Neo's Woodwork and Smithy is named in a quintessentially Chinese way; it is perhaps for this reason that it stands out. It's, as the name suggests, a place where people can go to get wooden products as well as hire a blacksmith's services.

It is a two-storey building, counting from the ground floor. The first floor is partitioned into three rooms — the first is a meeting place cum display space, where customers are able to discuss projects with Meredith. The second is the woodworking station — it's large and well-ventilated; the room is airy and warm, and sunlight filters in through the large windows wedged into the walls. The last room is the smithy — safely fireproofed, with a large forge in one corner, and a myriad of tools in the other.

The second floor comprises Meredith's living quarters. It has everything a typical home would have — a kitchen, shower, spare bedroom for guests, the master bedroom, living room, and a few other facilities. A small Taoist altar can be found in one room; Meredith herself is non-religious, but she keeps it maintained in memory of her parents. As a result, the house is always filled with a sweet, but subtle incense.

Behind the main building lies a courtyard with a smaller building. It's shed-like, and was built to house lumber and larger projects that can't be moved into the main facility, like boats.

Neo's Woodwork and Smithy offers woodcarving and woodworking, and smithing services. Prices are not set in stone and are usually discussed upfront. A 10% down payment is to be made before any work starts, but after that, the customer may choose to pay in instalments, or all at once.
