"Bye then, I'll catch you later. Maybe after last period?" Liliana said to Amber as she closed her locker and spun the lock on it. It was a silly thing to do considering anybody with a bit of magic could probably break into her locker if they wanted to. Not that they'd find much since Liliana rarely kept more than a few textbooks, a notebook or two, extra pens, a small mirror, hairbrush and a sweater.

Heading down the hall, Liliana looked at her notebook, flipped a page to today - she had begun to write things down now that she was on the student council and part of the Hereafter club. It helped keep things straight and helped the psychopomp not to forget what she had to do.

"Leila... that's right," she murmured to herself when she saw the name on her list, remembering now that she had promised to welcome and show the new girl around the school and its grounds.

Entering the student lounge, Liliana looked slowly around the room for the new girl, for somebody she didn't recognise. Suddenly, she saw her, a girl with long white hair and striking blue eyes... "Leila?" she asked as she approached the young woman. "I'm Liliana, student council president. The school has asked me to show you around," she explained politely.

It was always a hassle, being the new person somewhere. That much did not seem to change even when Leila crossed the borders of worlds. She remembered very clearly just how much pain it was when she was introduced to the guilds of mages for the very first time in her homeworld, and this place appeared to be something of a similar nature. But rather for a job, it was for learning. At least that was how much she managed to gather in her short time here.

She was lead here pretty much as soon as she left her dimensional gate and given an amulet that allowed her to understand what everyone was saying, which at the very least made things easier to bare. She was an adventurous type, so she obviously wanted to explore this place. She just had to be a bit cautious in case anyone hostile would show up. Though it did not seem like that would be happening so far. Instead, she was just kinda seated in this room and told to wait.

And so she did. For some time now, at least half an hour? She was never too good at telling time without a clock. But the door finally opened up, drawing her eyes to the figure that appeared behind them. Red hair... suddenly Leila realized she had never met anyone with a hair colored like that! With her interest immediately piqued, she basically jumped out of her seat and straightened herself out in front of this new girl.

"Yes, a pleasure to meet you! Though I have no idea what being a council president means, is it like being a guild master?" Asking in a completely innocent voice, Leila retained equally as innocent smile during that whole sentence, carefully observing the one who was about to show her around. People here appeared to be quite interesting so far.

"Sort of like that..." Liliana grinned when Leila asked her if being a student council president was like a guild master. She was very used to people being from elsewhere and not knowing or using earth, Manta Carlos, customs.

"But only if you think a guild master represents three hundred and some odd students from every place imaginable and with powers that are just varied," she pointed out and gave her a welcoming smile. "Then yes, I am a type of guild master, though I have no real power either," she admitted with shrug.

"So have you been introduced to many people yet? Like your dorm parent, or your homeroom teachers?" Liliana asked curiously, needing to know where she should start.

"Awesome!" Was the first thing Leila exclaimed the moment her comparison was accepted like that. It made things much easier to understand, at least in a way. She even pumped her fists in the air slightly when doing so. "Ah... pardon me, I forgot my manners!" Shen then quickly piped down and took a couple of steps back to promptly leave the other girl's personal space.

If she really was like a guild master, then she deserved a lot of respect and Leila planned on adhering to that, even in a different world. Three hundred people actually didn't sound like that many either, she's been to organizations that had well over that, often even going into thousands of members. But the less, the easier it would be for her to interact with everyone, so she was fine with it!

That said, she was quick to tilt her head to the side in a confused manner as few new words leaped out of Liliana's mouth. "Dorm parent..? Homeroom teacher..? Sorry, I don't have any parents and my teacher stayed behind in our world!" She had absolutely no idea what it all meant, but she was prepared to learn and follow this girl anywhere she had to!

When Leila pumped the air, Liliana couldn't help but grin widely at her very positive reaction to the idea she was a guild master. "Don't really worry about that. Showing that your cool or agree with something or that you feel happy about something is not rude, nope, not at all...just be yourself," Liliana said as she encouraged the girl just to be herself and not worry too much about things like that.

"Okay, so you haven't met your dorm parent yet..." Liliana remarked thoughtfully, thinking she probably had Finch - which was good because Liliana could then take her to see him after the tour of the school. "It's most likely Mr. Finch... he's a bit odd, but very nice. He kind of looks after you and helps out with things you might need while you are living here at the school," Liliana explained.

"Homeroom teachers, well, that will have to wait probably," Liliana said pursing her lips together, "I don't have your schedule, your timetable... it tells me which classes you have. I would need to stop in at reception, I think..." she said a bit unsure about that.

"Anyways, how about we start with the library?" she suddenly asked Leila deciding not to worry and just continue with the tour. "It's just across the hall actually."

Leila simply laughed awkwardly as she scratched the back of her head before saying "Sorry!" and putting up a mental note to try and act naturally around this girl, even if she represented authority. Something like that was probably for the best, even if it would take a bit of time to get used to. Regardless, there was one small thing the girl became confused about when Liliana described the dorm and dorm parent.

"While living here... I have my own home, so that might not be a problem at all!" But then again, it might have also been a rule that every student had to live in the dorms. Leila simply did not know yet, so she had to wait for a proper answer. She was a bit of a special case, considering the fact that instead of having a house, she actually had an entire pocket dimension of sorts available to her as a home.

The whole bit about homeroom teacher did not quite help either, as the girl did not know her own schedule just yet either. Just the fact that it would be special due to having to learn things about this world that most people already knew. However, the library sounded like a great idea for a curious girl like Leila. "Yes, please!" With an excited tone, she agreed for that to be their first visit as she hopped forward along with a surprisingly elegant pirouette, getting ahead of Liliana and then turning around to look at her with a smile and a wink, ready to follow.

"Oh, I didn't realise that you were living off campus. Most new students move to the dorms and live at the school," Liliana explained as they walked towards the door, glad to know she must have family or something living on Manta Carlos.

"Then don't worry about the dorm parent thing, cause obviously, you don't need one then." here she grinned and kind of waved to a few people, greeting them as they walked by.

"The library is basically open all the time and so is the cafeteria," she said as she led Leila through the hall, "We have students that are nocturnal and have to take classes at night. In fact, some people prefer night classes to day and opt for them instead," Liliana explained warmly as she glanced sideways at Leila to make sure she was okay and not getting lost.

Living in the school dorms might have actually been a pretty good choice, Leila was just so new here that she wasn't quite aware of that possibility or what perks it would give her. "Not even quite off-campus, but off-world. I can open a dimensional gate to a different world where I live alone." The girl then tried to clarify, since she felt that it might have been a pretty important piece of information to let out.

As they passed by other people, the silver-haired maiden could only really look at them curiously and even look over her shoulder a bit as they passed them. She didn't really know anyone here, which made her wonder if she'd even be able to properly fit in. But with time, just about anything was possible! Or so the girl liked to believe.

"Nocturnal... ah, like some of the flowers that desire light reflected by a moon rather than the one coming directly from the Sun. I can walk around whenever though!" She exclaimed happily as she continued looking around. Though she then quickly hopped right next to Liliana and leaned closer to her. "What classes are you talking, um... actually, how do I call you? Miss Council President?"

Liliana just stared at Leila when she told her she lived off world. She had never heard of anyone doing such a thing like that before. She guessed it was not against any rules. But it was an odd thing, especially if anyone needed to reach her for any reason...

"And, what if somebody needs to contact you for some reason? An emergency or class change? Or if you need help or are ill? How do they do that if you don't live on the island or at the school?" she asked her with some concern.

"All classes actually..." Liliana explained to Leila with a grin, "Most classes have a night call option."

"Well, you can just call me by my given name, I don't have a real title. I am the student council president, and maybe in meetings, I am referred to as that, but most people just call me Liliana," she shrugged as she opened to the doors to the library and led Leila into the huge book filled space, "Library..." she stated with a smile. "For all you reading needs."

Upon hearing those words, Leila did stop in her tracks for a moment. "I suppose that would be a bit of a problem. Haha, sorry, I'm used to living together with everyone who would ever really want to talk to me." She scratched the back of her head again as she recalled all the people who would fall into that category. The way she lived up until now didn't exactly involve a lot of permanent or even long-lasting contacts, after all.

"I wonder if I'll be able to live alone..." She then also said mostly to herself, but loud enough for Liliana to probably hear it. "Sounds rough..." She also commented on the fact that this girl was apparently taking all the classes. Though it was hard to imagine how busy that would make the council president. At the very least, the girl was pretty happy that she could call the other girl by her name rather than a title. It was more personal and better sounding.

And finally, they were in the library. The moment they entered, the silver-haired maiden's eyes would sparkle with interest as she ran off ahead a little bit, looking all around the place. "So many books, I've never seen a library this big!" She exclaimed before she realized that she should probably be silent and covered her mouth nervously. She was even expecting some grumpy librarian lady to yell at her in a moment. "Do you come here often, Liliana?"
