Maddie was momentarily stunned into silence by the sudden topic change. Her confusion didn't last long; soon it was replaced by her characteristic contagiously guileless smile.

"I'm a shapeshifter," she said. "But only into animals, and no, dinosaurs don't count. That have to be from this time period."

She must have been asked that question a lot.

"So, what do you do?"

"Woah, that's amazing. So about my power..." Noah took a breath and calmed down, as he realized he was overly excited to meet a person for the first time.
He then grabbed his necklace, and, as it began to glow, A crystal blue long sword appeared out of a shimmering light and into his hands.
He then proceeded to explain that he has the ability to enchant his weapon.​
"I currently have two enchantments. Fire and Ice.
Noah's hand began to glow as his sword envelops itself in bright blue flames. After a few seconds, the flames dissipated, with no traces of smoke left behind, and the sword shimmered into thin air again as it disappeared.
"It's an okay power. But I bet everyone here has amazing abilities!"​

Maddie watched curiously as a sword appeared in his hand. That was two swords she knew about at this school!

"Yeah, everyone here has some pretty cool stuff! I've met people who can like, turn into wind, or make anything they want, or even open portals!"

Maddie's excitement was making her practically bounce. It seemed Noah wasn't alone.

She calmed herself down best she could manage (which wasn't very good). "I haven't anyone who can enchant stuff yet!"

Then she turned in a semi-circle and pointed to a building in the distance. "You should probably head to the administration's office for your dorm information and class scheduling."
