No footsteps were heard along the long corridor as the ghost walked, practically falling over, towards her dorm room. Of course, that was logic - ghosts weren't supposed to make much sound, and she didn't in the first place. She wondered dimly if this was what humans saw ghosts as - scary sleepless beings, hunched over, eyes nearly closed. She chuckled softly to herself. Just two more hours, and then - then. Then she could plop down on her bed, with her laptop and her headphones, and study until she fell asleep. Though of course... Should she be checking in on Roland right now? It seemed as if she should have been... Ah. He was on the way to the store anyways - she could check on him more on her way back.
So there she was, so tired she couldn't phase through her door. Great. Aswan fumbled around in her pocket for her keys and, upon pulling them out, sticking them in the lock and twisting. The door swung open, and inside the brunette walked. Not stopping to look at the couch, nor where her laptop had gone, she walked straight into the kitchen, opening the fridge door.
"Two more hours... A run to the store - Ah, right. I need to check on Roland, and follow up with Klef if possible... And the art project needs finishing." She mumbled, glancing at a long list that hung from the top of the fridge. From out of the fridge she grabbed a new bottle of green iced tea and took a big swig.
And she STILL hadn't noticed the couch nor her laptop.

Roland was sick, the young mage had the same coughing cold like symptoms so many had. He also knew that Aswan was sick, so he had made a plan. He'd bought off an ungodly amount of junk food and some cold medicine, which he now carried in a bag and headed toward her dorm.

He stopped in front of her dorm and coughed a bit before taking a sip of his coffee, letting the hot liquid temporarily soothe his sore throat. He hasn't slept much last night.

Setting the bag down, he knocked, and patiently waited, sipping coffer and considering what he was going to tell her.

Out of habit, the young woman went into autopilot mode, walking briskly across the wooden tiles and yanking the door open, then returning right back to the counter, to her bag, which she started to rifle through looking for a textbook. The brunette figured it was Management again, checking up on the fire situation. Or trying to stop the noise complaints from a few doors down.
She was going to reorganize this when she got back - it had been bugging her for far too long. The fridge, she meant, had been empty for days, save for her last batch of breakfasts (she'd made them after Roland had decided to 'help' her). For right now - she could settle on waiting for perhaps another half-hour before she would go check on Roland, go to the store... pick up more tissues. Then she had another follow up, possibly with Klef - AH!
Aswan groaned aloud as she held a hand to her head. She was supposed to follow up with Roland as well, make his grades go up, possibly "study" - which was really just them cuddling, reading over notes, and eventually falling asleep... heehee. There was honestly nothing she wanted more than to just relax... but she had so much to do. After everything was done - then she could relax.
Although.. the migraine that had just revealed itself was rather intense. Hiding another cough in her medical mask, Aswan mumbled at the person at the door in a tired voice. "If this is about the noise complaints, I am telling you for a fact that it is the dorm a few doors down that is doing that - I have done nothing." Exasperation dripped from her voice - she didn't even look up.

He watched her go about doing things, not realizing that it was him. Most would have been annoyed, but he found it oddly cute.

Once her back was turned he quietly stepped in and set the bag on the table, quickly setting out her favorite chocolate ice cream.

He held back a chuckle as she remained oblivious to who he was. He stepped up behind her, pulling out a small rose as he did, "I've heard of no noise.....I did however hear that the loveliest girl on the island lives here."

At first she didn't even realize it was him. She was about to reply with a witty comment - something about her being a wild child, when she was clearly not. Or maybe a quick -
"I'm taken." she blurted. "Very handsome mage, smart too. His name is - "
Until she felt a presence behind her, and the smooth voice of a certain mage rung through her ears. Of course, she lit up instantly.
"Roland!" With a tired grin and a sigh, she turned around. "I was just about to check up on you. I know you have caught cold - how are you feeli -" A coughing fit broke her sentence, as she bent over, struggling for a few seconds to break free of it. Luckily she still had one of the masks that Adalwolf was passing out over her face. "UGH. Ahem. How are you feeling. Is what i was going to say." Aswan spotted the ice cream and grinned. "Oh, you did NOT. You do know I am going to steal the ice cream and eat it... later...?" She ended off awkwardly. "I suppose - I mean, i have a little time..."

Smiling he pulled her mask down and stole a quick kiss, "I'm doing just fine love. A bit of a cold, which means the mask isn't needed around me." Concern appeared on his face as she started coughing, lifting his hand he brushed a bit if hair out if her face, "you are overdoing it again."

"Yes your favorite," he said with a knowing smile. Leaning in he gently kissed her again, "I have come with a proposal love," he grinned a bit, "I have brought junk food and cold medicine."

Taking her hand he gently squeezed it, "so I say.....we stay here till it's over." He stole another quick kiss, "eat ice cream..you can show me the Netflix....thing.....I'm not sure what it is."

Aswan grinned, blushing. "Well, I am glad to know that, albeit sorry that you have to deal with the same illness as I." Taking off her mask, she slipped it into the back pocket of her jeans and kissed Roland back, looping an arm around his shoulders. "I am not overdoing it - it's only a mild inconvenience - AH!" she hissed, as her hand flew to her shoulder, which was currently immersed in pain. "Ugh, not again. Can you get the Advil from my purse? That will get it to shut up." The ghost sighed. "I have to go to the store and follow up with Klef and finish that art project.... hhh. So much to do." Unknowingly she had left the TV on when she'd left that morning, and now it broadcast the words "School Closed - many shops closed as well. Citizens and students alike are encouraged to stay in their dorms."
"UGH." Just when she had figured out her priorities, the very place she was going to shut down. She tore at her hair in exasperation, which only made the joint pain that much worse. "There goes my work," Aswan rolled her eyes, and, through the pain, put on a smile for Roland. "Well, that does mean I can show you" - more coughing - "that I can show you how Netflix works. And.. maybe eat some ice cream, though I know it's horrid for coughs." She stifled a laugh.
Don'tget her wrong, she was still planning on leaving in an hour to go to the store... or at least get some work done... but she wasn't so heartless as to leave Roland, her boyfriend and all-around cutie, waiting.
"Once you get the pills, I've got a glass of water here so I'll be able to take them... Thank you love."

The young mage quickly retrieved the Advil for her, "see...you shouldn't be going anywhere." He sighed gently squeezed her hand, "I apologize, I can't help but worry," lifting her hand he kissed it.

He loved Aswan and wanted to make sure she was taken care of, "I brought your favorites." He grabbed the bag and showed that it was filled with her favorite candies, "as you can see I'm not above bribing you," he said stealing a quick kiss and giving her a charming smile.

"I know you enjoy work and you like tutoring," leaning over he gave her a long kiss, "but your health comes first." He smiled, "now......this Netflix is a TV thing correct?"

Wincing as her hand, and by extension her arm, was lifted for the kiss, she shook her head. "No - it's only two more things. I can do two more things. Don't worry, i'll be fine." She took the Advil from Roland, and popped two in her mouth, washing it down with a huge gulp of water. Instantly she felt a little bit of relief. Not nearly enough to stop it entirely, but enough. She managed a grin. "I promise, I'll -" she was cut short as Roland revealed his hoard of junk food. Her determination faltered as her smile melted into a defeated look. "Not above bribery indeed." So many chocolate bars... Aswan sighed. And the quick kiss and the oh-so-charming smile he shot her melted her resolve.
"Okay, alright. I'll stay for at least an hour. Recuperate a little bit." She kissed him back. "Now. Yes, Netflix is... Well, it is taking the place of TV." Taking big, stiff steps, she went to go sit down on her bed, her laptop within sight. Finally, Aswan flopped onto the bed, righting herself so that she was sitting crosslegged there. "Come on, what are you waiting for?" She asked him, a playful look in her eyes.
Once they were both seated and comfortable, the ghost clicked over to Google and typed in the web address for Netflix, entered her password, and then came to the Users page. "This is where you choose who's watching," she explained.

Roland sat beside her and wrapped his arm around her waist, "oh I see." He watched as she explained the website and it's functions, "it seems useful."

In truth, his focus was mostly on her, this had all been a plan to get her to rest and recuperate from her illness. He slipped his rose in to her hair and kissed her cheek, "thank you love....I had been meaning to take a look at it."

He kissed her cheek again and whispered some romantic things to her, he loved this girl. "How about we...pick a film? I think it'll be a good way to spend the evening," he said stealing another kiss.
