Makara's dorm was always a hustle of activity. There were always new students to move in, and old students to move out. One of his oldest dorm children - one who had been with him since the first day he'd taken the position - was finally moving out. They'd aged out, and they were mature enough that they no longer needed a dorm parent.

Others still did. He had a new transfer, someone who'd been with the school long enough they were no longer flagged as a new student, but who was newly moving into the high school dorm.

The boys former parent had left him a note - a note that Makara could not read. He presumed it wasn't going to be anything important (although it actually warned him about the fact that his newest student dripped acid), tucked it away, and headed to the room the boy had been assigned.

He was probably unpacking, and Makara slid right up to the door, knocking firmly once.

Leo stod by a window and looked out. The view was perfect. He grinned happily and started unpacking his suitcase. He didnt own much since he had burned everything. That didnt get the weird aliens spirit down! The acid alien creature perked his rabbit like ears when he heard a knock. Must be his new roomate! He could barely control his exitment to meet this fella.

Leo ran to the door and threw it open. "Hey bro!" He said with a grin and let his neon green tounge hang from his mouth. "Im guessing youre the fella ima spend some time with in this magical room!" Leo said happily and reached out his hand. "The name is Leo, Leo Lepus." He intreduced himself politly. At this point he had calmed down abit but small drops of the green acid rolled down his tounge and hit the floor, making small burn marks in the progress.

It was not the first time Makara had been mistaken for someone's roommate. The unfortunate reality was that he was short. Really short. He had what he considered a pretty mature face, but the size of him (skinny) combined with his height (miniscule) meant most people weren't going to look past that. He let out a tiny little sigh, having a hard time feeling even mildly surprised by the bizarre green tongue.

Or at least he was having a hard time being surprised until there was a telltale hiss as the green drool hit the floor. Makara paused, staring down at it. Did he - had had just melted through the carpet? He was leaving little burn marks. From his spit.

Makara took a moment to consider this before realizing abruptly why the boy had probably been placed with him. Makara could be hurt, but there would be no accidental death if something went wrong.

"My name is Makara Som." He said, taking the boy's hand and giving it a firm shake. "I would not be your roommate though. I'm the dorm parent who lives in this hall - if you need anything, I'd be the one you'd come to."
