As today was her day off, it was the perfect time to get that tune up she has been needing for some time. Her left wing would randomly lock up, one of her engines was under performing, one of antennas on her head head snapped and her left most toenail was acting twitchy. Her usual go-to mechanic was close for the day but this gave an opportunity to visit this one place mechanic shop she made a delivery to a long time ago. They seemed like nice people and knowledgeable with machines so she figured why not pay them a visit? That and its been forever she walked around the SPACE STATION!

After being distracted by the pretty colors and funny faced aliens she made her way to the small technicians shop and swung the door wide open.

"Helloooooo! I am here for some repairs and a tune up please!" announced Tengu as she made her entrance, as chipper as ever.

Zyta thought that her boss should really decide to choose a specialization for his store. At the moment the place basically did almost anything related to technology and machines. They sold electronics, both new and old, performed customization and maintenance and sometimes the boss would even build cyborg parts through commission. Zyta was pretty much an all-rounder when it came to any kinds of machines, but sometimes it made her anxious to try and describe to customers what exactly they did here. She didn't get this job to perform customer service.
And yet Zyta was manning the front desk, while her boss was at home sick.

Zyta sat anxiously the the chair behind the desk, glancing at the door and praying no one would come in. She was in the middle of doing some small fixes to a blender, it's motor started smoking after only 10 seconds of continuous use and Zyta knew where the problem was. One slightly loose screw could mess up a lot of things. So Zyta had opened the blender up and was now in the middle of re-arranging the motor parts. Seriously, who came up with such an inefficient design?
But she almost punched a hole on the thing with her screwdriver, when the shop doors were suddenly swung open. Zyta looked up, her eyes wide, and looked at the...person? who had just come in.

Zyta stared at the woman, who had more machine parts than organic. Zyta had been around long enough to have seen cyborgs, but this person was unlike anything Zyta had ever seen. They were like a strange mix of a fighter jet, eagle and a person.
Wait, repairs and a tune up?
Zyta stood up, leaving the blender alone for now, and nodded a bit to the customer. Since apparently that was what she was.
"Um, do you have an appointment set up, or something? Because bo-, I mean, the owner is out today."

"Ohhhhhhh... was I suppose to do that?" asked Tengu as she tilted her head. She so used to just walking in being told to have seat she rarely ever considering making an appointment beforehand. Afterall, how the heck was able to predict when and where parts of her body would suddenly fail given how many mechanical issues she tends to suffer from.

"Errr... sorry, I'm sort of just used to just walking in and the mechanics would take a look after a few minutes." awkwardly admitted Tengu.

The harpy's eyes linger around the shop for a moment, studying merchandise other mechanical do-da that stocked the shelves and hanging from the walls. Now that she was inside she could really appreciate interior and layout of the store. Sure it was nothing like some of the other places where she had her inspections but she could get behind the quint charm of this place. At least there was familiar if somewhat faint tinge of grease and fried electronics that lingered in the air. After Tengus' eyes finished browsing around for a few moments, her mechanical gaze lock onto girl in front of her

"Should I just set that up now? Not like I have anything life threatening issues for once so I can wait for bit. I could just stand if corner for a bit if I have to ha ha haa ha ha." chuckled Tengu.

"Uh, no, I mean, I don't think so..."
Zyta hadn't still fully grasped how her boss handled customers, but he had taken in many customers who just walked in without a reservation. And then there were some people who called in beforehand and reserved a certain time and date. This person wasn't one of the regulars, nor had she come to the shop while Zyta had worked there. Zyta would've definitely remembered this marvel of engineering.

The woman took her time observing the shop, and Zyta took her time looking over her body. Well, the mechanic parts. Zyta was almost drooling from all the high-quality tech used on the wings and legs, and honestly she wanted to get her hands on them. Zyta wanted to see what kind of hydraulics were at work on those wings, and she wanted to see if the mechanic parts had any kind of mechanic frame or if it was still organic. Though that would've been bad engineering, those kinds of limbs would be best supported by artificial steel bones.

Zyta was snapped out from her engineer's daydream, when the woman spoke again, and Zyta forced her eyes to look into the woman's eyes.
"What? Oh, you don't need to. I can, uh, take you in now."
What was Zyta talking about? She couldn't take a customer that was supposed to go to boss. But...she really wanted to see how this woman worked. And boss had taught Zyta a lot about working with cyborg parts, she could do the kind of tune up the woman wanted and if she couldn't she'd just ask the woman to come in later when boss was around.
"There's a backroom workshop for maintenance, follow me."
With that Zyta moved over to a wide doorway covered by a curtain, that lead to the back of the shop.

"Oh good! I'll follow then." chimed they cybernetic harpy as she closely follows the girl behind.

As she was led into the workshop Tengu couldn't help but look around. Workshops such as these were always familiar sight to her but it was always fun for her compare and contrast various ones she had been into previously. Some tools and heavy machine she recognized but some of the stuff in here was completely alien to her but figure that since this shop was hosted in the space station, these people were used to working some out of this world technologies.

"Wow... there sure is a lot in here. So do you need me sit in chair or strapped down on table? I can remove my limbs if that makes things easier to work with. Just keep in mind they are bit heavy~" piped up Tengu, mindful how every mechanic happen to do things a bit differently from shop to shop.

"Oh, my name is Tengu by way. Sorry for not properly giving you my name earlier~" added Tengu once she realized that she never gave the poor lady her name... or did she get hers now that she thought about it.

This person really was cheery. With a just a bit uncomfortable expression Zyta held the door open for her, people who were too happy or cheery or smiled a lot made her uncomfortable. And a bit annoyed if given time. This person wasn't annoying her yet, and Zyta hoped she wouldn't start annoying her during the maintenance. That could affect her work.

The workshop was a large area at the back of the building the shop was in, it had enough space for Tengu to spread her wings some if she wanted. Thankfully most of the equipment was made of steel, so it wouldn't burn Zyta immediately if she touched it. The room also had a desk with a computer in one corner, a kind of like a hospital table on one side but a lot sturdier, looking like it could hold a rhino. And it probably would. And the walls were lined with all sorts of tools, and Zyta knew how to use each and every one of them. Her boss had taught her ever since she came to the shop few months ago, and Zyta was a fast learner.

The woman kept chatting with Zyta after she had taken in the workshop, and Zyta had gone to the computer and opened a new customer file, where she could write down what kind of maintenance she did on Tengu if the woman ever came back and Zyta or boss needed to look up her info. Zyta put the name Tengu as the headline, and then turned to speak to Tengu.
"I'm Zyta. You don't need to detach anything yet, or be strapped down. Unless you're planning on wreaking havoc."
Zyta wasn't joking, she said it all with a serious face.
"Just sit down on that table. Uh, please."
Zyta gestured to the sturdy maintenance table, more than big enough for Tengu to sit there comfortably.

Zyta pulled on her work gloves, that covered her whole arm. In case Tengu had iron parts.
"Now, can you say again what was the issue with your mechanic parts? And tell me beforehand if you have iron parts, I am part fae and iron burns me. Uh, please."
Zyta always forgot to add the please. She sat on a stool that had wheels and rolled over to Tengu, propping a pair of welding goggled on her forehead in case she needed to use the blowtorch. You never knew.

"Ohhh nice to meet you Zyta! Anyway, I... I don't think I will be causing a havoc today so... I guess no need to strap me down. At least not today." replied Tengu as she takes a seat on the table. She listens Zyta as she asks her about her current issues as well inquiring if any of her parts were made of iron. That part Tengu was a bit unused to but then she never had anyone whom was part fae working on her insides... at least none that she personally knows of she thinks.

"Oh yeah sure... let me uhh... ask my consciences first. Hey conscience? Can you remind me of what my maintince is again? Oh and... do I have any parts made out of iron?"

There was then pause as Tengu looks straight ahead, just nodding her head and going "Uh-huh" ever once and while as if listening to conversation that only she was part of then. Then she looks Zyta with beaming smile.

"Okey so... my conscience likes to used big fancy words barely understand but they said something about errors in my locking between the joints of my mechanisms for my left wing... engine R3 preforming sub-optimally so... this one." Tengu then points to the jet engine in question hidden under the chrome like plating under her right wing. Afterwards to points to her leftmost toe adds "Something about the wiring for the actuator in my left toe and... uhhh... something about... radio communications errors? Uhh..."

Tengu then scratches her head, trying to figure out what her consciences meant by that before touching the broken antennae that snapped in half on her head.

"Oh right and my antenna broke again! I have the other end here." chirped Tengu as she pulls the other half of the antenna from her pack.

"As for iron, well nothing made of pure iron if that is what your concerned about. Most of the exterior and air frame wings are made of this really cool iron, aluminum, and titanium alloy stuff you see here. Otherwise, pretty much everything else inside has no iron whatsoever. Just... err... a bunch of other stuff like motors and wires and whatever else keeps a jet aloft I guess. Its pretty jam packed with bunch of technologies and small parts." stated Tengu with shrug, only possessing a basic comprehension on her her body worked.

Now Tengu was talking to her...conscience, perhaps that was the person's internal computer or such, implanted in her. Or else Zyta was just giving maintenance to a mentally unstable, perhaps even sick individual. Because being weird had limits. Well, Tengu wasn't aggressive or in any way make Zyta feel threatened, so she just waited for the consicence to be done listing the malfunctions.

Eventually Tengu began explaining, since the consciemce was only in her head, and it was Zyta's turn to nod and let out few affirming sounds now and then. Yes, all of these issues sounded like something she should be able to help with. As for the materials the woman was made with...
"Impure iron has little to no effects on me."
Zyta stated, and then took a moment to take a look at Tengu again, quietly appreciating the machinery. Tengu herself seemed to have minimal knowledge of her own systems, which baffled Zyta. Perhaps they were forced on her? That wasn't a nice thought.
"I will start with the smaller malfunctions, your toe and antenna, and move on to your left wing from there. Feel free to talk to me or ask questions during the maintenance, I am not easily disturbed, and I will answer to my best capabilities."
Like Zyta's boss said, being a personal mechanic was similar to a hairdresser, chatting was part of the job. Zyta hated it, but the actual fixing part of the job she loved.

Zyta rolled closer, and pulled another smaller table with her, and locked its wheels.
"Lift your left leg on the tablebn. Please."

Tengu never thought much of how crazy she must have appeared once she speaks with her conscience. For her she thought such conversations where normal and nobody really questions her about. They few times somebody asks whom she was talking to, she just happily answered that she was talking to conscience and people usually left it at that.

"Okey sure thing! If anything pops into my head I'll let you know! Otherwise I will uhh... let you do your work." stated Tengu as Zyta began to investigate the issues on hand. When told to bring their foot up Tengu complied and lifted their leg.

It was nice to have someone knowledgeable take a look at her inner mechanisms because she sure has heck doesn't. She sort of understood some on basics but when it came to the nitty-gitty details she just rather leave that part to mechanics to understand. Trying to understand the technical jargon was a bit too much for her poor brain to really get a handle on.

"If you notice anything or unsure of something, just... uhh let me know okey?" suggested Tengu, trying to be helpful though unsure how much help she can actually be considering how little she understood her own body. But if people knew exactly what was wrong with them there wouldn't really be a need for doctors now right?
