Steps walking up the stone could be heard by anyone that was close by, since the fifteen-year-old female wasn't really doing her best to stay quiet. Like anything up here could scare her... there were very few things that frightened her. Besides, she didn't like silence, and if she wasn't walking so loudly, there probably wouldn't be any other sound. Brown hair hung in a pony-tail as it always did, swinging back and forth just a little bit as she walked, with two locks over her shoulders. Hands were in the pockets of black pants as she walked, and the girl let out a sigh.

"Ooh, this is fun..." Adelina said to herself sarcastically. "Mountains... yay...? Ha... I'm still bored..." She sighed again, and rolled her brown eyes in annoyance. It seemed to her that every place in this school was boring. But, then again, she hadn't been here for very long, and the only places she had been were the school, the city, and now here. And so far, she wasn't having too much fun.

She continued on her way, eyes still turned to the ground as she walked. Her footsteps weren't any quieter, and she was still bored. Sighing for the third time, she closed her eyelids somewhat as she continued on her way.

A violet-tinted mountain-goat trotted happily up the steps of one of the Mountain Paths' trickier slopes, occasionally shaking it's long shaggy coat of fur as if unused to it's surroundings. Stopping to have a quick look around the area, it's gaze staring in such a way that showed it was almost desperate for something of interest to take place, the goat then continued on it's way until it suddenley heard the unmistakeable sound of booted human feet stepping on the stones of the mountain-side.

Alarmed at the sudden sound, the goat gave a tiny jump in the air, and with a loud crack and a flash of purple energy, it twisted inside in on itself, before unfurling to reveal a 15-year old boy in a dark-violet jacket and long, matching trousers. Though the appearance of the boy was initially whacky, he seemed to have a way of conveying his 'look' as something natural for him.

The boy's name was Joseph Crow, and with a look of curiosity on his face, he proceeded in the direction of the footsteps, until he eventually rounded a large piece of cliff-face to find himself almost colliding with a young lady, approximately the same age as himself. Seeing that she had her eyes closed, Crow cleared his throat and said in a fairly friendly voice,

"Hello there! The name's Joseph Crow!" At this point he extended his hand for her to shake if she wanted to, "I'm a student at the Academy. What about yourself?"

This is fun, I'm not bored. This is fun, I'm not bored... Adelina repeated over and over in her head. Maybe if she thought it enough she could convince herself it was the truth. Although, she doubted that would happen, since it never worked the other times she tried it. Why she even bothered she had no clue... she sighed inwardly, knowing that if nothing interesting happened up here she would have no other choice than to go back to that horrible school. She hadn't even heard the crack; she was just too bored to bother listening to anything but her footsteps and her thoughts.

She opened her eyes and jumped a bit when she heard someone clear their throat, not having really expected someone to be there. She looked around for a moment before realizing where they were. She looked at the male, an eyebrow slightly raised, and rolled her eyes when he was finished talking. She looked at his hand, and kept her hands in her pockets; she didn't shake peoples hands, no matter who that person was. And, as he had said his name... it was... Joseph... something. She couldn't remember the last name. Not like she cared, though.

"Uh... hi..." she mumbled, tone not exactly that happy or welcoming. "Ha... isn't it obvious I go to that academy? Who doesn't go to that school around here?" She rolled her eyes. She knew that she hadn't given him her name, mostly because she didn't feel like doing so. She walked around him and continued on her way. She had wanted something interesting to happen... not have some annoying male pop up out of no where and start talking to her.
