Naijiel has blue eyes and pale skin, both inherited from his father. His blonde hair, however, was inherited from his mother, as well as his refined facial structure, with high cheekbones and a narrowed jaw. His hair is shaggy and layered, and at it's lowest point falls just below his chin. His bangs fall just below eye level, but are sparse and therefore can easily be swept to the side, out of his eyes. He had two main color schemes as far as his clothing; white with faded yellow accents, or black with faded red accents. He wears the former more often, but he has a few outfits in the latter color scheme. He enjoys loose-fitting clothing, often with jackets, and despises formal wear. He appears to be in his early twenties, despite actually being centuries old. He has large, sixteen feet long black wings which he can magically dissolve in order to appear human.

Naijiel was born on the 8th of April, in the year 1778. As a fallen angel, one would expect that he was born in heaven, and indeed he was. His parents were both kind, as was expected of an angel, and yet Naijiel was seen as different from the start. He was strange, by angelic standards, because he did not possess a sense of moral judgement. That is, he could not differentiate right from wrong as clearly as most angels. He questioned moral concepts that most would have considered obvious, and often asked why the thrones were allowed to judge human sinners. He was curious, which was fine, but he always stuck his nose into the wrong places.
Those around him did not judge him, however, and only attempted to gently guide him to what they perceived was the right direction. They thought it was just a phase, something he would grow out of, and for a while, it seemed they were right.
By the time Naijiel was the angelic equivalent of a teenager, he had learned to stop voicing his questions about the thrones and the morals that the angels lived by. Of course, he still doubted the way angels lived and how they judged others, but he didn't show it. Instead, he lived a life of lies, pretending he agreed with the angels around him when indeed, he did not.
Naijiel grew up to become a messenger Malakhim, delivering messages between angels across heaven. Many times, he was forbidden to open the messages he carried, which he usually was easily able to obey. It was one day, however, that his curiosity got the best of him.
He was assigned to deliver a message from one throne to another throne, and he knew from a conversation he'd overheard before being given the message that it had something to do with the judgement of a human. He found himself carrying something that may answer all the questions he'd had in his childhood, so how could he possibly resist opening it? And so, he slipped out the letter and began to read it, but he had hardly read as much as the greeting before a shout distracted him from the paper.
"There he is!" He heard a Cherubim shout, "He's the one who stole the celestial records!" Panicked, Naijiel could only run in the opposite direction, despite having no idea what the Cherub was talking about. It wasn't long, however, before he was caught by a nearby Seraph, accused of stealing from the celestial library. They searched him, and they found the letter he'd been asked to deliver. Never could Naijiel have imagined that the letter he'd almost read was one of the celestial records! Indeed, he'd been framed, but his pleas were unheard, and he was cast down to the Earth for a crime in which he had no knowledge of.
For years after, Naijiel was determined to make his way back to heaven and prove his innocence, and found himself making little effort to understand the world he'd been plunged into. He easily alienated many humans, making enemies with nearly everyone, and not caring in the slightest, for he was only concerned with proving his worth to those who had cast him out, and nothing more.
Then, four years after falling, Naijiel met another fallen angel who had fallen decades before him. The other fallen angel told him that even if he managed to prove to the angels that he was innocent of his crimes in heaven, that he would still not be accepted back, because he had committed so many sins on Earth.
This was an eye-opener for Naijiel. As he left the other fallen angel behind, he realized he had two options; remake himself and attempt to become sinless on both Earth and Heaven, or explore this new world and see what all it had to offer, and forget about the morals of the angels he had always questioned.
He chose the second option.
Involving himself in drugs, alcohol, gangs, crimes, and various other less-than-legal activities, for the longest time, Naijiel struggled to forget his time in heaven. He continued this way for maybe fifteen years, although a creeping feeling was coming upon him that told him this wasn't what he wanted out of life. So, finally, he decided to make himself anew. He'd received a letter in his first year as a fallen angel, an invitation to Starlight Academy. At the time, he'd ignored it, more concerned with making his way back to heaven then finding his place on Earth. He managed to find the old letter, and proceeded to move to the school grounds, enrolling as a college student in hopes of restarting his life.

Traits:
Positive: Alert, Athletic, Brilliant, Calm, Clever, Courageous, Daring, Focused, Incisive, Independent, Innovative, Intelligent, Neat, Organized, Stoic, Tidy.
Negative: Amoral, Asocial, Blunt, Critical, Irritable, Secretive.
Description:
Positive:
Alert: Years living the criminal life has made his senses grow sharper and made sure that he's always on his toes. As a result, he may seem a bit over reactive, especially if you wake him up when he's asleep, but in the past it's helped save his hide.
Athletic: Although not much for teamwork, Naijiel is well-built physically. If he could get past his own social downfalls, he may actually be good at a sport.
Brilliant/Clever/Incisive/Innovative/Intelligent: Naijiel is great at improvising in critical situations, and has a natural intelligence that outshines many, although he hasn't been properly educated beyond the middle school level. As such, he struggled in college, and could use a private tutor, except his pride forbids him to ask for one.
Calm/Focused: When Naijiel is in his comfort zone, he's able to maintain incredible focus. However, when he's forced to do something he's not comfortable with, his focus and calm falls apart, and he seems to be an entirely different person.
Courageous/Daring/Independent/Stoic: Naijiel isn't one to complain often about anything, especially pain. He's fiercely independent, sometimes to an extreme, and asking another for help would be a terrible blow to his pride. However, he likes to take risks, even the kind that may mean risking his life. He isn't afraid of much, so if he's afraid, you ought to be very afraid.
Neat/Organized/Tidy: Despite his daring nature, Naijiel is actually quite the clean freak. If he owns something, you better bet that it won't have a single speck of dust on it. His dorm room? Spotless. His backpack? Organized from the largest binder to the smallest notebook. He doesn't mess around when it comes to cleanliness.
Negative:
Amoral: Despite being a formal angel, Naijiel is hardly a model citizen. He's been involved in many crimes in his past, and despite currently trying to remake himself as a better person, he still struggles finding what's right and wrong in a world where the line is always blurred.
Asocial/Blunt/Critical/Irritable: Even though he's trying to remake himself, he still struggles with the same problems he always has; he's terrible at making friends, and instinctively likes to push himself to the edge of society. He's critical of not only others but himself as well, and is incredibly blunt about his observations. Even worse, he's easy to irritate, and will be pushed over the edge by the simplest of things. He's certainly a piece of work, but if he meets the right people he just might be able to make a friend yet.
Secretive: As a fallen angel, he is by requirement secretive. he has to be, in order to hide his true identity from the world. Moving to the island will certainly be a change for him, as having everyone know what he is will be a very different lifestyle for him.

Powers: Naijiel is relatively weak for a fallen angel, and does not possess any of the powers that he used to have as an angel, unlike most fallen angels who may posses one or two weaker versions of their old powers. He does not posses any magical abilities, other than those that all of his species possess.
Species Abilities: Like all fallen angels, Naijiel is immortal, and heals twice as fast as the average human. He can magically dissolve his wings, cloaking them in invisibility so they cannot be seen, felt, or heard. When his wings are visible, he possesses the ability to fly about as high as a low-flying airplane, although he's more comfortable at the level that a helicopter would fly. Like most of his species, he still possesses the superhuman qualities of an angel, although to a lesser degree, and can lift approximately 500 pounds without much trouble. He can run 50 miles per hour with ease, and 60 miles per hour if he pushes himself, although he can't maintain either speed for longer than a minute. He has more durability than a human, as well, and could fall from a three story window with nothing more than a few bruises, and being a bit winded. That is, assuming nothing is done to absorb the impact.
Weaknesses: Naijiel, although quick on his feet and very agile, has only moderate stamina and relatively low strength. If forced to fight in a boxing ring, he would fail terribly. The lack of space to move around in and the absence of places to hide and assets to use in a strategy would disable him. In a fight, your best bet is to get him somewhere where he has no choice but to face you head-on, and then overpower him.
Species Weaknesses: Naijiel has the same weaknesses as any fallen angel; if you remove or otherwise destroy his heart or his brain, he will die. If he suffers an injury that would kill a human instantaneously, he would die, as well. He can bleed out if his heightened healing is not fast enough, and he cannot regenerate missing limbs. He cannot heal from anything that a human could not heal from, and his wings are rather fragile, as the bones in them are hollow. Also, he's susceptible to hellfire, and any burns created by hellfire will not heal any faster than that of a human. Normal fire, however, has no more effect on him than it would on a human.
