Private Nice to have you over

It was true they hadn't hung out in quite a while, Joe had been over doing it with his studies and his need for new knowledge he had forgotten how nice it was to just talk to a friend once again. Though he did feel nervous, he hoped that Amber forgave him for how much time he spent away from others. Its not that he didn't enjoy the people that he spent his time with, but most made him nervous and feel new things that he felt off about. Though he seemed to miss talking to Amber most, maybe this was because she like the same things as him, he enjoyed telling her about all he's learnt. It just felt so nice to him to have a friend who really took an interest on what he did without any judgement at all. He felt comfortable with her.

So he asked her to hang out again, maybe hanging out with her was the thing he had been needing all along. "Yea... I'm happy too.... I think i have been to your house once..." he said with a nod."And I'm really sorry about that, I.... spaced out for a long while.... though... I did think of you a bunch. I should have talked sooner but I..... I got a bit nervous..." he rubbed his arm a lil and looked away. "I.... uhmm I like you Amber.... you're a really good friend to me..."

"How about we talk a bit more...... before we start doing things.... if thats ok with you of course."

"Y-Yea.... I usually don't take others words but... I think I can trust you" he said with a nod an a tiny smile for a moment before returning to his usual neutral facial expression. He was extremely relieved hearing this and he started to calm down a bit letting out a tiny sigh of content."Sorry if my social skills are laking too..... as you know I haven't been to talkative lately. Mmhm, I want to show lots about stuff I-I've learnt" he pipped up a bit at the last part.

He hadn't really considered how everything was going much in his family life since well, it was only him and his mother. "Mom is happy and i'm.... well i've been feeling odd lately.... new feelings, I think its normal but they make me feel all odd.... How about your family? Hows... Dalia.."

It had truly been a while and hearing all these things that had happened made him feel weird, he hadn't been paying too much attention to anything besides big news and even then he got that from his mother usually. He'd been in his own world for so long and he wanted to try to pay attention more to the events that unfolded around him. Besides that he was glad everything seemed alright besides the genocide part which he blinked in surprise at the mention of. "W-Well I hope everything... works out.... violence is... mmm.... I just don't understand it" he said shaking his head.

He moved next to her and sat on the couch looking around at the room for a moment before looking to her.

"I uhh... well I've been.... pretty distant with everyone which is normal for me but... something changed. I usually have a fine time on my own but.... I just kept thinking of my friends... or well.. my old friends and... thinking of you." He paused for a moment looking down at the ground gathering his thoughts more. It was hard for Joe to talk about his feelings, even to someone he trusted. "Which is normal but.... It felt different, being lonely isn't a problem for me but I was drawn to you... i-in the way of wanting to have your company of course.... but its weird... of course I enjoy spending time with you but.... I haven't been drawn to do so... until lately... i-if that makes any sense".

He looked down at his feet for a moment, listing to Amber speak not noticing her blushing until she spoke up. He blinked in surprise looking at her and then back down at the floor, he was clearly flustered as well. "Y-Yea..... I did... and its only fair that I tell you... right? I might have even... wrote a bit about.. you... yea." he said the last part a bit more quietly. He took a deep breath and composed himself once more. "Sorry... again for being away for so long..."

He fidgeted slightly smiling to himself tiny bit as she asked him what he had been studying and learning, he always loved his chats with Amber, exchanging things they had learnt. "Well.... lots... but for starters.... I uhmm decided recently that i'd like to learn piano... so I have been looking into that... a-and i'm sure if I ask a teacher or something they'll help me...." He had never been into the arts besides little doodles he did in his notebooks from time to time but he gain an interest in the instrument after listening to others play. "It just looks so.... well, cool all the movements and it seems so.... calculated too. I also really like the sound of it." He nodded.

Joe was glad that she thought he'd be good at piano and he thought the same himself, he thought it suited him well. "Thanks... its my first time doing anything like this.... I've always... liked the arts but.... everything seems to draw so much attention." he said referring to people appreciating others skills. This was completely fine to Joseph but he got uncomfortable getting praise from strangers, it somehow felt wrong to him, but who knew maybe Joe would over come this one day.

The violin somehow suited Amber well to him, he wore a tiny smile for a few moments, he tended to like the more elegant instruments. The though of preforming with Amber and potentially others made him nervous yet excited in someway, even though he picked up that it was a joke of sorts still his head filled with many thoughts and ways certain things could play out. "Y-Yea..... maybe I guess..... at like a.. fancy restaurant or something.... yea."
