Tellios walked into the building, he had already unpacked everything at the Dorms, not much, for him as he had previously removed the bed since he didn't need sleep and placed a chair in the middle of the room, but that is something different. As he went from the outside wearing shorts and T-shirt, it slowly changed to a nice Black clothing. Nice looking dress pants, shirt and a tie, with his black Satchel hanging off his shoulder high enough to rest his arm comfortably off it. He slowly scanned the area. It was....

Interesting to say the least. Many people's names on the wall, Valedictorians, and other high ranking officials; Headmaster, teachers and what not. Which was nice, He wanted to know what he was getting into more than what the others were doing, he wanted information. That was his weapon. It was him.

His mouth moved as he spoke, his facial expressions unchanged. To anyone else, he may look either inhuman or just not surprised about this place.

"This place will do... I should be safe here no matter what."

He said ensuring no one was around as he pulled out a pack of gun and threw a piece into his mouth and started to chew. He was happy he didn't give much information about him to the school. Nothing about his past as no one truly asked about it, though he would have to find someone worthy of that information through their strength and will. Also Loyalty. He pulled out his tablet as he looked at it he begin to speak. Which activated a voice system that searched many systems that it was connected to at once.

"Starlight Academy-Map."

Nothing came up. His eye began to twitch slightly. He let out a heavy sigh as he put it away. His eyes scanning around the area around him, trying to find something that could help him get around this place.

"Guess I got to do this one of the old fashioned ways.. Either get myself a map, by any means, or walk around like a child who had lost his mo-" He stopped himself putting a hand in his hair. "Nah, that's stupid, I am sure I can get a map somewhere. I'll check where ever."

He was a bit busy thinking of where to go, thinking of finding somewhere to download the information or try and go find the teacher of the Arts and get to know the person so he knew what to expect and so he/she did. He rubbed his chin, still looking at awards and what not as he gave it all thought. He tried not to grasp the morality he was getting himself into. He didn't have any morality. He wasn't even human to begin with.

It made Travis a bit nervous to close his shop down on a busy day. He knew he'd only be gone for a few hours, but he didn't like leaving all those fine animals alone in the shop when their potential owners could be walking past the door. The stuffed his hands into his pockets and began walking faster, with his own pet, Coaliander, following closely at his heels. After trotting down the halls of the administration office, he heard Coaliander stop and yip at him. He turned to face his best friend.

"What's up, Coali?" Travis said. The young flare demon was poking his head into another hallway. Travis too looked down the long expanse of hallways that made up the Administration Offices and saw nothing but a young boy messing with what looked like a tablet. "There's nothing there. Come on, now. You know we have to get back." Travis quickly began walking again. Coaliander jumped in front of him and yipped again.

"What? Come on! I know he looks lost, but I don't live here anymore. It's not really my duty to-" Coaliander cut him off with a growl. "Okay, fine." Travis turned around, running a hand through has hair. He walked up to the younger man. He seemed pretty apathetic about being completely lost.

"Uh... hi." He said awkwardly. "I, uh, used to go to this school, so I can help you find where ever you're going?"

Tellios over hear some yipping down the hall. He glanced down the hallway and shrugged it off, his eyes still fixed on everything in this hall, he did move around a bit as he heard footsteps come up to him, he turned his head over. Gazing upon the man who had stopped and looked like he was about to talk.

"Uh... hi."

He heard in the most awkward way that a human could, it was weird and it caused Tellios some issues as he raised an eyebrow, trying to find out what put him such ill at ease, he glanced down at the little fire.. thing, he wasn't sure though some information was regarded into this as a 'demon' the memory bank ran searches about it but only came up with basic information as is.

"I, uh, used to go to this school, so I can help you find where ever you're going?"

Tellios turned back to what he was doing. He was still interested with in the relics that were staged here, well not relics but the awards, the names, the past and the present. People who where here achieved many great things.

"Ex student? Good, I require either a map or a USB drive with a map upon it. Either that or-" he stopped himself and rubbed his eyes. "Sorry, Well, I just got here and don't know my way around, a map was not included in my package when I ASKED for one. I don't know if we have a theatre or even some kind of ballroom with equipment I can utilize for the course I am taking."

He wanted to mention the mans Yipping dog of a fire demon, but he found that it was not relevant information at the time. He put a hand in his pocket as he returned his glance over to the man who walked up and talked to hm. With a small chuckle he asked.

"Though, sorry if I have caused you discomfort. You seem a bit on edge. As well as your... Other being let's call it." He then turned his whole body to look at the flesh and blood human in front of him and his..Smaller friend. "I do mean no harm."

He froze for a second and rubbed his eyes.

"Oh damn, I forgot to mention my name. I'm T-.. Miralis. Nice to meet you and your... Dog fido too."

He said as a jest and places a smile on to hopefully indicate it was a joke.

Travis couldn't help but smile when he referenced Coaliander. The thought that the boy was lost vanished from his head. He looked down at his pet proudly and Coaliander shot him a look, seeming knowing what was about to happen.

"Oh yes!" Travis smiled. "This is Coaliander! He's a flare demon who I met while at Starlight. He imprinted on me when we were young, and he's been with me ever since! Do you have any pets? Do you like them? If not, I know a great place where you could go get one! I own it as a matter of fact! If you leave the school and walk down to the town, you could-" On and on Travis ranted. He hadn't even remembered to introduce himself, but after spending fifteen years on the island, it was always a treat to meet someone he hadn't met before. The school was always accepting new students, but he still felt like he knew them all.

The sudden realization came when the boy's face actually changed from completely apathetic to insanely bored. He had been rambling again, and it was looking as if it was on a topic that he didn't care for at all. He quickly went into damage control mode and began backpedaling.

"OH! I'm so sorry!" he said, hoping to some how make up for the bad start. He thrust his hand out toward the boy. "I'm Travis Barker! I guess you are lost, huh? Well our, ah, Ballroom is on this floor, so you weren't far off!" He smiled and glanced down at Coaliander who looked equally as bored.

He'd already completely ruined it, hadn't he? Coaliander snorted, confirming his thought.

He overheard him talking about pets, he put a hand behind his back, with a half hearted smile on his face he spoke. He wanted to tell him to shut up, the man talked far more than Tellios did. Though he only gave him his nickname that would be enough to get him through the day, and it worked. It wasn't like he had 'Tellios' written any where but on his ID in the wallet he placed in his bag for easy access.

"They don't let pets in dorms, that and I find owning a pet is a type of confinement. Almost a te-" He stopped mid sentence as he stopped and looked at Coal. "I am sure that Coal is a nice pet, don't let that one burn out. I do not understand the idea of pets, nor have I ever wanted one.. I DID have one as a child I mean.. but that isn't something acquaintances should talk about." The smile turn a bit better trying to reassure him. "Though if I want one I know who to look towards."

He learned his name. It seemed like an average name, but this man to have a fire demon at his side must have been no average Travis.

'Travis? Telios rubbed his own chin, trying to remember where he heard that name, he shrugged a bit. He made notes about him in his memory files under Travis Barker. Name and first impression about him, and Coaliander.

"Ballroom? No theatre? This blows.." He said with a shrug. "Well, you know better than me. Lead on." He said looking down each hallway, also mapping out distances in his mind, creating his own map as he was going. noting names on the doors as he went.

Though he wasn't a fan of the idea of pets, he was free and he found 'pets' to be the same as he, a lab experiment, another test subject, he knew it wasn't but he wanted to try to keep himself from saying anything, the demon seemed happy to follow Travis around, so that was reassuring.

Travis let out a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding as he heard Tellios talk. At least he hadn't put him off so much that he wanted nothing to do with him. Travis didn't like making enemies. He made a mental note to not bring up pets any more during their walk to the ballroom. Of course he wouldn't be interested in one, he was a brand new student who wasn't even accustomed to the island yet. He wouldn't want the added responsibility of a pet. He pointed in the direction of the ballroom, and off they went, with Coaliander on their heels.

He wondered absentmindedly what kind of classes such a man would take in the ballroom, but even more interesting was his behavior when walking. His eyes seemed to be jumping from door to door, picture to picture. It was almost a robotic action. Travis decided that it might be best to continue some kind of conversation to carry them down the hall. Hopefully he could do a better job of it, this time.

"So," he started. "How did you end up here? What kind of powers do you have?" A pause. Then, Travis realized that he may not want to reveal them. "I mean, if you'd like to share! You don't have to!"

Tellios followed Travis, still making notes with in himself, examining doors and anything of note in the hallway, nothing big as he was going. He put a hand in his pocket with his left arm still resting on his satchel. He listened to Travis ask about his powers. Tellios couldn't grasp this.

"I... I mean that I came from an odd background, and I couldn't find a school that could match my intelligence, and I found this school was far harder on the mind than any other so I am here."

"I.. Don't quite understand what you mean by powers? I mean.. I RUN on power but I don't I can understand, humans have powers as well? Isn't this a school for students with gifted intelligence? He raises an eyebrow at at Travis as he was waling down the hall. He knew that he had his nanobots to create things but that was part of him, who he was. He wasn't even human.

He rubbed his chin looking at the ground as he walked, he was under the impression this was a school for people gifted with Intelligence. Not Gifted with powers. This was new to him, he was at a new school that didn't have much in terms of information besides being a school with many students, teachers and other things. That was it.

But nothing like this. This was utterly new so he started to ask questions.

"By powers you mean stuff like Fire, water and Earth manipulation? Summoning things like Coaliander?"

The answers to these questions left him to one last question for himself. He kept on an inquisitive face as he was asking the questions.

Why was I created?

Travis felt heat rush to his face as he listened to Tellios talk. He couldn't believe it! Hadn't the headmistress talked to him when he checked in? Hadn't he seen anyone use their powers yet? He knew from experience that the students were rather less-than-shy with their powers. Tellios had been bound to find out somehow, but he couldn't believe that his lack of subtlety had made him the one to spill the beans.

Through his years, Travis had learned a bit of people skills, especially since half of the student population had gone through some terrible past of hatred and rejection relating to their powers. He had learned to comfort to some extent but he was nowhere near perfect. He wished that he had never left his shop in the first place.

"Well, ah, yeah. I mean, most of the students here have some kind of special ability, but don't count yourself out! Being super smart is great too! Who knows? Maybe you could learn to move things with your mind or something. Our headmistress wouldn't have invited you to the island without good intention!"

Of course, Travis already sort of knew that his special power wasn't really related to his intelligence. It had taken him a while to figure it out, but he could now clearly sense a bunch of little animals crawling around in his companion. It was a rather strange sensation, and he wondered if Tellios knew about it. They felt like animals, but at the same time, not.

"Basically, don't worry about it. My power's really not that impressive either. I can just make friends with animals really easily. It doesn't even work on humans! Which would have come in handy more than once, trust me." He chuckled, trying to alleviate the mood. He hoped he hadn't completely ruined the school for him already.

He shrugged. Listening to him talk make Tellios's head start to slowly process all the information. The minute he got here he was sent to the Dorms, and was supposed to go to the headmasters, but he finished early in getting himself set up that he decided to learn about the place, Get information, and utilize it. That was his forte. Though the information he got was a bit vague. He wasn't okay with that. He was under the assumption he was okay here.

Good intention? That's what they said 'best things in mind for me.'He kept pace. "So... Humans, anything of flesh and blood have powers is what you are saying?" What am I doing here? "I mean of flesh and I mean.. humans and different species?" I am not one of them.

His mind was slowly tearing asunder as he was walking, this walk and talk was hitting every nerve. He knew he wasn't human, but he kept going regardless. Looking at the hallway as he walked down the hall, step by step he kept up walking with Travis. He then turned a half gaze to Travis.

"Humans are animals. Do not think otherwise. Your kind fights and dies, creates things and destroys that which doesn't obey them or they cannot fathom." He knew he wasn't wrong, he grew up. 16 years of his life in captivity. 16 years of being poked, prodded and constant tests.

Slowly and slowly he was losing himself with no idea of the people around him. He then turned his gaze forward. "But.. I have learned some good things about humanity.. I think. Though, I take it you can tell I am not what I appear to be."

Travis never broke his gaze on Tellios. He could tell that he wasn't liking what he was hearing. Instead of helping, it seemed as if Travis was only making him feel more like an outcast. That was not the case! No one was an outcast here. if anything, outcasts were welcome here. Travis stopped walking and touched Tellios on the shoulder. He looked at him with pure determination in his eyes, and began to speak.

"Look, man, no one is normal here. And not everyone is human! This is sort of where all us outcasts come to live. It's cool here, man. You'll see. I moved here when I was in kindergarten because my parents hated me, but everyone accepts you here. I think you're a really cool guy! And hey, just because you're not human, doesn't mean you're not a person."

He smiled, hoping that at least some of the truth of his words would sink in. He motioned toward all of the plaques and pictures that surrounded them.

"See all these people? Half of them probably thought exactly what you did when they moved here, but look what they moved on to achieve. You can do the same thing!" Coaliander yipped in concurrence, finalizing what Travis was saying.
