"I don't do dances. Lots of people in one room makes me kind of nervous. I know it's weird but it's me." Kristin said. Thinking about it made her a little nervous. "I've been like that for years."
Judas smiled.
"I don't blame you...dances really are frivolous things...I'm going to the one that's coming in a few weeks...The big December dance...all the girls whispering and such about who they're asking out...Irritating time of year."
" Guess I'm not like most girls then." Kristin said, but she did want to fit in. "Maybe I'll try it. Maybe I could try and get over it." Kristin said. She really did want to fit in, and maybe this was the way.
Judas smiled.
"Well, it's for the best. It is truly admirable to not fit in, to be unique, but at the same time, one could always use new friends...I'm sure you'll enjoy it in your own way...I'm going to sure as hell try in a few weeks. I wouldn't have even gone if I hadn't been asked."
He scowled, then chuckled.
"You don't sound thrilled." Kristin said with a laugh, "It can't be that bad right?" She said wondering if she was really saying that. She couldn't believe she was going to do it.
Judas sighed.
"I'm going with Mimosa...She seems fine, I suppose, one of my first friends here."
He smiled.
"We aren't girlfriend and boyfriend or any of that crap though, thank god, and she doesn't seem to into it either. I'll probably just enjoy myself by watching the others act like morons..."
"Oh thanks i'm probably going to be one of those morons." Kristin said jokingly, she stood up from the rock she was sitting on. "Well I hope you have a wonderful time."
Judas peered, distracted, at her, as if he had been silently brooding something himself.
"Ah yes, I wish you good times as well, perhaps you can truly enjoy yourself there. Time will tell."
A girl had been watching thier conversation on the other side of the lake. Her reflection shone in the lake, and she skipped a rock. She thought that was fun to do, and it was relaxing. She skipped two more. It bounced two times. She saw one of the people on the other side of the lake look at her. She siled at whoever it was. "The person" walked over to her. It was..

This can either be judas or Kirsten.
Judas smiled as he peered at the strange girl.
"I see you were in on our pleasant little conversation...I haven't exactly seen you around here before. The name's Judas Anderson, pleased to meet you, I suppose."
