Never Before

Tokala looked up at Niyaz. "'Leave' is means to go away, yes?" He asked, just to make sure, then turned to the female again, trying to remember his manners.

"Tokala." He said, ears flat against his head still, but his tail was a bit more smooth. However, he still hid somewhat behind Niyaz, stareing out at the girl with un-trusting eyes.

Token didn't trust this female, but he was suspicous of all new people, but he thought it would probably be rude to tell her to go away. So he merely shook his head, pouting, and still hiding.

Tokala looked up, slightly surprised, and nodded. He grinned, feelightly slightly warm and fuzzy and protected, as he never had before. Tokala had never known any parents to love him, had never had any friends. He stepped out into the open more, but still clung to the other's arm, as if silently saying he'd protect the other, too.
