Victor was tired. just as he had dozed off, he received a message from a unknown number. Being the guy that he was, he couldn't leave it unanswered, and thus had responded.

Victor was tired. just as he had dozed off, he received a message from a unknown number. Being the guy that he was, he couldn't leave it unanswered, and thus had responded.

Now, half an hour later, he was in the Strip. near the same bench where he had met Noli, but this time it seemed even weirder. music was blaring and drunken men and women were falling out of the bar, wrapped around each other. one woman even wen so far as to try to kiss him as she walked past, only to throw up on his shoes. That was disturbing. Pity he couldn't fix the smell.
Looking at his watch, he wondered who it was that sent him the message. He had absolutely no-one in his contacts, and he didn't remember giving anyone his number. That was practically the entire reason he had come in the first place. Pulling his baseball cap down lower, the lights seemed even brighter.
