Colin stand in the top of the tower, staring down below at the bright green grass, the sunlight spread everywhere and creating a glare on some of the windows. He blinks a few times, trying to shake off the lights and sighs. First day of school, it was such a drag. He didn't even really know why he was here except for using it as shelter. To be honest, he already knew everything they were teaching in the school academically, and it's not like he could learn how to use his powers any more than he already did.

Ellia sighed, she had a long day. People never accepted she was blind, neither did she herself. She decided to go to somewhere quiet, she climbed up the stairs feeling her way as she went. She soon found herself in someplace, she sighed and found her way to a chair. She sat on it and sighed absorbing the insane quietness of the place she was in.

She listened to the birds mainly crows she heard in the distance. She didn't realize someone else was up here, she took hold of a necklace feeling around it she clapse the pendant. She sighed wishing she could see, she'd never know what gold was, or what silver was. She'd never be able to see the things she heard about.

Colin has his bag to her and also hadn't seen her. In fact, he didn't hear her either, so her presence was a complete shock to him. He saw a bird fly by the window, a little close actually, and back up, turning around. As he saw the girl sitting in the chair, he jumped back in surprise, hitting the windowsill and catching himself before he falls out onto the ground below..far far below. He shakes his head and recovers his composure. The girl, although she was staring right at him, hadn't seemed to notice him. "er, hello?" he asks her awkwardly.

"er, hello?"

She heard someone, she wondered about something and then sighed. "Hello." She said rather curtly, she wasn't much of a talker. She needed nudging before she talked more than was necessary. Her eyes were blank, not much feeling or motion to them. She saw nothing, so it didn't matter if she moved them or not. She was still blind even if she did other things.

She felt the wind on her face, everything in life was so empty without having ever seen. She was only able to hear darkness speak to her. She never saw another person, or even herself. She was unsure of what beauty was or what things were.

Colin looks at her quietly, calculating in his mind about her. Well, she's obviously blind..which means don't shout or make alot of noise, it'll hurt her ears.. Feeling more calm, he leans casually against the wall and closes his eyes in thought. He was uncomfortable around people who were blind. Not because they were blind, more of the fact they could hear EVERYTHING you did. He sighs and shakes his head, "So..how long have you been blind? Was it from birth or did it happen as you grew older?"

"So..how long have you been blind? Was it from birth or did it happen as you grew older?"

She sighed, "I was born blind, my parents didn't realize till I was 3." She said shifting her weight in the chair, she wasn't a person that talked much. This boy seemed awfully frank to have asked her at first sight how long she had been blind. She didn't frankly like be looked at as a blind person. She was able to do things just like anyone else. Why did this make any difference? She sighed feeling aggreviated at the fact that people only saw a blind girl when they looked at her.

Colin chuckles quietly at her curt reply. Her parents must have been pretty idiotic not to have noticed a child being blind until she was three. Typically that would mean they didn't really care much and never took her to the hospital for check-ups when she was younger. He opens his closed eyes and looks at her directly in hers, whether she could see or not. "Well..that's life isn't it..I'd gladly take being blind over the large pile of mess I've gotten myself into..just for being born.."

She listened to him trying to figure out what mess he got himself into by just being born. "What kind of trouble did you get into?" She asked curiously, she wasn't one to pry. But seeing he did she figured that gave her the ability to pry into his life. She knew it was a bit blunt to ask but it wasn't like she wasn't going to answer his questions.

Colin chuckles before looking at her quietly. He figured he could trust her, people would no doubt think she's crazy if she told anyone anyways. With a sighs he begins to explain, "Let me just say, I'm and escaped hostage who is the only thing keeping the earth from being thrown straight into hell by my father and his people.." He shrugs and shakes is head, "I'm the son of one of the titans from the old Greek stories.."

"You know I could not believe you, but seeing I can't see it to believe it anyway it doesn't matter. So you have a crummy life, but you don't know the torment of being blind. You may have to be in a odd situation but you were borned prepared for it. If you weren't his son than someone else would be, and let's just say the world could be gone by now. Whereas some people can't take being blind, not that it's easy to have people laugh when your in pain. Or be unable to see things or know what colors look like. Be glad you got the life you have, it's better than being unable to see happiness or anything." She said with a sigh, she didn't want him to wish to have the torture she had. Being unable to live a socially normal life or know what she looked like, or what a human looked like or even a animal. She had no pictures in her brain, no memories than voices echoing in her mind with no face.
