Miralis was a bit a late for meeting Xenia at the front gate of school. So for once he ran, in the dress blacks to look decent. He moved though the halls of dorms, to the courtyard of the school, all over the grounds and finally made it. He could feel the artificial heart with in himself beat fast, it wasn't pumping anything. It was just there for show really.

He stopped for a bit and leaned up against the wall to take a moment. He closed his eyes and was happy he got there first, which means she was late as well.Unless she was good at hiding then something would have to be done to find her. He opened his eyes and looked around a bit.

"Xenia?" he said unsure if she was around. He shrugged and just waited for her to show up. Still leaning against the wall awaiting for his.. Friend to show up. Though he spent a few moments trying to figure out things like; What to talk about, What to say and how to say it and what not. He was in the dark about the whole thing. Most of the search inquiries came up with 'Shoes, Clothes, Make up and girly things.' but he wiped that out and just tried to get some form of general things like;'How long has she been at this school? Where did she come from? What can she do? Is she a threat?'

He created a small list of like a test of what he wishes to get answers to. He had some answers but wanted more, though once again to get all the info he needed he would need to storm the headmasters office and hack in, download it all and then read it all.

Social situations weren't his strong suit. At all. Almost anyone could tell. If he were human, he would be sweating something fierce, but he wasn't so that was good. He didn't want to ruin his only good clothes, but the clothes themselves were made of nanobots so it didn't matter what so ever. He rubbed his eyes and then put both hands into his pockets and closed his eyes as he waited patiently for Xenia to arrive.

Xenia glanced down again. She couldn't stop staring at her dress. She had made this one herself, completely. She was making it for fun, but it was nearly done, so she had decided to finish it before leaving on her date. She had only met the man a few hours earlier, but it was an excuse to wear her new dress, so why not? He seemed to be a nice guy, most of the time.

She spun around, letting the breeze catch her new dress and twirl it up. It was green, the perfect shade to match the streak in her hair. It had no patterns or anything fancy, but it fit her body style well. She couldn't help but admire her own work sometimes. She was hoping that she wasn't too late to the cafe, as she didn't keep a watch on her. The sun was still up, though, so it couldn't be too terribly late.

As she approached the cafe, she noticed the Egg Th- Tellios - was already there. He looked as if he had put some effort into his wardrobe as well, which made Xenia feel marginally less awkward about her own attire. She wasn't really too nervous, which she was thankful for.

"Hey, how are ya? I wasn't too late, was I?" She mimed looking at her wrist, where there was clearly no watch, and laughed quietly at her own joke.

Tellios opened his eyes as he heard a familiar voice. He opened his eyes and blinked a few times. She looked good in Green. The dress fit her well. Almost too well for a factory made product as he pushed off from the wall he look at her mimic having a watch on and even he got a small chuckle out of that. He rubbed his head and looked down the street a bit.

"I'm alright. I wasn't waiting long actually, didn't get here till a few moments ago." He said and then he looked at her again. Trying to leave a compliment he said. "You look extremely stunning in that dress."

In his head he checked off 'Compliment' and he kind of scratched beside his right eye on his temple and awaited for her response. He wanted to at least how hiss complement would strike her if it did, he was trying to be friendly but he wasn't sure if he was doing this right at all. She did say that it was a 'date' so he was trying to treat it as such, so he was going to go the whole Nine yards with the cafe and start out slow first. He wasn't sure what to do.

If he COULD sweat he would be sweating buckets. This was something new to him, the social idea and all. So he tried to open up some form of conversation. "So.. How was the Chocolates?"

He said as he walked over to the door and opened it an awaited for his 'date' to go in before him.

Xenia blushed at his compliment. No one had ever been so forward with her before. Twice he had complimented her, and in the same day! Yet, at the same time, he didn't seem like the kind of creepy guy that was just complimenting her to have sex. Even thinking about it made her blush deepen. She definitely wasn't here to make those kinds of friends. She bowed to him in thanks for holding the door open, and quickly walked in.

The place was definitely nice. It seemed almost like it was newly built, with happy waitresses bouncing around serving many customers. Most of the customers seemed like they were couples. Is that was Tellios and she looked like? Like a couple?

"Hm? The eggs? Oh, I haven't eaten them yet. I didn't want to be full or anything since I knew we were out out. I mean, out, here, not out like, out...." Xenia took a deep breath. It was too early to already be messing this up. They were just here as friends. That's really all she wanted. Was to be friends. She told herself this over and over again, just to make sure it was true.

"Anyway, I see you skipped your power class too. Where did you run off to out the window in a hurry like that?"

Miralis walked into the establishment and starting to scan the area, a small green target ridicule came up in his optics as he looked around, gathering some information. The place was well kept and the food seems to be right to order and he was able to determine what he could 'eat' even though he would be here just for a drink or two.. Maybe three. He would probably go with tea since it helped with some of his systems processes.

He noticed many people in here, each had two people sitting at a table, some looked like couples holding each others hands over the table and others like two friends catching up. he was sure on what was going on in the room, but decided to wing it. He looked over at Xenia.

She was blushing. A lot. He raised an eye brown and created a search option for blushing using the local wifi.

Blushing; involuntary reddening of a person's face due to embarrassment or emotional stress, though it has been known to come from being lovestruck, or from some kind of romantic stimulation.

He read it in a matter of seconds as he raised an eye brow tossing that application aside from his mind, he wasn't sure what was going through her mind that would cause emotional stress and he did not understand the concept of 'love' and after the look across the room,. He wasn't sure this was a 'Romantic Atmosphere'. His mind was riddled with Illogical conclusions He shook his head for a moment when he snapped to on Xenia talking.

"I understand, I hope we could create a mutually beneficial relationship- I mean friendship between us." even he made a slight error and he wasn't human, this was a situation he is going in blind to. "Though I.. Am not sure I understand your discomfort, have I said anything that has offended?"

"I do not take the Power Class. I have control of what you people refer to as 'powers' but I am taking a computing course right now. I had tor run to my dorm and drop a few things off and grab a few things."

He wasn't wrong. He was connected to the teachers desk via one of his nanites inside the system giving him information. Even though he was here. He was using his sub-conscious systems to do the necessary work that was due for the day until they would sit down.

Xenia immediately looked up. She wasn't nervous, she told herself! Come off this! He was right. Though it was... strangely worded, they were going to be friends, and that was that. She would just talk about things that interested her, and hopefully they'd have some form of mutual hobby. Maybe he'd even tell her what his power was, and hopefully it wasn't killing people by just thinking of them or something absolutely terrifying.

She quickly told the overly happy waitress that they'd like a table, and they were quickly sat down. It was a rather small booth, obviously made for two people. It didn't really bother Xenia much, as she rather liked small places. Speaking of which, she suddenly had the urge to be back in her dorm, rolled up in her blanket playing Pokemon with music blaring in her headphones. Maybe even more than being here. But she definitely wasn't nervous. Nope, not at all.

"So, you mentioned you've mastered your powers already? That's neat. Did you take some sort of private school before you came here? I think I have a pretty good grasp on my powers myself, but then, I don't really use them much."

She looked at the blank expression on her acquaintance's face. Suddenly, her mind began backfiring. What if he didn't want to talk about his past? What if his powers were a secret? Was it too personal for a first conversation? Had she gone too far? What would he think of her digging into his past so quickly? Did she look suspicious? Quickly, yet somehow insanely awkwardly, she changed the subject.

"So do you like... video games?" She flashed him a nervous (yes, nervous) smile, hoping it would fix everything.

Tellios sat in the booth across from Xenia, the waitress walked off after that to come back with something, he wasn't sure on what. He was in the oddest of situations. He himself was debating on leaving and returning to his own dorm to catch up on reading. With Alcohol. Just to taste it. That was it. He smiles a bit taking his satchel off and putting it under his legs on the ground.

"Well, my powers as they are called I created knowing them all, and I grew up working with them." He said first looking in his bag for a few things and putting a set of keys in his pocket and his wallet in another pocket. "That's good for you. Really it is. Out of curiosity how did you come to Starlight?"

He said with a straight face. His eyes looking directly at Xenia. He wasn't sure on what was putting her off at all. He wanted to get into the bottom of it. He noted that it wasn't something he said. Did she think he was going to do something to her? Drug her? Anything considered wrong in the eyes of the public? He wasn't sure on what was going.

"Video games? Sure, I've played a few. I used to play pokemon on my tablet and started playing the Final Fantasy games. I must give credit where credit is due, these games are amazing. In fact just last night I was playing one of the more recent pokemon games." He wasn't also going to tell her he could play the games and access wireless and wired features of those games inside his head. That would be weird until she knew about what he was. Not who, but what he was.

"Is there a problem Xenia? I do believe if you wish to know more about me questions should be asked is not?" He wasn't sure on what was going on. He was VERY intrigued for this one. He leaned forward and put an elbow on the table and looked around her eyes. "If you wish we can do questions for question. I ask a question about you, you answer then ask one about me and the I answer till our required information is sated for the time being."

Xenia smiled again, this time genuinely. He played Pokemon? It seemed to take a weight off of her shoulders. Pokemon was one of her greatest passions in the world. Suddenly, she felt like she was talking to an old friend. At least they had had one common interest, and it was one that Xenia knew a lot about. Even if the rest of their conversations wasted away, they had this one thing to come back to, and she chalked it up on the victory side. Visibly more relaxed, she answered his other questions with relative ease now.

"How did I come to Starlight? Well, it's kind of a funny story. I didn't even know I had special powers until a couple months ago, when I was racing a friend. He always could beat me, but in that last race I sort of just, I dunno, poof. Got magic powers. After that, I graduated high school, and my parents got the letter in the mail that summer. I didn't even want to come, because the letter said the place was for special people and I'm not really that special, but no other colleges wanted me so my parents forced me to go."

She thought for a moment that she might have been drabbling on for too long and he probably wasn't interested in hearing her life story all at once, but for once, she shrugged it off. She decided she had spent too much of the conversation apologizing in her head and that she might as well behave with some confidence for once. Like the characters she watches in anime, or in the movies. I mean, it was just a friendship, how hard were those?

The waitress had made her way back to the table and asked for their order by this time, introducing a slight bump in their conversation.

"I'll just have a hot chocolate for now, thanks." She looked at Tellios, indicating it was his turn to order.

He didn't even look at the girl who was writing down the orders. He was far to interested in Xenia.

"Steeped tea please. Black. Teabag out."

He said and the Waitress wrote it down and left the two alone for a bit. This was his chance. He looked around. She was belittling herself and he smiled. With a soft voice he spoke.

"I don't know.. If you are at Starlight you can't be nothing special." He was parted that information by someone else, but that was a different ball game. That was Tellios fighting himself at the same time, trying to not fall apart from being stationary and all.

He was interested with in it all. It was information Tellios LIVED for this. He wanted to know as much as possible so he could understand her better and figure things out as he went trying to find out what and where he could take this. In his mind he was working on blue prints for something like a communications device for something, he wasn't sure on what yet.

"I find your story to be interesting, Truely. You found out you had your powers? Parents wished for you to go here and here you are? That is good. Your parents seem like nice people."

He blinked a few times and sighed. He forgot it was her turn to ask a question about him, was preparing for what ever question came his way, he would tell some false in his truth to protect some portions for fear of having her run away from him when she learned. He was prepared for that, but he hoped it wouldn't come to that.

"I think that it is your turn to ask me a question my dear."

"My turn?" Xenia smiled, this time almost devilishly. She had been in enough online chat rooms to know where this was going. Of course, he was making it into a game. And a game about personal information was one she would not lose. Absolutely nothing interesting ever happened to her, so divulging personal information wasn't difficult at all. She decided to start off small, to test the waters. She wanted to make sure he knew they were playing the Personal Information Game, because if he wasn't she would simply look foolish, and that wasn't about to happen on her watch.

"So, how did you end up here? You said you grew up working with your powers, so I assume your parents also have powers? Like how children of parents who can control an element can often control an element themselves." She recited that last part from her Genetics class, but she was more excited that she remembered anything from that class than anything. School never had been her forte, however...

"I find it much easier to remember stuff I learn in classes when it's taught regarding powers. It's a lot different growing up your whole life and never knowing about this side of the world, and then suddenly learning about it. Like in Harry Potter! But wait, how did Harry do so poorly in school? Anyway! Sorry, I'm rambling again."

Maybe she would fail her own game after all. It was just so easy to talk to Tellios for some reason. She would never usually ramble on and on about her thoughts like this with a normal stranger. She just felt safe around him.
