Levina answered Cosette's question like she wasn't used to being asked that question, or just not used to answering. It was all facts and work, nothing that personal. It didn't bother Cosette too greatly, and she actually admired Levina's organisational skills. It was an impressive feat of scheduling and memorization, and Cosette nodded along as the other woman spoke.
"You're very on top of everything, I'm impressed."
Cosette commented, truly meaning her words and she also looked impressed. But in her mind she made a note to try and ask Levina that question every time they met, and see if she could get the woman to answer how she felt today, or her opinion on things.

"A request? Of course, how can I help?"
Cosette answered with little to no hesitation, curious to hear what this "personal order" was.

Levina bit her bottom lip hesitantly. She had become much more bold recently with things that involved Mathos. Maybe it was partly the praise and attention he had been giving her for all her work on the brewery, as well as other things. Or maybe it was the fact that they had been spending so much more time together. Either way, she was about to take another big step.
"I need you to make me something. Something with your culinary skills for someone extremely important to me..."
The look on her face was highly uncharacteristic as she fidgeted with her hands. She appeared and sounded nervous. Her heart was pounding in her chest.
"I can get you whatever you need to make it. But it has to be with the best ingredients. Classy or luxurious. Cost is no issue."

Seeing Levina like this reminded Cosette of...of herself. When she had thought she was in love with the man that had ended up kidnapping her. The sight made Cosette smile, but it also stirred some painful memories that brought up emotions, that Cosette made sure to keep away from her expression. She listened intently, and nodded.

"It'd be an honour to help you with this, Levina."
Cosette said gently, a fond expression on her face. Cosette was extremely happy and touched that Levina trusted her enough to make something for someone so special.
"I think I may have the perfect thing in mind. A cake called Opera, it's a chilled desert made of sponge cake, coffee syrup and dark chocolate ganache. Technically challenging, but I have made it and my master praised it. Would that suit your needs?"
Cosette was getting excited for this. Opera was an old cake, classical and fancy like Levina wished. It was often served as a sophisticated dessert, so it would most probably be what Levina wanted.

Levina tried to shake off her hesitant attitude by flashing a smile, but it quickly disappeared as Cosette began to describe her idea. It sounded as if it would work, but she didn't know how he completely felt about the flavors.

"Um...I don't know much about baking and flavors. Would it pair well with rum? Or can you work that in?"

Levina knew beyond a shadow of a doubt he liked rum, so maybe she could get that worked in too. Cosette was the expert here, so against her better judgment, Levina was going to let her come up with what was best.

"Again, has to be the best quality of ingredients. I can buy and get whatever you need."

Money was no issue in Levina's life. She was paid well and had made her own investments through different connections she had made as a personal assistant.

"Certainly, I can easily mix in some rum. Rum goes well with chocolate, I can mix it in with the coffee syrup so the sponge cake has the nice aroma and taste of rum."
Cosette explained, actually happy for the added challenge. She had used wine in cooking and baking before but not rum, but she knew how it and alcohol in general worked in baking. Cosette was determined to succeed.

"I will give you the bill after I've made the cake and the customer has been confirmed happy with the product. Please don't worry, leave it to me."
Cosette reassured Levina, since the other woman seemed anxious. Cosette's tone remained soft and friendly, but she tried to use bit more official words, hoping it would calm Levina.
"As I explained, Opera is a chilled cake, so it should be delivered as fresh as possible. If you wish I can deliver it personally to an address on the day of your choosing, so I can bake it on that very same day."

Cosette's more official tone and verbiage helped relax Levina a bit. It turned it to something she was doing for the one she loved, to doing something for her boss. A wave of relief washed over her face and her usual look returned.
"Wonderful. Just one moment."
Levina pulled out her phone and opened the calendar. Swiping through it a few times, a few taps, and electric blue eyes bouncing all over the screen, eventually Levina smiled.
"There we go. Was looking for when he would be in that wasn't his very strict 'do not disturb' times. Even I don't bother him then."
Levina pulled a scrap piece of paper and a pen and wrote the date, time, address, and directions to get in and to his office at the brewery. She handed it to Cosette when she was done and smiled.
"And again, please don't hesitate to ask if you need me to get anything. This has to be perfect. Its.....its why I'm trusting you..."
It was obviously hard for Levina to admit that she was letting go of control and trusting someone else. It was very unlike her, but something inside said she could trust Cosette.

Cosette's relief mirrored Levina's, when she saw that the other woman relaxed. Cosette didn't show her relief, though, she just patiently waited while Levina checked something on her phone. It didn't take long for Levina to find what she had been looking for or checking, and Cosette returned her smile.

"I will make it as perfect as possible with my abilities. Thank you for trusting me with this, I will make certain you won't regret it."
Cosette said, her tone and expression touched and happy yet determined, as she received the note Levina had wrote the needed information on. Cosette could see how hard it was for Levina to trust someone else, Cosette could relate. It wasn't hard for her to place trust in people, but it was hard for her to rely on others. And for Levina to do that with Cosette, someone she had only recently met but already trusted enough, was remarkable and moved Cosette tremendously.
"I will keep you posted on my progress, and if you want you can taste some of the test pieces I will make. So you can make sure I am performing up to your standards."
Cosette offered with a chuckle, because she was certain that it would make Levina feel better to have a part in the process, for her to at least some control and ways to be involved.

A hesitant smile grew on Levina's face. She knew that Cosette didn't have to offer for her to come try pieces to make sure it was good. Levina dealt in business enough to know that when you did that, people didn't put their all into it because you would just change it anyways. But if you have them full control they would do their best to not have to redo the product after completion. For some reason, Levina didn't get that feeling from Cosette.
"I....I would like that very much. Thank you."
It did make her feel better. She knew Mathos was extremely picky and extremely critical of everything. It was one of the reasons he kept Levina employed. So was she, so by the time things made it to him for his approval, they were basically as close to perfect as they could get.
"If there's anything I can do for you Cosette, please let me know.... that's for more than just this. Anything."
Her voice was lower, almost as if embarrassed. It was a rare offer from the usually snarky personal assistant.

"You're very welcome. With your input the cake is sure to become delicious."
Cosette answered, now slipping back to more informal, friendly way of speech, since Levina seemed to be feeling more comfortable again. Cosette started to suspect that Levina was in fact in love or at least attracted to her employer. Cosette didn't judge, she believed that love shouldn't depend on social or monetary or any kind of other status. Cosette was quite the romanticist, despite being hesitant about romance in her own case.

"Thank you, Levina. Knowing you have my back is extremely reassuring."
Cosette said softly with a happy smile. She could tell that this was out of character for Levina, that the woman was almost embarrassed. Cosette felt like they had known each other for longer than they actually had, she often felt like that with people because she was observant. With Levina it was a nice feeling.

A gruf sound came from Levina's throat as she cleared it. A small hand coming to cover her mouth. The action was exaggerated and meant to try to shake herself out of whatever rutt she had fallen into.
"So....how has the day treated you?"
The normal high intensity and judging Levina appeared to be back. She was always terrible at hiding her feelings around anyone unless it came to true business. Levina was merely trying to continue the conversation and change the subject.
"I assume there are no further....incidents.... that need my attention? "
She was referring to the first time they met when Levina, quite forcefully and painfully removed someone from cornering Cosette, obviously against her will.
