The bottle had laid dorman at the bottom of the sea for a long time, its sole resident sleeping as the world moved on. Then things changed, a simple accidental bump from a fish and push of the current and the bottle ended up in the sand of the beach. Whether by fate or simple dumb luck a young woman was walking by, her foot nudging thr blue bottle, she'd pick it up.

A small cloud of smoke would emerge from the bottle, spinning and forming into a young woman. Dark skinned with many blue tattoos, she'd yawn and stretch her eyes landing on the stranger.

"Hello~!" she'd spin in place before starting to float around the person excitedly, "oh my! Oh my! I am Blue of the bottle at your service master!" She'd say it all cheerfully and happily, smiling brightly. "Can I be of any service? Are you hungry or perhaps thirsty? Whatever your desire I shall fulfill to best of my ability master~~!"

Caissa's trip to the beach had been, in a lot of ways, therapeutic. She came out here sometimes to meditate and clear out some of her memories that she didn't need anymore. Do yoga and give herself something to focus on. And sometimes, just scream out at the ocean after a particularly frustrating summoning.

But what she hadn't expected was the lamp that had washed up onto the beach. It was clearly magical of some kind, with how undamaged it was despite having clearly been in the ocean for a while. Her first instinct was 'genie' but she hadn't fully expected to actually be correct.

But as the smoke transformed into a girl in front of her, her one good eye could see the magic swirling around between the two of them: binding them together. Her first thought was how much that had to suck. Her second though was how useful this could be.

Caissa carefully sat down onto the towel she used as a yoga mat while at the beach, leaning over until she was resting on her elbow. A small hint of a smirk playing at the corner of her lips. "Whatever, huh? That's a tall order, cause I want a lot. So how does this thing work? I get three wishes and then you go back in the bottle? One wish? Does your lamp fly into the air and fly somewhere around the world like the dragon balls?"

"Dragon balls?" she'd ask curiously, slowly floating around Cassia, "I'm afraid I don't know what those are master." Her most recent stasis period had been quite long, looking at Cassia's clothing alone indicated that it was a very different time period.

"Either wayaaaay," she'd sit cross legged in the air, just above the sand, "I'm a general servant genie, I'm capable of granting three wishes a day in the form of conjuring simple handheld items for you, any items as long as they're not currency or precious metals" That level of wish granting wasn't really impressive, Blue knew this, so she was going to try and be a a good salespeople. "I know those limitations are frustrating and I apologize for that, buuuuuuuuut there's also no time limit fo my services and I must follow all orders, so I'm yours for as long as you wish."

Slowly the genie would flip upside down, giggling a bit as some of her clothes fell over her face though she quickly pushed them back into place. "So, I'm yours master, your personal servant, here to fulfill all your needs and desires to the best of my ability."

"Mine," Caissa repeated, rolling onto her stomach and arching her back to look up at Blue, her chin rested on her hands. She did like the sound of that. Her father certainly wasn't going to compensate her for all the hard work she did in his stead. She deserved this. There was just one problem...

"I'm going to have to report this to the school. Keeping a slave is a no-no, but based on what I saw from the magic that came out of you when you popped up, we don't have much of a choice. I'm not going to die and you look like you stop existing if no one is there to lead you by the nose."

Her mind was working several hundred miles an hour, thinking of all the ways she could use three summoned items a day. She could test the limits of that later. For now, she just needed to figure out some other things.

"So, first things. Don't call me master in public. People will think weirdly of that. My name is Caissa. Easy, right? Second, I need something to call you. I assume you have a name to go with that cavity inducing personality?"

"School?" she'd ask curiously, tilting her head, "you are a student at this school?" She'd never been to school really, was no need given her purpose and none of her masters ever seemed interested in having her educated. "I'm afraid I don't really know where we are," her last memories were of a ship her master captained, she was assuming that was a long time ago.

"Oh oh oh oh...I almost forgot...I have another ability that adds to my services," she'd float to where she was essentially laying on the air, "when I'm nearby any supernatural abilities you have will be enhanced, stronger, apologies for not mentioning it, most of my masters have been normal humans." There had been a few magic users, but they'd been rare.

"Cassia~" she'd repeat the name with a nod. "I do not have name really, one master started calling me Blue and most after have called me that or some variant of it." She'd giggle, "so Blue will do unless you'd prefer to call me something else."

"Blue then. Why fix what isn't broken, eh?" Caissa arched her back like a cat and crawled closer to her new... companion? Slave? She couldn't quite decide what this was exactly.

When she was close enough, she broke into a toothy grin with a hint of maliciousness in it. "We're gonna have a great time, you and I. But I want to know what I'm getting into. Why don't you give me the quick rundown on your previous masters."

"Yessssss, we shall have a wonderful time," she'd say with a giggle, emotionally she was a bit neutral, happy to be out of the bottle, and she'd learned in the past that a happy genie usually made the master a bit happier. "We'll have adventures, and hopefully I'll serve you well Cassia," she was curious about what this master would have her do.

"Oh....," she'd giggle once more, "I don't think the rundown can be quick? I've been around for sometime." She'd lean back, thinking a moments, "I remember serving my first master....the first crusades were just starting, he died during them, he was the leader of some raiders, had me make weapons and spy as needed." That had been a long time ago, even from her last memory. "Next master was a necromancer, he had me steal bodies, templars killed him."

She'd go on, listing a large number of masters, most were just uninteresting humans, she'd look at Cassia. "Would you prefer I only talk about the ones who stand out the most?"

Caissa chewed over this information a bit. A lot of masters huh? And the Crusades? So the little... ditz had been around for a while. Which made sense, but you could never be too sure. With a dismissive wave of her hand, Caissa cut off any further explanation. "No no. We can figure out the details later."

"As for now, I think we can head back to the school and get you settled in. I can't imagine you've ever taken classes, given how much sea grime is on this lamp."

Caissa stood up, taller than Blue and stretching her arms above her head. She snatched up her beach towel, shaking the sand off of it and lazily tying it around her waist like a skirt. She started to head inland, gesturing for the genie to follow. "Come on. While we walk, tell me more about this wish granting. You can make objects, but do you have to know what they are or even how they work? Could you make me an iPhone?"

"Oh dear," she'd pick up the bottle and look it over, "yes, it seems I was asleep down there for some time." She attempted to clean off the bottle but her focus quickly returned to Cassia, she was her master after all and the bottle could wait. "And no Cassia, never really been to any school, never seemed necessary," she was a little curious about it though.

She'd watch as her master stood, her blue eyes looking her over curiously. "The magic will summon whatever you wish," she'd nod, "doesn't matter what my knowledge is, you wish and my magic will make it so." She'd giggle, "don't know what an iPhone is but yes I can make you one if that's your wish."

The genie would walk beside her, her eyes looking at anything and everything curiously. "Would you like me to make you one?" she'd ask, looking back to Cassia.

"Perfection. Sure, h-" Caissa paused and corrected. "I'll take an iPhone." She'd almost said 'hit me' but depending on how this genie shit worked she might have taken it literally.

As soon as the iPhone was created, Caissa turned it on and watched it boot up. Interesting. It worked, but it probably didn't have a phone number attached to it. Still, she wondered...

As they reached the rockier part of the beach, Caissa smashed the phone against a large stone without warning. She stopped and crouched, pulling the broken phone apart to look at it's insides. It was an iPhone for sure, down to the microprocessor. A wicked, unabashed grin spread across Caissa's face.

"In-te-rest-ing. Blue, I could kiss you. You may very well be the best thing to ever happen to me."
