Night of the wolf Pixan

Jii was honestly really excited to be coming over to spend time with Cardinal; they had gotten along really well so far and she seemed like a really nice person in general. She hated to admit it, but she had been a bit of a recluse for a little while, not even visiting the community center as much as she had used to, let alone actually going and spending time with friends.

She had opted to bring her pajamas along with her, not exactly sure what the etiquette for this sort of thing was and not sure if showing up already wearing them was weird. She brought along a small basket of doughnuts she had made fresh before coming over, even though she knew fully well it was probably a bad idea to eat very many.

Arriving at her destination after a satisfying run that would only make her more prone to cuddling and relaxing than she was by default, she gave a few small knocks on Cardinal's door. "Hey, it's Jii! Sorry if I'm too early or something, uhh...I brought snacks!"

Jii giggled quietly at Cardinal's greeting, returning an awkward little curtsy of her own and heading inside. She looked around at the rather sparsely decorated room, but didn't seem put off by it at all. She headed over to the futon and set down her basket as instructed, looking up at Cardinal and grinning. "Thanks so much for having me over! I think it'll be lots of fun."

When Cardinal mentioned she could change, Jii gave a few slow blinks at the two options given to her, especially the second. "Hide behind...um...well, I guess, that should be fine." Blushing just a bit, she shuffled behind the futon and pulled her pajamas out of her bag, just a plain tank top and black pajama shorts. She exchanged her clothes as quickly as she could, tying off the bag so nothing spilled out, and going over to pull herself onto the couch with Cardinal.

Jii gave a grateful smile when Cardinal passed her the snack, doing her best to open up the bag and struggling with it pretty noticeably. "Well, um, you're definitely fun as far as I'm concerned! I like hanging out with you, and talking, and...yeah. It's really nice to be able to hang out together somewhere other than the community center."

Something to do or talk about? Hm...well, there were plenty of options, but Jii wasn't entirely sure what Cardinal would find entertaining that she would. Usually, if she was spending the night back home, there would be a big emphasis on music, but that wasn't an intensely engaging thing. "Oh, um...hm. Well, I'm up for anything, really! We could play a game, maybe? Video games, or board games, or like...I don't know. Any kind of game is fine!" She finally managed to get her chips open, but...well, kind of ended up ripping them open really suddenly, showering the two of them in chips, as well as the couch and some of the floor. ". . .Oh...sorry! Sorry, sorry!"

Jii hurried to help her clean up, blinking when Cardinal crunched a chip off of her shoulder but just focusing on cleaning up. With her general agility, it really didn't take too long, and things were clean once again. Jii was still pretty obviously embarrassed, but tried to deflect from that by just moving on with the conversation. "Um, alright, well...let's figure out a board game to play!"

Jii was steadily able to cool off a bit from her flustered episode, listening carefully as Cardinal explained the rules and then peering at the pieces available. "I, ummm...I guess I'll be the hat, since it's fancy and such. You picked a good one, though!" She smiled a tiny bit and then got to playing, crunching on the chips as she went and maybe being a bit overly cautious not to spill again.
