To date some hundred ships and aircraft have vanished in an area of sea known as the Bermuda Triangle. While many believe that they sunk and their passengers drowned, it is not so. There was at least one of the Chosen upon the vessel, and it was therefore pulled through the legendary Xona Portal into my world. The unChosen are washed up upon one of the other Isles in my world: usually they are sent to the Mainland. But the Chosen appear on Mystic Isle, an island shrouded in mystey. It is the furthest island from the Mainland, and a perpetual mist shrouds it from view: it is visible only as a fain blur on the horizon. The reason for the secrecy is of the upmost importance to all the People in my world.
On Mystic Isle there is a school. A school for the Chosen. There are very few Chosen from my world, so most are from Earth. The school teaches the Chosen how to use their powers, and about Yera. Yera is my world, the world in which Mystic Isle is located. It is a world of balance. For every thing there is an opposite. Day and Night. Light and Dark. Good and Evil. The Diamond and the Opal. The Chosen learn about their powers, and how to use them to defend the Diamond. For without it, all of Yera would fall into Darkness. Of course, there have always been a few Chosen who serve the Opal, but they have always been the minority. The Diamond has reigned for ten thousand years. And for ten thousand years the Chosen have defended it.
