Aylin had been having an exhausting week. Nothing had been particularly bad, or even stressful on its own. However it just seemed like everything had built up to the point where she had simply wanted to ignore things. Her school work had begun to increase taking much of her time, and the amount of time that she needed to "Work" to continue affording her life style had gone up as well. This left her very little time to enjoy herself, and just relax. At least till now. Her phone sat inside her home, it's ringer turned off. And she was nestled neatly under the large willow tree in her back yard.
Her long tight slender coil of her tail sat in front of her before trailing off haphazardly around the yard. She had herself positioned in such a way that her cello, A large brown instrument, perched neatly on top of her tail in front of her. She had been like this for a while now, close to an hour. Her eyes had been closed and she was just playing. It wasn't for school, it wasn't to practice, it was just for her. An out pouring of her own thoughts, with musical notes instead of words.
Given that she was at home with nowhere to go or anywhere to be, she was dressed rather casually. A simple tan skirt, and white tank top was really all she needed. Her hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail, that was now draped over her shoulder, disappearing behind the cello in front of her. Her white and red scales, clashed sharply with the dark green of the shaded grass, causing her tail to stand out even more against the living carpet of her yard.
As she played, it would prove that few things could distract her from her now. She was even oblivious to the sound of someone approaching her, not that she would have objected to an audience. In this case though the person in question was known to her. Aki, as she knew him, was a rather quiet person who seemed to enjoy few things. One of which was his smoke, (whatever he chose it to be) and the other was music. He had listened to her before, while she played, and they seemed to have gotten on well enough every time. He was smart, and thoughtful, and she liked that about him. Though he always seemed so reserved, which she at first assumed was just him being shy.
She continued to play, ebbing more into the song, and losing more of her awareness with every note. Before long she had lost track of time, moving from one song into another until finally 15 minutes later she finally stopped freeing herself from her own auditory trance. Slowly she opened her eyes, and let out a surprised squeak as she caught sight of Aki. "When did you get here?"
