Naoko had prepared for the club festival, to say the least. While a lot of the other clubs only threw things together the month before, Naoko had been prepared. She'd gotten permission. She'd gotten supplies.

And as the club festival started, Naoko was prepared. She'd booked the lawn by the lake, set up a gigantic screen, and in the interest of letting people hop in and out was playing all the Pixar shorts on loop, running one after another.

The later ones were always more popular - people loved The Blue Umbrella and Lava and all that, but even the early ones weren't bad either. Personally, Naoko really liked Sanjay's Super Team, but she wasn't that picky.

Blankets had been laid out in the lawn, letting people grab a seat without having to bother with chairs. The whole thing was set up so that anyone could drop in, coming and going freely.

@open - no post order, rapid fire freely

Steve McQueen stood at the back of the viewing area, dressed for once in somewhat more casual clothes. With jeans and a red checkered button up, the Director of Human Resources gave a calming presence to any of the parents who wanted to talk to other adults while their children watched Pixar shorts. The Club Festival was a welcome change of pace for the man, he had been at the island for only about 3 months and yet felt like he had been there for years practically. Now that school was starting to pick up again, things were getting more lively. Socials like this were nice, opening the school up to the citizenry was rather new to him.

At least his job was Staff Sponsor was fairly simple. He let the kiddos do whatever the hell it was they wanted and just toss them some money when they asked, or expedite their requests for venues personally through HR. Plus, he got to watch movies and gorge himself on popcorn like a manchild, and who didn't like that? The 32-year old sipped on his soda as the event began and people started to arrive. Occasionally he'd say something like, "Good job, keep it up sport" to one of the committee members of the club to seem like he was doing something. For the most part though, the man simply was there to escape the office and watch movies.

They were going to wipe the floor with these other clubs, and he wouldn't need to lift a finger to do so.
