Cardinal felt a pat on her cheeks, and she rolled over, standing up. "I'm okay!" She shook her head as well as a bit of other weird movement. After a bit, she walked over to her staff, casually picking it up and stretching.

"Well, think it's safe to say I officially lost that. Ya know not for nothing, in a real battle that was a perfect chance to end someone." She was smirking wildly, her tail wagging as she walked back over to Ava and leaning on her. "Probably shouldn't have taken that punch to the head, but you gotta admit, I looked so badass, right?"

Ava was relieved that Cardinal felt well enough to stand. She stood up too, and rubbed her back a bit. Doing that for the first time really did a number on it.
"And here I thought I snapped your neck. I've got a long way to go."
Ava snickered and straightened her shirt.

"Hell yeah I won! And that was my first time doing a suplex too. Who needs to end someone when I can just destroy them with sick wrestling moves."
Ava made and explosion sound and cackled, getting leaned on by Cardinal.
"I admit nothing, doggy, but that you got a stone head."
Ava grinned and flicked Cardinal's forehead.

Cardinal rubbed her head smirking. "I'd take that at this point, cause my lord this hurts." She bent down, picking up her jacket and flinging it over her shoulder. There was no sadness or anything, mostly cause she figured she'd lose. Not for nothing, she had no experience fighting stuff other then humans. Sure, some were super powered, but still human.

"Well, glad I can be a test dummy for ya. It was kind of cool, up until the impact." She winced a bit at the flick rubbing her head again. "Alright, take it easy there. My head seriously hurts." Standing up straighter, she walked over to her bag, throwing her jacket and staff on it. "This island's gotta have some magical bs thing to cure headaches, right?"

Ava patted Cardinal's shoulder, the one without a jacket, and pulled a scrunchie from her pocket. She tied her hair up and then smirked devilishly at Cardinal.
"And now you gain the honour to wear that neon maid dress for a week."

"If this island doesn't have some bs cure for headaches I'll forever lose my faith."
Ava snickered and walked over to Cardinal, leaning on her back a bit.
"Wanna go look for that bs cure together? I got nothing better to do except wallow in my victory."

Cardinal nodded, smirking as she put her jacket on. "Yep. Well, as soon as it gets made I'll wear it." She stretched, feeling a crack in her back. Even if she couldn't see Ava's face, she just knew that the girl had a smirk plastered all over it.

"Yeah, let's go exploring. Should probably drop off my weapons first at my apartment. Don't think the general stores would like me walking in with swords and stuff." Going to bag, she picked up everything, throwing it over her shoulder.

Ava snickered and stuffed her hands in her pockets, she hadn't brought any bag or jacket

"No, let's try walking into a store with a sword and see how fast the police get there."
Ava chuckled and nudged for Cardinal to start walking when she was done gathering her stuff. Ava headed towards the direction of the town, she really felt like drinking some coke right now.

Cardinal smirked, walking along with Ava back to town. "I'd love to, but Roldan already doesn't like me, I don't need to give him another reason." Although, it would be funny to see, just not with her.

Part of the reason she wanted to go home first was to get a bottle of water to drink. Get hydrated and stay healthy. Adjusting her bag slightly, she looked back at Ava. "So, you got anything good to talk about?"

Ava waved her hand dismissively and grinned, wrapping an arm around Cardinal's shoulders loosely.
"Eh, Hotplate is just overprotective. 'Sides, fuck the police, right?"
Ava snickered, joking around.

Ava pondered if she had anything good to talk about and then she smiled slyly and looked at Cardinal.
"I got this weird thing that happened one day. So, in power class..."
Ava started telling an elaborate story as the two walked towards town.
