo demanded from Shiro, still keeping her hand on Shiro's back, stroking gently and carefully. Probably eerily gently, not like her at all.
Tomo turned to frown at the purple chick, who was acting like she was drunk or something. Tomo noted the glazed over gaze and lifted a brow.
"I've seen ya around, but I see most folks around. The name's Tomo. What did ya inhale in there? Ya look like yer ready for an afterparty."
Tomo asked with a slightly annoyed tone, and she was still struggling to keep herself from dashing back into that party and beating up everyone who made any kind of contact with Shiro. Including that perv, because Tomo wasn't yet buying that Shiro was here alone.

"Let her be Tomo," she'd say glancing at her when she started giving Violeta an annoyed tone. "I'm fine, I'm fine," she'd repeat to herself, as if she had to convince herself that she wasn't hurt, wasn't troubled, hadn't been abandoned by the girl she was dating, trying to convince herself that it was all fine.

"I...I just snuck in..thought it'd be cool...be fun," she'd done it before, like at the pool party, so it wasn't the first time she'd gone to something like. "Didn't think there'd be that many people," a lie of course, she'd been dragged there by Anya.

Taking a breath, she'd stand up from the wall, unaware of the tears streaming down her face and turn to face her sisters both surrogate and biological. "Can we..uh..get going?"

Gradually Violeta was coming out of what in some ways was a sort of equivalent to a drunken state, but still she giggled at Tomo's annoyed questions. "Noooo I feed on emotions, lovely tasty emotions. Yours theirs and everyone's. I'm Violeta," she replied as she stood up away from the wall and seemed to be mostly steady on her feet though her eyes remained glazed over from the feeding.

Violeta was about to call Shiro on the lies. From the emotions she was expressing Violeta was fairly certain that Shiro was not actually fine and pretty sure she was lying or at least omitting some important details. But then she saw the tears streaming down her face. Violeta didn't want to push too hard while Shiro was still so scared and upset. Also the anger coming from Tomo was quite strong and she was a little afraid what she might do.

"You are safe now Shiro. Tomo and I won't leave you til we get back to your dorm," she soothed, making sure to give a pointed glance at Tomo when she said 'won't leave you' in the hopes that it would help her not act on her anger. Getting answers from Shiro was lower on the list of priorities than helping her recover from whatever she had experienced in that party but it still was something that needed to be done. "Let's walk for a little bit and calm down. Then Shiro can tell us more about the party." She was trying to balance being comforting with still getting to the bottom of what had happened. The little voice in her head urging her to just let the other two continue being very emotional wasn't helping.

"Uh, also the boys who let me in might get lonely and realize I left them," she added with a giggle. It really wasn't something she was worried about- they'd probably just move on to the next person they saw in the party but Violeta was trying to give them a nother reason to start walking away.

Tomo really wanted to storm that den of assholes back there, but as she looked at Shiro she knew that wouldn't benefit anyone right now. Tomo forced at least her arms to stay relaxed as she supported Shiro but the rest of her body stayed tense and Tomo was gritting her teeth so hard she bet she would taste blood soon.
"Tomo."
She answered Violeta, not commenting on the emotion feeding. Tomo had seen weirder shit. Though it was still a bit weird emotions made you seem like you were drunk or high or both.

Tomo wasn't really buying anything Shiro was saying, but that wasn't important now. She could try and pry the truth out later. Or find Anya and...have a little chat.
But as Violeta so very subtly suggested to Tomo she wasn't going anywhere now. Tomo did not break contact with Shiro, supporting her with eerily gentle grip. Tomo's face was nearly blank, though her eyes were basically sparking with anger. Tomo was also holding back the werecat form, which wanted to burst out and lay some waste.
Tomo just nodded when Violeta said they should walk, the other chick seemed to be much better at this consoling stuff than Tomo. The last time Tomo had wanted to comfort Shiro she had slapped her.

Taking a small breath she'd step a little ways away from Tomo, "I'm ok Tomo, legs aren't hurt," she'd quickly wipe away the tears, or tried to, "let's just go." She didn't want to be here anymore, she just wanted to go home and forget this had ever happened.

She'd walk a little ways in silence, her eyes cast downward, "I...wasn't there long..just snuck in..and that happened." A lie, well mostly a lie, she hadn't been there long, but she hadn't snuck in.

The cat shifter would look back to the ground, occasionally glancing at her companions, her thoughts a torrent of confusion.

Violeta walked with the two siblings and the more time away from the party the more stable and less 'drunk' she seemed to be. Her eyes however didn't stop being glazed over. The amount of anger and other emotions coming from Tomo and Shiro was still pretty high.

After letting Shiro be the first one to break their silence while walking Violeta decided it would be ok to try a gentle nudge. "Shiro," she sighed, "i'm not upset at you for being at a party. I've been to plenty of parties I should not have gone to. How did you find it though?" Violeta didn't want to outright accuse Shiro of lying so the next best thing was to ask something and see how Shiro reacted. Any time Shiro or Tomo looked at Violeta they would have seen a soft smile. No longer the crazy grin from before but something far more comforting. At least that was the intention.

Violeta was realizing she might have to try to calm Tomo down too somehow. The part of her that loved feeding on the emotions hated that thought but the more rational part of her knew that things would not go well if the girl kept all that anger boiling out of her. "Hey Tomo, how are you at singing," she asked suddenly. It was definitely a random seeming question but there was a plan for it. If she could sing, or at least hum, then maybe Violeta could help Tomo comfort Shiro. She knew that humming and singing had worked a little before. If she couldn't? Well it might distract her from her anger to think about something else for a moment.

Tomo was sure that no matter what she would say now would come out as aggressive or at least have an angry undertone. So she kept her mouth shut as the three of them walked, keeping her anger at bay. Though she wanted to bomb Shiro with questions and find the perv and rip her a new one.

The Violeta chick was doing a much better job at being comforting and questioning Shiro at the same time than Tomo could ever be. All Tomo could do was intimidate, push or just speak the truth. None of those would help in this situation, so she kept her comments to herself.

When Violeta suddenly asked Tomo how she was at singing Tomo looked at her with utter confusion.
"I mean, okay. Why would ya ask that now of all times?"
Though as Tomo had seen the singing scene earlier she supposed it was somehow not as weird for this chick to ask that, as singing seemed to be her thing.

((Bit short, sorry))

She'd shrug, "same way I found the last one, someone at school was talking about it, thought I was a bit older than I was so they told me." Another lie, a believable one, but an empath would pick up on the emotions associated with lying.

Shiro's head snapped up at mention of singing, her eyes going to Violeta, "d-dont please," her eyes apologetic and begging, "please don't use the emotion power on me." A part of her wanted to completely forget she had emotions at all, but she didnt want to be made to feel something via magic.

The cat shifter would look between her two companions, suddenly being more fidgety and nervous. "I'm fine, it's just a bruise, let's just get home," she wanted to forget this night if she could.

Violeta could tell that Shiro wasn't being completely honest. The way her emotions fluctuated caught Vi's attention and though it was pretty much what she expected it made her worried. There was more to this story and it was something Shiro felt she had to hide from both her sister and Vi. She was trying to figure out how to question Shiro further when the girl started to panic.

Poor Shiro. Violeta had not meant that kind of singing at all. Not to mention she wouldn't have been able to even if she wanted. She would have needed someone nearby expressing a positive emotion, and that wasn't happening at all. She looked surprised and extremely worried all of a sudden. "Oh no no, I wasn't going to force you to feel happy or anything like that. I was talking about regular, normal singing. I thought maybe you would like that," she reassured. The last thing she wanted was to use her abilities to force people to do things. Vi had experienced her own years of being trapped by those who compelled her to do things or feel things she didn't want to.

The fact that Violeta had actually just used her abilities to entice several guys on the way into the party was going to weigh extremely heavily on her conscience for a while. But that would wait until after Shiro was safe and once her head cleared from all the feeding.

Vi decided to try a different tactic. "Singing would help me feel better. Maybe I can just hum a little instead though? That way you know i'm not trying to give you emotions. You two could join in or not," she said softly. If she could frame it as something for herself maybe Shiro would accept that. Vi knew Shiro enjoyed it when she sang or hummed.

Either way they continued walking with Shiro. No threats would be able to touch her while two very strong and very protective girls flanked her. If nothing else their presence alone would bring some small amount of comfort to Shiro even if she couldn't bring herself to tell them the truth. Violeta wasn't done asking questions but she could wait a bit to let Shiro stop panicking as much.
