"So, that's all you can do?"

I could kill you....but I don't feel like it. She instead just shrugged and began walking again. Soon she was past him, but she kept walking.

Jamie, now feeling a little show-offish, smirked. He sent a bolt of lightning right past her. He sat down and waited to see how she would react to that.

When something moved past her at lightning speed--she didn't know it was literally lightning--Jazz flinched so badly she lost her footing and fell into the lake.

Jamie's jaw dropped. He jumped up and ran over. He extended his hand to help her out. "You okay?" He asked, unable to hold back a grin.

When he held out his hand, Jazz took it and stood, but immediately released it. Mascara and eyeliner now ran streaks down her face.

"You okay?"

Jazz glared, shoved him and flounced out of the water, wringing her hair out.

Jamie fell in. He climbed out and squished over to her. "It's not my fault you fell in!" He said. He pulled out his handkerchief and handed it to her.

"It's not my fault you fell in!"

Jazz rolled her eyes. "I'm sure it's not," she muttered in dark sarcasm.

She, against her own will, flinched when he reached out to give her the piece of fabric. She slowly took it and wiped the black streaks off her face.

Jamie watched silently. "So...uh...are you okay...uh...?" He had been going to say her name, but he realized he didn't know it, and from the way she was so nervous about everything, he wasn't about to ask for it.

Jazz looked at him and blinked. She flashed the grandest, most fake looking smile she had ever done. "Oh, yes! I'm great! Thank you for your concern..."

She rolled her eyes and with her head held high, held back his hankie. "Now get out of my sight..." She muttered.

Jamie took the hankie. It was pretty much worthless. "What's your problem?" He asked, not appreciating her attitude. He hadn't done anything to her.
