Personality
Hyper - Tamago is the type to have trouble staying in one place. She like movie around, and it's become a habit for her to get rid of energy by jogging in place or trying to parkour to high places. Parkour is actually her main hobby. Don't be surprised if you see her climbing on random things or performing acrobatic feats for fun.
Awkward - Tamago's hyperactivity may have her come off as confident and fun to be around at first. Then you'll quickly realize she's actually kind of fumbling her way through most conversations. From the awkward joke to the awkward laughter to the awkward way she'll lean on a counter and slip. This is only when she's in a casual conversation though. At work, she's able to be competent enough in a conversation to get the information she needs. Usually, her fumbles are from trying too hard to impress superiors.
Teacher's Pet - Tamago grew up being a teacher's pet and still views herself as needing to be the perfect underling to anyone she works with. Some might call her a suck-up, while others might call her a perfectionist. Really, she's just too nervous to mess up, and her self-confidence is heavily linked to her ability to impress her superiors.
Biography
Tamago came from a family of object heads. Object heads are born without heads, only gaining one after finding an object that they emotionally connected with. These heads grant them supernatural abilities connected to what they represent. When Tamago was born, her strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla colors gave her family the impression that her head would most likely be ice cream, so they named her aptly. Neapolitan.
Tamgao was raised in a fairly average Manta Carlos lifestyle. There were the occasional teasing and weird looks from seeing a child with no head, and there were plenty of times Tamago was mistaken to be a dullahan or ghost of some sort. Tamago was too focused on who she would be though. She wanted to find a head as soon as possible.
The first step was to obviously try to perfect as many things as possible. From school to gymnastics to computers, Tamago tried everything. She wasn't born naturally talented, but people could be fooled. Her desire to find the one perfect head turned her into a perfectionist. Everything she did she must be perfect at or else she wouldn't find her representation.
It was too much for her family to expect an object to match her name perfectly, but what actually connected to her was much weirder. At the very least, they expected Tamago to have a computer as her head. But when her mom gave her a Tamagotchi, Tamago treated it like it was her baby. Her obsession with it earned her the nickname "Tamago" and other shortenings of Tamagotchi.
The Tamagotchi predictably became her head, but that wasn't the end of it. One thing couldn't represent a person, and Tamago knew this. As she aged her love of computers and research grew. So when she was old enough, she got her head remade to be a computer with a Tamagotchi aesthetic. This was the best representation of who she was.
After years of training to become a detective, Tamago has finally been promoted from a police officer to a detective. She's been working as a detective long enough to be known, but she's still too new to have a solid reputation.
Active Abilities
- Tamago can do anything a phone or computer could do, giving her access to a photographic memory by storing everything she sees and hears in files
- Being connected to all of the World Wide Web allows her the ability to scan people and objects to search for information of them or related to them online
- Can connect to any technology with a screen within 40' of her, as long as she's in the same room or general area of the object she's targetting. This is done by her having the icon on her face show up and interact with the screen. Connection essentially makes her part of the device, allowing her to view downloads, search history, and if she's really focused, take full control of the device herself
- Can turn on a private wifi signal for those within 40' of her
- As an object head, Tamago's abilities are based on what is currently her head. The object she chooses will adjust to her body, but losing it will leave her as a normal headless human
Passive Abilities
- Tamago must charge herself to stay active. For every 2-hours she wants to stay awake, she needs 1 hour of charging. 16-hours of being awake would need 8-hours of sleep. The more strenuous the activity, the faster her battery will run out, making her sluggish before eventually powering her down
Weaknesses
- Soaking Tamago will turn her off until she is all dried up, inside and out. Additionally, anything that can turn off technology can do the same to Tamago Afterward, she'll have some damaged memory files and will most likely need to go to a shop that deals with technology to get herself fully repaired
- Turning off Tamago will leave her asleep for around 24-hours until she's charged and working enough to be awake. For another 24-hours she'll be more sluggish than usual
- No sense of smell
