"Oh, no problem," Maddie giggled. "I think there are tour guides around for new students, too, so you should be on the look out for those. I could stay with you until you found one, if you wanted. No one should have to be all alone and lost."

Maddie had no idea what he was mumbling about, but if she had, she might have informed him that if he didn't wish to be lost, partnering with her wasn't his best idea.
Despite being here awhile, Maddie was terrible with directions and too flighty and easily distracted to pay much attention to where she was going. She only ever just made it to her classes in time for the attendance bell.
"No problem," she lilted, skipping forward and ahead of him to lead the way. Hey, she at least knew how to get to the administrations office.
"I know what it's like to be new here. It can get really hectic and scary. No one should have to be alone."

"I'm already going to an admissions office, but you haven't even told me where I am. What is this place?"
Noah already knew what it was, by the people all around using extravagant powers; he just wanted to hear it from her. He also wanted to find out how he got there.

"Well, this is a school for gifted people. Like, people with magic. But you already knew that. You're in Manta Carlos; it's an island full of mythical creatures. They have everything here and all sorts of cool stuff.
"I'm not really sure how you got here without remembering. Maybe you were summoned by someone? I don't really know the guidelines for something like that."

summoned?? Noah pushed the idea aside and continued to follow Maddie until they reached the Admissions office. Noah had a slightly shy face with a skeptical smile.
"Uh....what should I..."

"Um...actually, do you know your last name? I mean, you must be on record at the town hall or something, otherwise, how would you even get here? Most people I've met came here because they got a letter, but I don't know anybody outside of school, so maybe it's different for the adults."
