After some discussion I'm considering dipping my toe back in SA with a character type that saw a lot of focus, but doesn't see a lot of play: a therapist. The character would be a pretty big deviation from my previous therapist, Valli, and would be more of the 'older brother type'. Not as experienced, well meaning, but less gentle with everything. Works better for some, worse for others.

Mostly I wanted to check if there'd be interest in this kind of character before I started making him.

I have
Nathan: A young vampire who was forcibly turned. Never turned in the vampire who did it, plus other trauma and such.

Vance: A young werewolf, little feral and also forcibly turned. Orphaned.

I also have Xera, who's a little older than the others but has a lot family issues, with her family having distanced themselves once she told them she was trans and some other stuff related.

I have a couple characters who could use therapy for different reasons and might actually seek it or be talked into it. Depending on what kind of patients you'd be interested in having your new character roleplay with, we could do any of them.

  • First, there's Andrasta, who has a lot to unpack after her whole thing with mount raenac-aezjtdaenr and might have been talked into talking to a counselor about it. She would be a new patient.
  • Then there's Ganymede, who's been processing his own trauma but isn't satisfied with his ability to relate to other people, so he would want to talk about that. He has been getting therapy for a while, and could either have switched to a new therapist because of reasons or
  • Finally there's Violet, who has a whole lot of baggage involving how she came to exist and her relationship with her "sister." We could play her as a new patient or say she's been doing this for a few months.
What I'm getting at is, if you want to play this character, you can have your pick.
