Appearance Description: He's 6'2”, buff, and generally kinda scary looking. The weird spikey hair and the eyepatch don't help much with that. His face just kind off as reads as evil no matter how non threatening he tries to look. He doesn't even clean up nice thanks to that factor alone. Combing his hair down and throwing on a suit just makes him look like an office worker that's ready to fight the copy machine because it's out of toner.
To make matters worse, he can turn into a roided out tyrannosaurus rex that looks about as threatening as one would expect. It stands around the same size as a tyrannosaurus, maybe a head or so longer. Regardless, it's covered in thick armor plating, spikes, and most notably a sword like tail. His missing eye also seems to grow back when he's in this form.
Personality Description: He's really just trying to straighten himself out. He's not the best person and he knows this. At his core he's just kind of an ass. He's just crude, and volatile. He's not one to beat around the bush and takes things head on. While he lacks general foresight when planning he's good at thinking on his feet, which has gotten him out of a plethora of life threatening situations. For all his violent tendencies(that he's working through) he does have a rule against violence towards bystanders and people not involved in conflicts among.
Since coming to the island, Nate has mellowed out a good deal, and at this point can be genuinely viewed as fully reformed at this point in time.
Active Abilities:
Explosions: Nathan has the ability to generate explosions from his body via physical contact. While he can simply rest his hand on something to trigger an explosion, he's usually punching, stomping, or something...violent. So long as he hits a something solid he can generate an explosion These explosions have the general force of a grenade and only go off when he's made physical contact with whatever his target happens to be. He can use this ability in either form of course, the size of his body increases the area of the explosion. He does retain an immunity to his own explosions, he's not however immune to whatever collateral damage the explosion may have caused after the fact(collapsing buildings and such). There is a sort of kick back effect that prevents him from using this ability directly in succession. Nathan must wait 15 seconds before he can use another.
Nitrosaurus Reks: Nate can shift into a dinosaur creature. Just a bit longer than a tyrannosaurus but still in the general size range. He has armor plating over his body makes him durable enough to withstand small caliber fire arms with little to no harm. His tail plating is actually steel hard. He has a general immunity to explosions and fire unless they contain magical properties.
Passive Abilities:
Physique: His human form is robust and at peak human conditioning, with the exception of his pain tolerance and stamina which pushes just past normal human limits.
Weaknesses: He's particularly susceptible to electricity while in his dinosaur form.
Biography: Nate actually hails from Halcyon City, a parallel dimension where costumed heroes and villains were more or less common place. He was never one for a costume, but between a standard abusive sad back story and several unfortunate events led him to a life of crime. He ran with a gang of other small time villains performing bank heists and the like. Normally these were fairly easy get in and get out robberies, no one was hurt. However, they did seem to gradually escalate in violence. This all came to a head when his cohorts were in fact ready to murder a hostage. He turned on them during this process, and in the ensuing battle got caught up in a dimensional rift that tossed him into the sea near Manta Carlos. Upon washing ashore and effectively being taken into government custody he learned that he could have a second chance at a halfway normal respectable life.
To his world he's nothing more than a small time villain who disappeared, never to be heard from again. But he's been hearing murmurings of more people showing up from his world. Some real bad shit going down, or something.
